I have been calling from past 3 weeks almosy everday to register my daughter in swim classes. The front desk keep redirecting me to Dawn on aquatics and she never answers the call. After several followups I spoke with her and she asked me to call back on certain day. And guess what, she wont pick up the call again. I have tried several times in the day and several days after that and gave up. This is very unprofessional and you guys don't respect other's time.

The courts in this club have Zero ventilation. It's hot as a furnace and they don't switch on the AC. The owner must definitely stay with the players in the badminton court for half an hour without AC to feel the difficulty he puts the members in. Its seriously becoming a health hazard for the members.

Both of my kids went to summer camp Summer of 2021. They LOVED IT. I was so impressed with the staff - how transparent they were if there were any issues and how well they kept the kids busy, my kids loved the staff as well. They were great with covid policies and honestly the kid’s stayed healthy throughout the whole summer. I’m so grateful we tried here - we will be back!

do not get a membership here! Laura (the billing supervisor) is a money hungry individual. I had requested to cancel my membership way before COVID in Feb of 2020 due to the fact that I was involved in a MVA. At that time, I was told they can only freeze it temporarily. Then COVID hit and the club closed down. A year and 4 months later I get a monthly charge WITHOUT any phone call or mail advising that they were charging my account. So I call her to ask for a refund because clearly I have not been to the club in over a year and she was very reluctant and even told me she will fight the charge if I dispute it with my bank. Very unprofessional and rude.

The kid classes are basically for entertainment. My son did swimming and soccer and I didn’t really notice them “teaching” him much. It seemed like it was more to keep the kids entertained and occupied. Overall it is a clean facility, you can tell they do a good job keeping up with it just needs to be remodeled because it’s a little run down.

1. Swimming hours for Juniers (under age 17) are very less and odd. Only 3-4 hours on weekdays. Nothing on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday. Juniors are not allowed to swim any morning.
2. Sauna temperature is very high which is not usable.
3. Steam and sauna area are separated from swimming pool. So can't be used after or before swim.
4. For swimming or sketting lessons, they keep kids in same level 3-4 times.

I am noncontract member here at ricochet. Where I pay more monthly. When I wanted to cancel my 1yr old son's membership they told me you have to pay for this month as he is enrolled in the classes. So I paid. Next time when. I wanted to cancel my and my daughter's membersip on the day of the billing cycle she said you have to pay until next month as your daughter is enrolled in class. So I am supposiing according to them kids should not be enrollwd in classes. My question is if kids should not be enrolled in class than y would we enroll them here?? Stupid policy.. please don't waste you time and money here.

I would say totally unethical place for your kids to be part of this club for any sport activities and learning. I had a a very bad experience with the staff and teacher who are totally rude and dis organized. The teacher behaved with my 8 year old daughter so badly that she was left crying in between the class and he was still continuing giving bad remarks. Strange thing is that their level 1 teachers promotes the students to level 2 and level 2 teacher is not satisfied with the performance of the student and gives bad scolding remarks to the child and left her with no option then to cry. This totally misalignment around the style of their teachers and they also dont know that if student is not doing well then they should talk to parents and not keep scolding the student. They need to learn basic behavioral skills i must stay. Can't accept this at all.

I would have given them a negative rating if I could. The club amenities are Ok for grownups, but if you expect that your kid will learn something here, I would suggest you reconsider. My rating is 3-4 star for the facilities, 2 stars for kid's training classes (especially swimming) and -5 ( NEGATIVE 5 ) Stars for their billing ethics.

I have been a member for 14 months, completed my 1-year agreement 2 months back. Due to lack of time, I was not able to use the membership and my son was not interested either so now when I tried calling them on phone to cancel the membership last month, I was told that I can not cancel on phone, I will have to come personally and fill-up a form. Well, also to mention, that I started my membership over the phone, gave all my information, credit card details over the phone and my membership was started :-) I don't understand why It cannot be canceled over the phone.

