I've been training at this gym for three years and it’s easily one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness. The strength training program is incredibly well structured—challenging but doable—and the coach, Mike, actually pays attention to form, which makes a huge difference. The boxing classes are intense in the best way possible. Great energy, great technique, and an amazing workout. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun, motivating, and never intimidating. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get stronger, learn real boxing skills, and stay consistent.

Training with Mike and the ladies at Strongher is truly a game‑changer. I've been a member since August 2022. The workouts, whether a group class or personal session, are always challenging, never boring, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming.

I started training with Strongher (Mike) about a year ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was previously training at a different fitness facility and involved with Taekwondo to achieve my goal of building muscle, but unfortunately not seeing the results I was hoping for. Mike has taught me so much in the last year as he is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and performing the exercises with correct form and cadence to improve overall efficiency. Mike creates an environment of confidence and pushes me and this awesome group of ladies to achieve daily/weekly goals while also emphasizing doing the exercise movements safely and effectively. Mike also takes the time to understand your individual needs and and his encouraging attitude creates an environment of support and bonding! The workouts are fun while challenging and I always feel accomplished when a training session (class) is completed. Overall, I've noticed a significant increase in strength, stamina, and overall muscle growth, and moreover confident in my fitness abilities than ever before. If you want an amazing workout that actually will deliver results, training with an incredibly supportive group of women, I highly recommend Strongher as you will feel inspired to always "do better" and to love your body!

I’ve never stuck with a gym longer than 4 months before strongher. That being said, I am proud of myself that I have been a member since 2021 and it’s because of the trainer. Mike watches to make sure your form is perfect, which is why I have left prior gyms. It’s a group class with 1:1 attention. He is always taking classes and researching new and different exercises geared towards women. I am in my 40s and on my feet all day, so sometimes my body hurts. He will modify any exercise to suite you and alleviate strain in those areas. Secondly these ladies I work out with are so supportive and encouraging from all age ranges. I can’t express how happy I am to have found this gym

TLDR: Try StrongHER if you are looking to build functional strength at a cool gym, with an awesome trainer, and fabulous group of women.
StrongHER is a great choice if you want to get fit and build functional strength. I've been going since February and have really enjoy it! After years away from the gym, it took me a while to commit to attending a class and am so happy I stumbled into this gym! This will sound cliché, but I attended one class and immediately signed up and have been going ever since.
People: The group of women are so incredibly welcoming and supportive, and you’ll meet ladies who have been attending close to a decade! The environment is *actually* fun, inclusive, and encouraging.
Gym: The facility itself is impressive! It’s what first caught my attention. The gym is spotless and equipped with just about every piece of equipment you could need.. And if you’re lucky, Doris might be in class.
The Workouts: Mike does such a great job tailoring exercises, offering plenty of modifications, and truly cares about your experience and wants to make sure you feel comfortable. He does a great job putting together a schedule and routine that ensures we’re getting a well-rounded workout. The most important thing that I would like to highlight is that I always feel welcome to ask for clarification or request adjustments, even in crowded classes.
Results: Since switching to strength classes and attending regularly, I’ve noticed and seen real improvements. I highly recommend strength training to improve your quality of life at any age. Personally, I’m excited for the continued progress these classes bring. As always, consistency and commitment are essential.

I started personal training with Mike after taking a few group classes. This gym was exactly what I was looking for, it’s such a welcoming atmosphere. I do a mix of strength training and boxing with Mike and I would describe it as challenging BUT doable. I’m new to strength training and it’s great to have someone walking me through how to do the exercises with the right form.

Ladies if you want to gain strength, challenge yourself and meet some pretty great ladies this is the place. Mike is an excellent, professional and knowledgeable trainer and in my 2+ years of working out here we have never done the same workout twice.

I have been at this gym for a little over a year and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have done martial arts for over 20 years. After an injury I struggled to get back in shape. It was difficult in the beginning but Mike is very knowledgeable. He worked with my setbacks by swapping different exercises to get me to my goals. Strength training has really been a game changer. I cannot recommend that strongly enough especially as we age. The women is these classes are so encouraging and supportive. This is a wonderful community to join.

This gym is full of motivated, skilled, and dedicated women of all ages who lift each other up in and outside of the gym! I’ve been with Mike, the trainer, and the gym for over two years and I’ll never look back. This is a great community for any woman in the greater Morristown area!

This is my 7th year being a part of this gym and I have been hooked from the start. Mike is a great trainer and really cares about the class. The workouts are fun, challenging and all adaptable to your fitness level. The best part about this gym is the group of women. Everyone is kind, encouraging and pushes each other in a positive way. It’s an incredible group to be a part of and coming to the gym is the best part of my day!

I cannot recommend this gym and trainer highly enough. This isn't just a place to work out; it’s a supportive, empowering community focused entirely on building real, measurable strength for women across all stages of life.
Mike, the trainer, manages to expertly tailor the classes to meet the needs of a diverse age range. The programming is challenging, safe, and effective, ensuring everyone is progressing at their own pace. He is fantastic at keeping the workouts fresh and engaging, so the classes are never boring or repetitive.

This is really the best place to workout! I have been going to this gym for 2.5 years and have loved every minute. While I’ve done kickboxing before, this is the first time I felt like I was really learning technique. Mikey is a great teacher and really patient while also pushing you to do more. I never wanted to weight lift but now actually look forward to classes! At the risk of making a pun, I have never felt “strongher”

I can’t say enough great things about this gym! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and supported. Mike Hansen is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely cares about helping each woman get stronger — both physically and mentally.
