Joined the Blackwood location and was excited to try out a smaller gym. It's a great gym for people who are specifically looking for machine based body building but not ideal for those outside that category. The treadmills are facing the wall which is not ideal, and there isn't really room if you want a corner to stretch or do more calisthenic based workouts. I signed up for the year commitment, but paying month to month, and the contract states, "This agreement has a 12 month term obligation that must be fulfilled prior to cancellation in order to avoid any early cancellation fees." To me that meant that I could cancel the contract earlier than than 12 months, but would have to pay a cancellation fee. Apparently not. You can only cancel if you are injured or moving away. I hope in future the owner clarifies this policy in the contract because it leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth to have to pay for the rest of the membership because of misleading statements in the contract. I sent several emails to try to gain clarification and never heard back. It's a good gym! But make sure you are clear on what you are signing up for.

Excellent gym. I've been going since they first opened and the owner is constantly trying to improve the member experience. Almost weekly there's new equipment and different setups. I wish I was told they were planning on closing the Clayton location before joining. I believe their plan was to upgrade and not to keep both locations open. I went to the Blackwood location once and its not for me. I don't see myself going to that location ever. Like who in their right mind have a cold plunged out in the open for everyone to see? No type of privacy what so ever. Treadmill are facing the wall like who the heck want to stare at the wall for 30min to an hour while getting a good cardio in. I joined a different gym and put a hold on payment on this gym. I was threatened they would put me in collection if I don't pay. My contract was for the Clayton location and not for the Blackwood location. You can't force someone to uphold the contract after closing that location to open a different gym in a whole different city. I don't recommend Bunker Fitness at all. Bad business practice on their end. I was first excited joining the gym Clayton location. The privacy and the vibe of a private gym was exactly what I was looking for. The gym was closer to work so after work I would work out, and even on my days off, I was driving 30min just to get a good workout in. I am a hard believer when it comes to supporting small businesses. But this business is one that I won't recommend. Do the right thing and cancel my membership. Thank you

This is my honest review. I have joined The bunker fitness in Clayton 1 month or so prior to them opening the blackwood location. The Clayton location had more privacy when it came to the ice bath. The Clayton location had punching bag and room to jump rope. I have spent so much money on boxing gloves and wraps to just find out that I can't use them in the Blackwood location. The treadmill is facing the wall and is way too close to each other. It just feels weird and uncomfortable. The ice bath is out in the open, no privacy. Unfortunately, I sign up to a different gym closer to me and has everything I am looking for. Even though the gym is open 24/7, the cons out weighs the pros. I can't park in the lot without the worry of my car getting towed. Canceling the membership has been a struggle so I have canceled my card. I never agreed to the Blackwood location. I only agreed to the Clayton location so it is what it is. I know the owner is new to the game but the customers are always right. I am just glad I didn't pay for the yearly membership. The gym now feels more like a public gym and not a private gym. I am happy with my choice

Just moved to Nj from Pa and needed a new home gym. I’ve been out of the gym for a bit and wanted to go back to basics . I walked into the gym and was greeted as soon as I walked in by Joey( One of the owners). This is a 24/hr family owned gym and they put their hearts into it. They have all the necessary gym machines and pro free weights to accommodate both beginner and veterans looking to cut or bulk. They also have a Sauna/ Ice baths 🥶/ and a crypto room for recoveries. I spend way too much time here and you will too. This is where I hide from my family so don’t tell my wife .

I don’t normally leave reviews but this gym deserves more credit than it gets. The owner and staff are some of the most friendliest people I’ve met. If you ever need a spot you can count on them to help you out or will even change the music if you request. This gym is not your average gym it has plenty of amenities for recovery like red light therapy, a cold plunge and a sauna. The gym has a classic theme with lots of modern equipment. I’ve never felt uncomfortable working out here and I go almost every day now because of their 24/7 hours of operation and I’ve already lost 10 lbs coming here. I use to switch gyms all of the time for one reason or another but I got a feeling I found my new home outside of home. I’d recommend this gym to anyone just starting out or really looking to lock into their fitness/ health.

I’ve been to both locations. The Clayton location was awesome so when I heard they were expanding and opening in Blackwood I was very excited! There’s plenty of equipment, some machines that I’ve never even seen in a commercial gym. It’s very spacious. This place is sick! I would definitely recommend. Also, love that they’re super into the recovery process with cryotherapy and red light therapy! Really awesome to see they’re just as focused on recovery as they are on building gains.

I’ve been a member of The Bunker for three years, and it’s been a fantastic experience! The facility is clean and well-maintained, with a wide variety of equipment to suit all fitness levels—cardio machines, free weights, sauna, ice bath and more. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer a quick tip or spot when needed.

What sets The Bunker apart is the community vibe—members are welcoming, and there’s no intimidating atmosphere. I never have to wait long, if ever, for a machine to free up, which allows me to finish my session in a timely manner. The hours are 24/7, which I can hardly find nowadays. As for the price, it can’t be beat! I’ve had memberships at gyms that offer way more than I am looking for and I was paying for what I wasn’t ever going
to use.

The newly opened second location in Gloucester Twp. is huge! So many exciting things still to come from what I’m hearing.