Anyways, I called them to cancel the membership on 15th May, they told me to come personally. Over the phone, she told that their billing cycle starts from 15th and billing for June has gone already so I can not cancel starting June. I will have to pay for June month, so she suggested me to come before the next billing cycle starts (i.e. before 15th June). I went there on June 3rd. told them to cancel my membership. To my surprise, there was no form to be filled out, the manager went in, brought in a file and handed me one form which she filled up and asked for my signature on that form. I do not understand why this could not be done over the phone.

Well, the story doesn't end here, here comes another surprise. I can not cancel even in June, I will have to pay till the end of July because you can not cancel without giving one billing cycle notice, so I will have to pay for July month as well. I could have been told the same thing when I called earlier, but she specifically told me to come before 15th June over the phone. When I asked why it is so, there comes some absurd reason, that they have outsourced billing, and the billing doesn't allow them to do so.

Well, I was disappointed but I smiled and said thank you. I am pretty sure there is no fault of the manager in this, but of course, the owners are greedy that's why they made such policies to rip off money from discontinuing members.

Also, I would like to highlight the note written on the paper that they gave me which says "You can not enroll your child into summer classes". Wow!!!! Although neither me or my son is interested in the classes anymore, but really, you want my money, but you won't allow us to join summer classes for next 2 months which I am paying for.

Well, personally, because of their shady practices, I would not recommend anyone to join them, If you have no other option nearby and still want to join, I would advise joining the classes first, then if you feel like everything is good, only then go for membership. Do not repeat the same mistake which I did.

The basketball level 2 coach is terrible. Comes late and is always on the phone. He hardly teaches the kids. Very rude staff and no politeness in their speech at all!!
I expected the billing manager to be soft spoken and cooperative but they were actually exactly opposite to that. She has a very bad attitude towards customers if they cancel the subscriptions.
The worst enrollment policies I have ever seen, they literally lock the members and thereafter never provide them slots for swimming or other activities of their choice and charge additional money from members to select slots of their preferences.
Never going back to this place. I have read other reviews and looks like people go here just because there are no other options nearby.
I would drive extra 10miles but to a better place!!!
I hope ricochet higher management or owners should read these reviews thoroughly and should improve this place and train the member enrollment staff and billing staff to behave respectfully with the customers which is extremely important.

I have been member of this club since so long and the only reason is that there is no better option in this vicinity. It’s not so great, staff is not user friendly most of time but it’s good option if you want free classes for kids. Monthly subscription charges are nominal if you go for three year contract.
In nutshell you don’t have any other option, you will not get kids free classes in YMCA and it can’t be compare with LA fitness etc as facilities are different.

One of the worst worst worst service. Clubs never available. For members they are asking to book online.When I join, that is beginning of the month, they gave me the swimming slot. If everything booked, they can not accommodate for members. After paying $110 per month why should I stand in queue to get club slot Ex: Swimming. But for non-members they give slots. the pool has no filter for air and you are breathing in chlorine the whole time which is a huge health violation! a friend of mine works there and gets sick and has soar throats constantly because of this and their boss the "aquatics manager" constantly curses at them for no reason. the "aquatics manager" and the building owner are married so the place is designed to screw over employees and customers. you should 100% go somewhere else and someone really needs to get them written up for all of their health violations they are purpously ignoring and risking your childrens health just to make more money for themselves.

Edit: also recently watched two employees brag about how much weed they smoked before teaching some "dumb kids" how to swim! Seriously stay away from this place!!

The club admittedly has a good aquatic program but has issues that are painfully obvious. The front desk staff barring a few are extremely rude and frequently exhibit a highly condescending attitude. The management touts the 8 guest passes valued at $120 when they're luring you to sign up for annual commitments, but conveniently choose to omit the fact that you can't bring the same guest more than once in a 3 month period. This policy is not stated on the guest pass or on the sign-up sheet that the guest signs when he/she comes in as a guest. On top of this, the front desk staff has the audacity to claim that they explained this policy to my guest when she was not even the person who gave him the sign-up sheet, and was working on something else. The club closes early on weekends, and folks don't care about the numerous kids who run around without being members. In short, they have an advantage by being one of the only racquet clubs in the area, but if you have the option to go somewhere else, skip this.

TERRIBLE experience with Membership department. Dishonest team. They make it impossible to terminate the membership without making you feel ripped off even after the completion of commitment period.
