Manager Needed! This is by far the worst Solidcore location I have ever visited. We arrived about three minutes late due to heavy rain, and the front desk staff initially let us in. After we changed, she suddenly told us we could not join the class because we had “just hit the five-minute mark.” She literally watched the clock and waited for it to reach five minutes before telling us we couldn’t enter.

If that’s the policy, she should have never let us in at all. Instead, she wasted our time, made us change for nothing, and now we have to Uber home because of her inconsistent and unprofessional handling of the situation. WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Jersey city is so much better

If you plan on driving to this location, do yourself a favor and pick another location because the parking situation is absolutely ridiculous. I knew it’s going to be bad but it is absolutely ridiculous with all the road closures. There is zero space! I circle around for 30 minutes to find a parking on every street possible it’s a big no. I would rather drive extra 15 minutes to Jersey City location where I can always find a spot. On top of that girl told me they’ll give a credit back for this class considering parking issue, flash news she didn’t 👍 walking distance customers friendly only.

Terrible. I always heard good things and was super excited to try a class. I was 5 minutes late and they didn’t let me in. Won’t ever be going

I am giving two stars, because I haven’t got to meet the entire staff, but as my first time in a Pilates class the experience was not very pleasant. From the first moment I stepped into the class the instructor was very rude, giving such a bad attitude to me and my friend. Let’s point out that finding parking in Hoboken is really difficult. I had arrived on time, but finding parking took a lot. Me and my friend were 10 minutes late to the class and as soon as we step into the class, she screamed at us, told us if we were late again she was not gonna allow us into the class. Let’s have in mind this is a class you pay for this is not a college class or else. They should be aware of the parking difficulties. I recall our instructor name, Brittany, as the class started, throughout it, her indications were very unclear and the assistance as well. I did not feel welcomed neither motivated to come back. I’m not gonna blame Pilates for this, but I am definitely hesitant to come back at least to this specific location.

I’m honestly surprised by the negative reviews—I had an incredible first experience! I signed up right away after my first class. Gaby is not only an amazing person but also one of the best instructors I’ve ever trained with. I love a challenging workout, and this was next level—it truly pushes you! I’m definitely feeling sore after yesterday’s class, but it’s 100% worth it. Huge thanks to Gaby—you’re absolutely the best!

As a first-time Pilates student, my experience with Brittany O during the Sunday 12:10pm Intro class was deeply disappointing. She came across as rude and condescending, which aligns with concerns expressed in other reviews. The environment felt unwelcoming, which is especially disheartening as someone who works in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and coach for five consecutive years. It is unprofessional to speak to people who are paying a very pretty price for one single workout, in the manner she did. The workout was unstructured, Brittany seemed uncertain about the flow of each block, frequently changing exercises and improvising toward the end. I had hoped to enjoy this class and include it in my own training regimen but unfortunately, I left feeling discouraged and dissatisfied. I do not plan on returning to this location.

Please aim to improve customer relations, People come to studios like this to better themselves mentally and physically, and should be lead by teachers with positive energy and intent- not in the way Britany conducted her class. The blonde lady at the front desk was very sweet &nice otherwise!

I tried Solidcore for the first time right before the holidays and my first impression was "dude, this class is insane." You certainly need to have a drive for this type of workout, but you also have to be mindful of the learning curve. Once you understand the flow and routine, it is not as daunting, but still an incredible workout for your whole body, not just the core.

Huge shout out to Coach Desiree who is a big inspiration and the main reason why I continued to come. Her energy, motivation, and adjustments made it all worthwhile and got me excited to return. I can already see huge improvements in my form. My overall strength has increased over time as well. I love her classes and actually look forward to getting my butt kicked by her each week! Highly recommend for those who love to push their bodies to the limits!

There is no parking and staff doesn’t warn you of this before your first class, so give yourself plenty of time to look for parking. No one answers the phone when you call to ask questions, the line disconnects after 3 rings. I told them it would have been really helpful to know this in advance because I would have given myself ample time to find parking and they said “unfortunately we don’t control the parking…. Most people find a spot within 10-20 minutes…”. It felt condescending, and they were intentionally ignoring my only suggestion which was just that they should simply give people a heads up. They were gracious yesterday when I had a different random issue with the class I wanted to take, but seriously why be so dismissive when the only thing I’m suggesting is giving people a heads up on the parking situation… it’s a very normal thing for a workout studio to do.

Solidcore is a fantastic studio with excellent instructors. The classes are definitely challenging, and I had no issues booking morning sessions. The studio is well-run and delivers a great workout experience. However, it is quite expensive, and parking can be troublesome, costing around $3–$4 per hour. While this isn’t the studio’s fault, it would be great if corporate offered some form of compensation. I did the two-week unlimited trial and attended 10 classes, which I highly recommend, especially for beginners looking to build a routine. That said, if you need to drive in regularly, the cost and parking might be a dealbreaker. But if you live within walking distance, it’s absolutely worth it!

They have very shady predatory business practices. Whatever you do, do not ever sign up for a monthly membership!
There is a tiny footnote in the contract that says any membership you sign up for autorenews with or without your consent even after your contract ends. If you buy a 6- month package, they will keep charging your credit card for the 7th, 8th ... month until you realize the "contract" autorenewed without your consent and you submit a claim to stop your already expired contract. And the best part is, they will not refund you for the months that they scammed you into paying. I would strongly caution against buying any 6- month or 12- month membership package.

The Starter50: Intro to [solidcore] is a perfect beginner class! It was challenging, but the pace and instruction was perfect for learning. I loved the vibe/ energy of the class and Val was an awesome teacher!

We love this studio!

For whatever reason they have A LOT more classes than your typical studio (like 8 on Sundays too) and there is usually space if you book 1-2 days before. If you book in the day expect to get the later time slots

Overall, it’s what you expect with epic instructors

We have established “solid core Sundays” at home and always make a point of coming
