A little background and hope this helps other women going through postpartum anxiety and or depression:
I took over a 3 year hiatus from the gym and from being consistent with my workouts. I had 2 children within that timeframe and I had put my own health on the backburner to make sure my kids had what they needed and wanted.
But with postpartum and being a stay at home mom, I felt like I was missing something. I felt a piece of me disappeared, I felt a little depressed and CONSTANTLY fatigued. I looked forward to the times my boys would take their naps so I could nap too. I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin. I knew exactly what I needed to do, it was just really hard to actually do it--get back into being healthy again. That included exercise and proper nutrition. I had lost a lot of the baby weight already, but I knew I couldn't continue to eat the way I was and have leftover kids snacks for my meals and processed garbage. I needed to be sure I was fueling my body with healthy and whole nutritious food for my goals. I decided it was time to just stop making excuses and start doing something about it. I started dieting and exercising on my own, walking with the kids in the jogging stroller, tracking my meals in an app, weighing and measuring my food and I lost some weight.
I saw an advertisement for Station Athletics while scrolling on Facebook one day. It was an ad for a FREE 6 week challenge that consisted of workouts AND a diet plan!! Well, where do I sign up?! I was intrigued. I went in for a consultation with coach Dave and instantly felt welcomed. He sat with me and went over the plan and listened to my goals. I joined the challenge. And it was definitely a challenge but it was so FUN! I am brand new to the crossfit world so I was nervous but I was guided through this 6 week journey with the support of the awesome and motivating coaches AND the members. Coach Nast would be in contact with me and was always so supportive and helpful. I really appreciated it. It was nice to feel understood. I looked forward to my ME time and loved the feeling after a good workout (even if I had to modify exercises).
I surpassed my goal that was set for me at the consultation! I lost 17 lbs and 4 percent body fat within those 6 weeks and I now have more energy and feeling better emotionally. Since my second child has been born, I lost over 60 lbs and I have these awesome coaches and the other members to thank for being part of that.

There are lovely people at Crossfit Roseland.
Last night my car broke down on Eisenhower Parkway at the light by the plaza where Crossfit Roseland is, and in the freezing cold these people ran out and pushed my car into the parking lot and got me and my car to safety. With my car out of the way, I was able to wait in the Dunkin Donuts there instead of in the freezing cold for help in my dead car.

I’m a beginner at CrossFit, so starting out was pretty intimidating and nerve-racking. But the environment at this particular location has been nothing but welcoming and positive. The staff and coaches are very helpful and attentive to each and every individual’s needs. There’s also plenty of space and equipment. I’d highly recommend this spot for anyone at all levels.

I recently completed 6 weeks challenge and couldn’t be happier with both the result and experience. Combination of meal plan and workout regimen helped me to lose 16lb weight and 6% body fat, the entire package is very well designed. Coaches are very knowledgeable and attentive, always help with form correction or modifications during classes. Highly recommend this challenge if you want to jump start your fitness journey or take it to the next level!

If you’re looking for a gym with an awesome atmosphere this is the place to go. When you don’t understand an exercise they take time to explain it and make sure you fully understand techniques. Best crossfit gym I’ve been to!!

Didn’t have a great experience...they just seemed to busy and occupied to explain how to do some of the exercises as I was new and had never done any of the Crossfit workouts. BEWARE of there contracts , I only went 4 times and wasn’t able to cancel without paying them 800-900$ ridiculous!

Beware! I went to look at the gym and ask questions and I explained to them that I would be working out and going to work so it was important for me to have a place where I could shower and get changed. They told me that was no problem because they had mens and womans locker rooms just as any ordinary gym, but they did not let me see the locker rooms. When I went the first day I understood why they didn't let me see it. They have a mens and womens shared locker room that will only fit one person at a time! so after the workout you have to wait for others to take there showers and get changed in order to take a shower and get changed! The worst part is that they lied to me in order to get me to sign the contract. Not just that, they assured me that I would have a personal trainer who would call me and motivate me to go to the gym. That was another lie! Then, when I told them that this was not what I had signed up for they said too bad you have to pay us anyway even though I was never able to use the gym! When I refused to pay I received a letter from their lawyer saying that they would sue me and ruin my credit if I don't pay them 6 months gym time and a 150.00 cancellation fee!! I am currently seeking a lawyer to defend me and file a countersuit against them. Please be very wary of these people and their false claims.

Enjoyed the challenge class a lot it gave me a good workout and a good foundation to build upon. Unfortunately their pricing for the regular membership was a little bit higher than the Crossfit gyms in the area and needed to find a place with more competitive pricing.

I was completely new to Crossfit when I signed up for the 6 week challenge program. Although I was intimidated, the coaches made you feel comfortable and explained each exercise before you were to start your rounds. Jen and Brian were great in monitoring form and correcting you if you were performing the exercises incorrectly, which I appreciated. I ended my 6 weeks losing over 4% body fat and gaining 2 lbs of muscle. Being a strict runner, I now incorporate what I've learned into my weekly exercise schedule and I'm still maintaining the meal plan we were given. If you're looking for something to challenge yourself, this is definitely it.

