I recently started my fitness journey and chose TEST because I wanted a welcoming environment with real people. From the moment I walk in, I am greeted by either Donna, who is wonderfully helpful, or Stacy, who has the kind of warm smile that makes you feel like you already belong there.
My introduction to the gym was calm and clear, but also inspiring. I decided to work with Spencer as my personal trainer and he has been exceptional. He took the time to assess what I needed and built a program that fits me. He knows how to challenge me without overwhelming me. Whether we are in a session or I am working solo, he always checks in, says hello, and offers encouragement. He celebrates every milestone, even the small ones that I thought no one would notice.
The atmosphere overall is positive and genuine. People here are focused on improving themselves and supporting others. I am already noticing a boost in my energy and confidence, which feels like a win in itself.
If you are looking for a place where you can grow, feel supported, and actually enjoy showing up, I highly recommend TEST.

While I've been a runner for decades, it's been several years since I've been in a gym. I joined TEST to get back to building strength and becoming more toned. Such a great choice. The staff is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. A huge shout out to Spencer who provided my Intro training to the machines. He was so helpful and provided guidance for proper form as well as provided recommended training for me moving forward.
I find gyms intimidating but my experience now is changing that. I know I've chosen the right place to continue my pursuit of a healthy lifestyle and would recommend them to anyone. This gym is convenient, affordable, and provides the expertise you expect in trainers. A million thanks!

My son, Jamie works with Mike Tverdov at Test on defensive line positional training. Over the last year and a half, Jamie has taken advance of all the opportunities that Test provides: One on one training, Pratt Athlete Training, and the open gym hours. Every trainer at Test is positive, encouraging, and generous with their time.
Specifically, Mike not only provides invaluable defensive line training from his years of collegiate and professional experience, but he has become a role model for my son showing him how to work both on and off the field to be the best he can be.
Test is Jamie’s home away from home. I still can’t believe such a great training facility is so local!

I have been working with Morgan in personal training sessions for a few years exercising and lifting weights. She also works with me if I have an injury or am not feeling well. She is experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. She wants me to improve each week, but does not push me beyond my limit. She also changes my workout as needed. I have gained knowledge from Morgan about training, exercising and stretching.

fitness coaches are attentive and correct posture for a more effective workout. My typical workout started with a 5-600 calorie burn and is now up to over 1000. Fat tissue has been reduced and muscle tone is improved. Coaches typically increase weight and reps at a level I can adapt to. Progress is slow due to my age, but patience is rewarded

This is my middle school sons’s third week of training with Colby and I can already see a huge improvement on the lacrosse field. Colby does a fantastic job keeping my son motivated and engaged. His energy is super positive, which keeps the kid excited about the workouts. The focused training on what needs improvement is outstanding.

AMAZING!!! This is absolutely the best gym I’ve ever been to. Since day one I felt so welcomed, never experienced any intimidation as I have in other gyms. The atmosphere, people, music, the ambiance is just so different, you don’t ever have to worry about others using the equipment for selfies, waiting around for someone to finish up their sets, or other nonsense that goes on in other gyms. The motivation and expertise from every single coach at Pratt is topnotch hands down. I’ve never been a big fan of the gym or working out, however for the past one year that I have been a member, I have grown to love the gym, the programs are specific to my personal needs and goals, and now you can’t get me out 😊 When a program is completed, I anxiously await the next one, love this as I enjoy challenges. Yes you will be sore, yes you may feel as if you can’t do certain exercises, but they are there to help and encourage you. The more you do it the better you will get and feel. Stay focused, practice, and never say never, Yes you can!! This is honestly the best I’ve felt in my lifetime, I’ve accomplished my fitness goals, weight loss, strengthening, toning, and I now love the gym 💯. I adore and have so much respect for every single coach, they are so motivating, funny, push you to do your best, take their job very seriously, and genuinely care for all of the members. They make it their business to ensure they learn your name and will always introduce themselves to new members, even if they are not coaching them that day. Most of all they are very knowledgeable and professional. From the moment you walk in it’s like family, all my stress and worries are immediately gone as I mentally and physically prepare myself for the day ahead. I found the Free burn classes for the month of march through an instagram ad and submitted my information. I was contacted the next day by Jennifer who explained in detail everything about the trial from how it was 80% cardio 20% strength and unlimited classes that we have to sign up for before coming. Today we went for the 6am class with Geir Gudmundsen. Geir led this class with such grace. First time there with my fiance and we felt very welcomed. He explained how the rotations to each different exercises were and how to use each machine we got on. The number one thing I really liked is that we were pushed to do it at our own pace. Though I have a smaller figure, I tire very easily and would like to work on that. It was a great wake up workout. He was also very good at checking in on how we were feeling if he saw we were overworking ourselves. Both me and my fiance work from home and are getting married next month so we are trying to be a bit more active and slim up a bit more before the big day. I will definitely be back

Where do I begin?! I started my journey in May, after a long hiatus from the gym. My only form of exercise was at work, running around a kitchen for 12+ hours a day. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. On my first day I was blown away. The trainers are AMAZING!!!! they let you know you belong and take that nervousness away. The clients are supportive and nice. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my abilities from the first day to now!!! Because it's such a great place, the concept is simple, it keeps you wanting to come back. I absolutely love this place!!!!

