I must say I am very impressed how quick this place responds to new beginners. Mike called me personally to set everything up for August 19 and can't wait to see what he and the dojo has to offer. Looking forward to this new journey of self improvement and the way Mike sounded on the phone they real care more about self improvement then just making there money on a newbie. It definitely builds confidence and can't wait to start this class

I am not a typical gym person nor am I a fighter but Since I joined The Institute Muay Thai I have reaped so many benefits!! I have lost over 30lbs, I have become so much healthier- no more high blood pressure, no more borderline diabetes, my numbers just keep improving and I train beside some of the best fighters around. Coach Mike Burke and his team are amazing!! This gym is filled with positive energy which is contagious!! Although this is a gym with world class fighters- there’s something for everyone including fitness classes and yoga and you are excepted with open arms. This is more than a gym, this is a community!! Brought my six year old son here the last two months and have been nothing but delighted with how coach Mike runs the class for his youngest students. A former teacher, he knows how to command their attention and get them inspired. He has several adult student coaches that work with him, and then when you look around and see pictures of some of these students standing in the middle of rings with belts around their waists, you suddenly realize the quality of instruction being received is world class. Mike has fighters traveling the country and competing at the top of their craft, but remains humble and down to earth and welcoming to all skill levels. This is a martial arts melting pot that focuses first and foremost on Muay Thai kickboxing but incorporates standard boxing, yoga, wrestling, and general mma principles. My son has developed incredible skills in just two months, popping off punches and making his parents very proud!!

Where do I begin.....I walked my son into TIMT 2 years ago, he was 9 years old. He had just lost his father the year before and he was a lonely and angry young man and coach Mike never gave up on him. My son not only found a passion for muay thai but he found a second loving family. My son has done a complete 360. TIMT was and still is the best thing to happen to my son. Not only do we have the best instructors on the East coast they also have the biggest hearts!

Our family has been a part of The Institute Muay Thai in Keansburg NJ since they opened the kids program, Little Guy Muay Thai almost 3 years ago.