I recently completed the 6 week Challenge Program at Crossfit Roseland and had an amazing experience. I was able to hit the goal that was set for me by the trainers and I actually lost 4.5% body fat on top of losing 11 lbs. The classes were intense but diverse and refreshing for me who is someone who has previously done marathons. I liked that no class was the same and the trainers were helpful in coaching and teaching proper techniques for the exercises. I would highly recommend this program and this location. I had never done Crossfit before and will continue to do it post challenge!

While scrolling thru my FB page one morning I came across the ad for the 6wk challenge.. I work near this location and drive past it a few times a week and admit , I was curious but intimidated. So when this add showed up ,, I thought - could I actually do this?? Then i thought .. What do I have to lose ? Met with Mike and what can I say... He seemed to know where I was coming from and what i was looking for WITHOUT the hard sell ...So, what I heck I went for it! Honestly this reaffirmed my belief
.. You really get out of it what you put into it . If you follow the diet and work outs - its absolutely doable! This is my last week and honestly - I am amazed . Down 13lbs and 5% body fat -these results from someone who has never dieted . Yayy me !!
One of the BEST things about CF Roseland is the staff... Andrea is always at the front desk ready to answer questions and offer suggestions. Chris is always there to make sure your technique is right and easy to talk to .. I feel great and comfortable with my body again . Which was something I'd hadn't been in a long time! Grateful and so happy I took that first step.

Crossfit Roseland is truly a special community. Coaches are friendly and professional. Members are friendly and genuine. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity -- in gender, age, nationality, race, you name it. As long as I'm in the area, I plan on working out at CF Roseland.

I recently completed the six week challenge at Crossfit Roseland and I have to admit it was the best gym/workout regimen I’ve experienced in my life. The trainers/coaches were very helpful disciplined. With the help of the trainers I was able to stick to my meal 🥘 plan and reach My goals. Sticking to the meal plan is the key to success for any workout. I would recommend EVERYONE who wants a to be fit for life go Crossfit Roseland and get the experience of a lifetime. It’s a real Family community atmosphere.
P.S. I plan on returning in the near future. I got a nice flow going and plan to continue. I LOVE This place.

I recently completed the 6 Week Challenge at Crossfit Roseland. I must admit that I was initially very intimated and nervous as I'd only heard of how tough Crossfit was. However,
with the help of Chris' meal plan and intense but not impossible workouts by Drew and Brian, I was able to achieve my goal. Lost 10lbs, gained 1.5lbs of muscle and lost a whopping 6% body fat. I feel AMAZING!!! Most importantly it has jump started my fitness journey. I would absolutely recommend Crossfit Roseland to anyone. The overall energy of the environment is very friendly and welcoming. Love this place!

I never take time to review business unless the service is terrible. Today is completely different. The atmosphere at CrossFit Roseland is upbeat, welcoming, challenging, and generally FUN. I joined the 6 week challenge the gym offers and have been nothing less than ecstatic about my results. In 6 weeks, I’ve lost 9.1 pounds and 4.7% body fat. Chris is super encouraging as well as accommodating when it comes to the meal plan and dietary restrictions. Brian (my fav trainer) kicks your butt and makes you give it your all at every workout. He doesn’t accept I can’t but will give modifications so you feel satisfied at the completion of each day. CrossFit Roseland will give you tools to help you succeed. It is up to you how bad you want the results.

For the last ten years I’ve only focused on bodybuilding and weight lifting exercises. The Crossfit roseland 6 week challenge was a nice change of pace. I was able to lose approx 13lbs and 6% bodyfat in 6 weeks. The program as advertised is free and afterwards they offer specials for those who want to join long term. Workouts are geared toward each individual fitness level so everyone can go as hard as possible and not pressured to lift heavy weights if unable too. The gym is clean and very spacious. The trainers are well educated and very personable. The others in the program are also very nice and I made some new friends. I was always a gym guy who made fun of Crossfiter workouts but now find myself more ripped and joining a long term program. I recommend everyone to give it a shot!

I recently completed the 6 week challenge. These guys will work you and if you don't feel like your getting the most out of the challenge exercise they will customize a workout plan that fits your needs. Great coaches, great system, drink water! 16 lbs 5% body fat in 6 weeks and I was already in pretty good shape...can't beat the intensity, especially with core days!

I was in a bit of a fitness slump and decided to sign up for the 6 Week Challenge at Crossfit Roseland. It was the best decision I ever made! I am more than pleased with my results and it helped kick start my fitness journey. The workouts are awesome and the meal plan is so easy to follow. It was amazing. Went to a 7am workout on Monday with marquan. I was so intimidated by crossfit, I played sports in college , but I knew this would be much different. I struggled through the entire class, but marquan and the other people in the class were nothing but supportive and marquan had no problem modifying my workout so as he puts it "wouldn't lose me". It was such a great first experience and I can't wait to go back with my fiancé! 🙌🏽

As a former college track and field athlete it's nice to see there are avenues to stay competitive and have support. Crossfit is tough by nature. It is full body workout. However, the workouts or any weight used can always be modified to suit your needs. It's refreshing to be at a place where the staff genuinely cares about you. It's absolutely exceptional to have a support system whether you are an athlete or not. It's about healthy active lifestyle. If you want to be a part of a group no matter what skill level and be around people to inspire you and actually work with you then this definitely is the place for you.