I literally tried everything. What’s the hardest for me is my motivation and staying positive through my weight loss journey. With Pratt you are always welcomed with a warm hello, a friendly smile, and a pound handshake. Just that alone keeps me motivated. In April 2022, I made the decision - for the first time ever in my life - to join a gym. I was never the athletic type, but COVID and life’s natural progression lead me to realize “it was time”. As part of my onboarding, I was given the opportunity to experience a 1:1 personal training session with Geir Gudmundsen. That day changed so much for me.
I struggle vocalizing everything Geir has done for me. His expertise, brilliance, passion, and adoration for the field are just the start! When I look at my progress over the past year, I’m a bit stunned. I can’t help but acknowledge that Geir is at the heart of it all. Geir helped me realize my strength and capability. Even though he may not agree, I couldn’t have done any of it without him.
To conclude - I’m forever grateful to Geir. He’s changed my life for the better. I cannot thank him enough for such, and sometimes I feel like ‘thank you’ is not enough.

Classes here are great. Geir’s nice and supportive but also kicks your butt. Just 45 minutes and you’ll be hunched over by the end. Lot of camaraderie and support from everyone. Highly recommend for people looking for an efficient and fun burn. The gym itself is also well-equipped, organized, and spacious with a turf field. Really good gym overall

I had a 1-on-1 with Morgan recently and she was great! She made me feel very comfortable and confident during my workout. She corrected my form and gave me some great tips to improve. As a beginner, 1-on-1 sessions are crucial.
I also regularly go to the small group training sessions. All the trainers are super friendly and motivating. They push me to do my best. I’ve seen a huge change in my energy level since working out here. I never thought I’d ever look forward to working out but now, after every session I just can’t wait to go back!

I really enjoy coming to TEST! Cardio in general isn’t my favorite exercise of choice, however the trainers at TEST really make attending their BURN classes worth while- they are so fun and you always feel great afterwards. All of the trainers are so knowledgeable with fitness and they truly are genuine with wanting to help you meet your physical (and mental) goals. I definitely recommend joining this gym and attending the burn classes- you will not regret it!

We love coming to TEST, and have been coming here for quite a few years. My boys and I have participated in personal training sessions with Geir, Ryan and Morgan, and have had an amazing experience with them. They push us to work hard, but ensure we use the correct form to prevent injury. I also participate in the Burn classes which are excellent, all different everyday and each week, regardless of who teaches, Morgan, Ryan, Geir or Vance, they all run fantastic classes, with great challenges! We have also all utilized Lauren’s nutrition services and for each one of us with distinct goals, the results we were each looking for have been achieved. The environment is friendly and inviting and we are very happy to continue to invest our time and money with TEST.

This is an amazing gym! All the Test trainers are super nice, professional, and they take time out to address your concerns. They are full of knowledge and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at.
As we all know, gyms can be very intimidating. Not at Test! I’ve been a member for over a year, it’s the perfect environment from the beginning. The members and trainers make you feel like you are a part of a family. The atmosphere is so friendly and fun.
I especially love their Burn group classes. It’s cardio/ strength training and the quickest 45 mins workout. I see a big change in my energy level. I highly recommend TEST!!

Love coming to BURN classes here! It’s a nice balance from the weight training I do but I still am able to challenge and push myself every time I come. The staff is always encouraging and it feels like you have your own personal cheerleaders who want to see you succeed. BURN classes are engaging, fun and allow you to work at your own pace. Wouldn’t want to workout with any other group than the staff and members that are here!

I enjoy coming to TEST Sports Clubs as the staff is very professional and motivating. The equipment is clean, and up to date. All the staff are highly educated and experienced in the field of fitness and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. During your workout, trainers focus on your form during the exercise.The owner comes daily and recognizes and acknowledges members by name; a nice personal touch! I have been working with Morgan in personal training sessions for about a year. I never imagined myself lifting heavy weights. But Morgan has pushed me farther than I ever thought possible. She has helped build my confidence along with my strength. She is experienced and knowledgeable. In addition to improving my strength, she has also helped me work through a couple injuries. Aside from being knowledgeable, she is also kind, funny, and invested in her clients. She wants you to succeed sometimes more than you. That dedication and compassion is unmeasurable. The gains I have received from this experience far outweigh the number on a bar or scale.

I really do like this gym... it’s never too crowded, they've got maybe 10 squat racks, dumbbells to 100+lbs, and they have good strong equipment. Everyone is super nice and it’s never too crowded like most gyms, I can always find a rack here. They don’t have too many machines, just the basics. But if you mostly use free weights it’s fine. Price is great and no yearly commitments like retro, crunch, planet.
That being said, PLEASE add mirrors behind the racks so people can watch their form! The only squat racks that have mirrors behind them are in the section that’s for classes and personal training. But the 5-6 racks that the solo gym goer can use, none have mirrors behind them. And it is hard to spot minor errors in form without that, these can make a huge difference in my opinion. There is black painted walls behind the racks in the turf field room, but could easily have mirrors behind them. I get that the back of the field is for classes only, (seems to be their main business model. And I respect that) but it would be nice if the rest of us could have access to those racks, or have mirrors and a real free weight leg press machine. Overall this and golds are the two gyms I like in the area but this would be 5***** if they made that small change
It really wouldn’t be an expensive upgrade relative to everything else they have (rogue racks, barbells, and custom branded dumbbells) but it would make a massive difference for someone like me who has been injured in the past and like to make sure they use perfect form

TEST sports club is one of the best in the area. Its unique set up is conducive to all sorts and levels of training whether you’re a professional athlete, average Joe or a person recovering from an injury. As an in-house physical therapist, I couldn’t be more grateful for an opportunity to utilize the TEST facility in order to best prepare my patients for their return to their own prior level of function.
