Worse customer experience I’ve had this year walked into the studio and spoke with an Asian lady who was very disrespectful and had a nasty attitude towards ne. It’s a shame that such a beautiful facility is Operated in such manner I would not recommend this facility And hope necessary changes are made to ensure the quality of service.

I attended the Intro to Hammock class with the instructor Sarah and had a great time - hoping to go back for another class soon! This was so much fun that I was a little sad when the class was over. Even the moves that were a little too hard for me to do were enjoyable during the struggle lol

Joe Shmoe is such a vibe!!!! I live in DC and will occasionally travel to NJ but when I do, it is for his class! Warm ups are very thorough and deliberate with lots of engagement cues and explanations. I love the freestyle cues that bring my attention to the details of my movement and his choreo is always so delicious! Again, Joe shows his expertise and depth of knowledge with his cues and is prepared with modifications! Studio Air as a whole is definitely on my list of home away from home studios and I cannot wait to visit this gorgeous space again!

Had such a great experience at studio Air! Booked for Aerial yoga and it was a no brainer to buy the package! The class was fun, challenging but very easy going at the same time. Natalie was great! Her teaching style is very beginner friendly but you will be doing things you thought you couldn’t do, I loved that. 10/10 recommend ❤️

I have had the pleasure of taking their beginner aerial hammock class as well as their intro to pole class and both have been incredible! I can’t pick a favorite! It is such a great way to bring the fun back to fitness. The owners as well as the instructors are all so welcoming and the studio is beautiful. If you have never done something like this before I highly recommend Studio Air, they’re the best!

I had an incredible time at the Intro/Beginner Hammock class at Studio Air! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive. The space felt feminine, safe, and beautifully designed to put everyone at ease. The instructor created an empowering atmosphere, breaking down each move in a way that made it fun and easy to understand, even for complete beginners like me. The entire experience left me feeling uplifted and confident. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to explore aerial arts in a nurturing, encouraging, and empowering environment!

Awesome studio! I’ve been taking intro sessions with Ling and she’s amazing. Super encouraging and down to earth, patient and always happy to explain and demo moves. An absolute rockstar. The day after every class my muscles are so sore! Killer workout.
Small class sizes makes for a personal experience and easier to learn. The staff are very friendly and great at what they do! Looking forward to continuing and trying other classes here!

Love love love the new studio space, the ceilings are so high, and perfect for all moves. Their rigging system also allows them to quickly and easily adjust the height if it’s too high or too low for you, and they’re always willing to if you ask! The place is clean and beautifully decorated, everywhere you look, you find another elegant touch! Owners/managers/staff/teachers are all the nicest people you will ever meet - they accept everyone into classes and treat you like a friend. It’s truly a welcoming and comfortable environment. They make you feel like you can really be yourself and give it your all without being embarrassed if you’re not able to do something. They’re always willing to help modify moves or conditioning so that it’s tailored to each student. I always leave with a smile on my face, and usually a new friend or two!

Studio Air is a dream studio for anyone looking for a new type of workout! I am very new to pole and the instructor, April worked with the entire class (as it was an intro class) to ensure proper form and safety. Hey playlist was fire too! Beautiful space & easy to find parking the garage aside of it (a little over two hours of parking was only $3). April was a great instructor, making sure we knew the basics before we moved on to new moves. The choreo at the end was fun and made us feel like we were actually dancing (even if we weren’t masters of the moves!). Will definitely go back for another class!

"Wow, just wow! 🤩 I'm still buzzing from Joe's Split Silks class! 💥 Joe is an incredible instructor who expertly pushed us to new heights (literally! 🌟) with his challenging conditioning training. I felt empowered and confident climbing the silks in different ways - a true breakthrough!
But that's not all - Joe also taught us how to tie a "knot" with our feet for the splits, which was a game-changer! 🤯 I love learning new skills, and Joe's clear guidance made it accessible and fun.
What sets Joe apart is his exceptional teaching style, patience, and enthusiasm. He creates a supportive environment that makes you want to push yourself and try new things.
If you're looking for a class that will challenge, inspire, and leave you feeling amazing, look no further than Joe's Split Silks class! 🌟 Sign up, show up, and get ready to soar! 💪"

Amazing studio for all types of aerial classes (i.e., hammock, silks, lyra, pole, and flexibility)! I've taken classes with instructors Desiree, Sarah, Jamie, Xio, Izzy, and Linda, and they are all incredibly talented, kind, and encouraging. They accommodate all levels--including beginners--and make sure the students feel supported, safe, and confident!
The new studio space in Bloomfield is also beyond gorgeous. The equipment is really high quality, the ceilings are super tall, and the space always clean. I'd recommend the studio to anyone looking for a new way to build strength, join an awesome community, and have so much fun in the process!

I am new on my aerial journey, but this is the prettiest studio I have ever been to. This studio is a whole “vibe”! My first instructor with hammock, Cindy did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and safe while going over the basics. I was very nervous to take a flexibility class since I have always been inflexible since I was a child but Izzy was a great instructor. I really appreciated the encouragement not only from Izzy but from the class. Instructor April continued the trend of being a great teacher and bringing laughs and smiles into class. Overall, I’m very happy I found this studio. Street parking can be tricky. I usually use the parking deck right behind the studio which is about two dollars.

