I have been practicing yoga for half my life and I can safely say the best classes I've ever taken have been at Satsang. The teachers are caring, thoughtful, and take pride in providing an excellent experience for everyone. Andrea does an amazing job and cultivates and strong community. <3

Satsang is definitely my yoga home! I have regularly attended for several years now and I absolutely love it. They do a really good job of catering to beginners as well as those more experience. It really is a special place.

I'm a die-hard Satsang fan!
I have found the teachers to be excellent in their knowledge, skill and ability to engage students in class in studio and online. Each class gives me what I need and that is due to the teachers.
Shout out to my amazing teachers: Andrea, Michelle, Cynthia + Anna. Each challenges me in the best of ways + enrich my practice.
Satsang is a gem and we are so lucky to have it in Westfield!

The vibe is so encouraging and chill there. I was scared to start yoga and everyone was so welcoming. Andrea the owner is so knowledgeable and can adapt anything to make it easier or harder to meet your level. I love this place!

The Satsang community is friendly and welcoming. The teachers are knowledgeable and teach in a safe and accepting way, never pushing for your body to do more than is safe for you.

My husband and I were in town for his high school reunion and we dropped into this studio. We loved everything about it. The people were all welcoming and the yoga was awesome. One the best studios I have visited which we often do while traveling.

I have been enrolled in the Masters class at Satsang Yoga studio for five years. The masters class consists of men and woman who range in age from 60’s to 70’’s. Andrea conducts this class with consideration of our physical limitations. She always starts class with a thought provoking poem or soulful theme. Many of our poses are completed using a chair, blocks, and other aides to enhance our performance and make us feel like true “masters”! She provides constructive guidance and a lot of positive reinforcement. This class is a fun humorous experience and throughout the years the members have become friends! To accommodate COVID restrictions she has offered us classes in zoom to ensure our safety as well as to maintain our practice. I am often amazed how versatile Andreas instruction flows in each class. She is a dedicated professional and the best yoga teacher around!

Satsang is my yoga home. I learned how to practice at Satsang. Andrea’s Bliss Express is the perfect balance of flow and fun. I always feel better after class. The vibe in studio is warm and welcoming. Although the pandemic has been a challenge, Satsang has been there for me and continues to be a wonderful escape from all
of the craziness.

I've been going to Satsang Yoga for years! They are the real deal—authentic, aware, and attentive to every body, honestly. During Covid, their "replay of the day" has been my saving grace. Each teacher brings real experience, with respect both to teaching asana and to living life as a human on this planet.... all done with a sense of humor. I think that's what I love best. Wonderful community!

I LOVE going to Satsang. It’s become my home away from home. When Covid started 2 years ago, I went on ZOOM like everyone and everyplace else, but as soon as they reopened for live classes, I’ve been back almost everyday. I’ve always felt safe with the cleanliness, masking and social distancing. Everyone needs a place to escape to and this has become mine. But I’m willing to share so come join me. :)

Satsang was my first yoga class, ever. Which I am grateful for because it inspired me to keep going. Years later, I am still practicing there and also take classes at other studios. The studio is gorgeous, and the owner (Ellen) inspiring. What really sets the studio tone is the amazing variety in instructors. We get Karen, with her amazing Jivamukti influence (and foot rubs), Donna whose class is always unique and brings in meditation (something she lives by, not just "for class"). Michelle and others who do midday classes, open flows and weekends. Love this place!

Every time I am in Charleston I try to catch one or more of Satsang's amazing classes. They start the classes with a theme that takes the experience way beyond the body getting a workout. AND the music is great! I have been practicing and studying with the teachers for quite a few years now. They have changed my life for the better by supporting me through multiple stages of transformation. The community/ family-like vibe is strong and I feel like I belong even though I live out of town.

Ive been going to Satsang on and off for 2 years. They offer a decent class schedule and their instructors are pleasant enough. My low rating comes from a customer service standpoint- I've bought two packages there. As a busy professional, the desire and intention to practice yoga always conflicts with a hectic schedule and often times I'm not able to use my entire class packages. I respect the time limits they put on class packages, after all- they are not a non profit company. But, I had two classes left and called in a mere 2 days after they expired. Mind you, after training intensely for a triathlon my body is aching, and I called to see if I could use not both, but ONE of my classes. I dont think it is an unreasonable thing to ask to be able to use a class 2 DAYS outsite of the expiration date. more infuriating is that it came with an unnecessary lecture on committing to practice and essentially trying to blackmail me to commit to buying ten more classes so that she can reinstate one of my two classes left.
Where is the integrity in that? As you so aptly teach, karma will be served. Customer service laws discate that an unhappy customer will tell a hundred souls if not more. Was the lousy $15 worth it to you, Ellen? I hope so.
