I was with Jeff for a few months and each session was so much fun. He pushed me to my limit while still giving me a safe space to talk. When I had a session he pushed me to work out as hard as I could and the results were insane. Within the span of six months I lost 5 inches on my waist which to me I never thought was possible. I would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone who wants to push themselves in their journey of self improvement and who is also looking for a friendly and fun environment to workout in.

I trained with Jeff for 8 years doing small group sessions, one on one sessions, Zoom sessions during COVID and outdoor boot camp sessions. I can’t imagine there being another trainer that is as knowledgable, dedicated, caring and more motivating than Jeff. I moved out of state and miss his workouts and motivation. Jeff Toledo has been training me since August of 2023. The results are excellent. I am an arthritic 72 year old woman with two hip replacements, about 15 lbs. overweight. Jeff worked with me in conjunction with a physical therapist. I started physical therapy about a year and a half ago due to debilitating left knee weakness and pain that I feared would require another joint replacement. I made very good progress in physical therapy but due to insurance rules I had to break from it several times leaving gaps in the treatment of many weeks. That was when I decided to work with a private trainer so I wouldn't lose the progress I'd made.
During the hour long sessions with Jeff, which are usually 2 or 1 weekly, he focuses intensely on my form and the anomalies of my physique. Then he tweaks the workout to challenge me and strengthen weak points in my body. The warm-up is the same at each session but the workout varies each time. The workouts are difficult but doable. I feel energized when I finish. I am impressed that during almost 30 hourlong workouts, Jeff remains fully concentrated on my needs, analyzing my performance and how to improve it. He hones his own skills as a trainer with ongoing professional courses and by earning relevant certifications. I consider him an expert in his field. Jeff is friendly, fun and fair. I highly recommend him to senior citizens with physical limitations. As a result of his work with me I am measurably stronger with minimal arthritic limitations or joint pain.

He’s really knowledgeable about fitness, strength training, mobility, balance and its impact on the human body. He’s able to customize workouts to a wide range of client needs- those already far along in their fitness journey, to those just starting out, those recovering from injury, to those in top form and everything in between. He makes the workout approachable to everyone. The space he has designed is clean and well maintained and has a wide variety of equipment.

I started training with Jeff in May of this year. I never imagined that I would be able to lift weight above 90 pounds. I was worried about hurting myself due to the fact that I have back problems. He always encouraged me with words like “you can do it”, “you are strong” and is very attentive to my posture and form during the exercises and not to mention that he is patient, helped me with supplementation tips, meals, exercises for my back, etc.

Jeff has been my trainer for over 2 years now and he is amazing ! When I went to him I had barely exercised my whole life. Now, he has helped me create a love of fitness so great that I am now a fitness instructor as well.

Besides being so kind and understanding, he’s also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fitness, nutrition, supplements and wellness in general. He is constantly educating himself and incorporating what he learns into your fitness routine. He is also constantly updating his gym and equipment. Jeff really tailors the workouts to what you want and anytime you want to try something new he works it in seamlessly.

I've been working out with Toledo Fit since April of this year. The workouts are virtual and have helped me get back on track with my fitness during the pandemic. Before the pandemic started I was not working out at all. Once I realized we would be home for a while there was no more excuses to get in shape! I first met Jeff when he was a group fitness instructor. He's very personable and made all the workouts fun for everyone. He's also very encouraging to everyone at all fitness levels. As a personal trainer (I've been with him for almost a year now): in the beginning Jeff really paced all the workouts for me and once I became comfortable at a certain level, he'd push me to the next. I see him twice a week (sometimes 3) and each workout is focused on certain muscles and no two sessions are ever the same. Today I am the strongest & healthiest I've ever been and I know with his help he will make me even stronger. Jeff is truly an amazing person and fitness coach. At the end of the day, he's a great friend as well!