I went to one class previously that was agreat experience the instructor gave everyone equal time so that everyone could get something out of the class even the beginners. The class I went to last night was not the same instructor while nice gave her attention almost exclusively to those already familiar with her class while I got a few words before she was running back to the other girls who didn't seem to need assistance. I struggled the way i think any beginner would but had it not been for my friend I wouldn't have done much. It wasn't till I decided to not participate anymore that she Finally attempted to give more than 5 seconds to me. Again she was nice if that's how she teaches then fine but after I specifically asked if the class was beginner friendly and being told yes that wasn't my experience at all. I don't need handholding but time and actual instructions would have been nice. Again nice lady just not as beginners friendly as she may think she is. I genuinely felt excluded up until she saw I no longer wanted to participate.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I bought the 8 class pass promotion they were running a little over a month ago and it’s already gone. I had trained in NYC before but it had been awhile, and also I was never like, spectacular at it. However, the instructors at Studio Air are really patient and knowledgeable about their craft; I can’t believe how much I’ve improved. Shoutout to Linda, the owner/pole conditioning teacher who has been very helpful, and MASSIVE thanks to Anna, the PM Level 1/2 instructor who is seriously a pole genius.
Moreover, the people who go to the gym are so nice! The group is super welcoming; sometimes we socialize after class. The location is temporary (DFIT by Walnut St Station) but for me it could not be better. And the results are undeniable! Can’t believe how much fitter, stronger, and more flexible I’m getting! (I’ve lost some weight too, but it’s been in inches, not pounds.) If you want to get fit and have fun with some really cool people, this is the place! Needless to say; this month I splurged and got the 10 class pass. 😎

I purchased 2 tickets here in 2018 for my best friend and I. I unfortunately do not recall the date of expiration as this was 4 years prior but my friend broke something in her foot and had a cast so of course we could not attend this studio. I eventually moved out of state and moved back to the area so I contacted the studio through email/voicemail multiple times to extend the time as we would not be able to use the studio. COVID happened and I believe the studio closed down in 2020. It's 2022 and someone finally decided to contact me years later and offer a handsome $15 surcharge for each ticket. I found this absurd as it took 4 years to get back to me and they want me to pay on top of the tickets when I tried to do my due diligence and contact the studio prior to expiration knowing that we would not be able to use the studio. Luckily there are plenty of other studios who are actually professional.

I have worried about trying out an aerial and pole class, despite really really wanting to. This week I got to try out my first class, "All Things Back Bendy" needless to say I'm impressed. I actually almost completely did a back bend, which I didn't think I could. When I identified my weak points, the instructor, Missy, did an awesome job of encouraging me and pointing out how to build the strength I needed. I love the atmosphere of the studio and the friendliness of everyone. I hope you've figured out from reading this that I'll be back. Embarking on a new form of strength like this can be intimidating, but be sure that the instructors will guide you to the right classes and techniques to learn!

I have been coming here for over 6months and have loved every moment at the studio. The instructors are so amazing! They are very attentive to every students level. They also give great advice to better your ability, as well as help challenge you. They definitely help to achieve goals you have for pole/silks/Lyra/flexibility. I've tried a few different pole studios, but I've fallen head over heels with Studio Air. Yes, they offer non-pole classes like dance, Silks and Lyra, but my focus in this review is pole fitness. Rarely will you find so many versatile pole instructors in one place. Each instructor exudes their own style, so you'll have every opportunity to find your own in the process. These incredible instructors break down each move so that you will learn based on your own individual skill level. Strength conditioning, core control, liquid motion, pole flow, floor play, inverts, tricks and spins: they literally have it all. Age, shape, size, gender; none of that matters at Studio Air. I've made more new connections at this studio than I have anywhere else during this pandemic. Incredibly COVID-compliant with the number of students per class based on the space, reasonably priced classes based on the epic content and skill provided, and beautifully inclusive to help you reach personal comfort and confidence. Busy schedule? No problem! Studio Air offers a multitude of classes and time slots on a weekly basis. Just make sure you sign up for classes in advance because they book so quickly! Forever a fan, and so grateful to have found such an amazing studio so close to home. Find your happy place at Studio Air!
Disclosure: This review is my honest, personal opinion as a student who sincerely loves her studio. I reap no benefits from writing this review. I really just want to share the love.

It was ok, I was signed up on two classes a while back. Instructors are nice I guess. It is too pricey though, I can’t afford it, I wish I could, but what do you expect from a place in Montclair. Along with this, I decided to not go back after a bad experience one class. There was a new student and this woman was very mean and shouted at me for not understanding something that was when we worked in a pair for an exercise. The instructor did not really care or do anything and I decided to leave. I am very young and this lady who shouted at me must’ve been in her 40’s or so. not appropriate...Also you don’t really learn much since everyone takes advantage of the poles and everything else, and when you’re shy it’s a bit awkward.
