I canceled my.member ship a about two year ago, they didn't put it threw, and then sent me to collections for a membership that I canceled. Dropped my credit score by almost 90 points, and honestly it was a really classy move by the owner.

Nice gym, clean and well maintained. The guys in the management are cool and on top of their work. Space is nice, music is good and the classes are tempting (haven’t tried yet)
Sauna works and showers are clean with soap dispensers.

Cons:
Hours are short, they close relatively early on weekdays and super early on weekends you almost can’t catch it.
Wish they can extend by just an hour more at least!!

Been going to this gym for over a year. Great environment to get fit and reach your fitness goals. For the price I cant complain. I can get everything out of this place that you need. The staff is awesome and friendly. So are the people that you meet. For sure worth it. Ray and the others at the place are super helpful. Check this place out for sure if you are looking for a gym.

By far the best gym I’ve been to. Everything is clean and well maintained. There’s even a whole area in the back to do hiit class and an excersises. Great selection of equipment and staff is great and super friendly. Everyone here is literally like a family. Best gym in this area by far

I just wanted to thank the guys at UFC Gym in Riverdale for hosting my son’s 8th birthday party! Everyone had a great time. We had 25 kids attending and over 20 parents. The adults was allowed to try out the gym equipment and now some of them are thinking about joining. They set up 3 stations with 3 coaches for: Obstacle course, kick boxing and competitions where the gym gave away various prizes for the kids! My son had a great time and so did everyone else. You guys rock! Thank you!!

Me and my family were out with covid for months just recovered in February and returned home. Explained the situation to the staff when tried to freeze account was told I couldn't and had to come in to do that. Obviously wasn't an option. Tried to settle account after receiving collection calls. Finally went in to get it resolved gave them my card to settle account for $100 after verbal agreement and cancel my membership that I have copy off. Now get a collection notice for $287. I call to find out why and the tough lady over the phone was very dismissive and RUDE. Very bad business never had a problem with another gym like this. Many other places to go that offer more and cheaper.

The best gym I’ve been to. No pretentious attitudes or personalities that I had become accustomed to when living in south Florida. Was offered a free session with a trainer; he listened to my weaknesses and immediately corrected my bad form. The members are friendly and I feel like I’m safe and working out with my family witch is, for a person like me, something you just can’t put a price on.

I signed up for a trial membership that was supposed to BEGIN when the facility re-opened for Covid. I was immediately charged the full membership when the facility opened in September. I called immediately upon seeing the charge and spoke to the manager. I told him that I never started the trial and was going to be moving out of state. He said he would take care of it. I did receive the refund for Sept but was subsequently charged again in October and November. I was also charged the annual membership fee!!! Outrageous!!

When I called again, I was told that since I never physically came in to sign the paperwork to discontinue the membership, I would continue to be charged. I explained I was told in September that it would be taken care of. There were 2 very good reasons keeping me from going: (1) We were told not to go to crowded facilities due to Covid and (2) I had moved to SC. He refused to issue a refund. I have also contacted corporate, the BBB, Dana White & the CEO.

UFC Riverdale is a phenomenal gym. The environment is friendly and positive. Anyone who says otherwise is simply hating. Peter and Justin are great owners with consistently friendly attitudes. Working out is fun and easy in a place like this.

Been coming here since they opened and loved it from the start. Huge shoutout to Anthony whom I've been training with for awhile now. He's done an amazing job helping me work towards reaching my goals. I always look forward to my sessions with him because he's attentive to what works for me and knows how to push me just enough for me to not hate him (too much). The facility has everything I need, the classes are great, and the staff and instructors are knowledgeable and very welcoming. Highly recommend

I really really love this place! My son will be 5 years old in a couple weeks and for the past 6 months I’ve been trying to get him involved in some form of martial arts. My son usually would feel uncomfortable about going into a karate studio with a bunch of kids yelling, punching and kicking. After checking with other places the mostly have group classes, I called UFC Gym in Riverdale. Since I drive past the gym everyday and more recently seen them at a Kinnelon Day festival in NJ, I decided to call and spoke to Lindsey over the phone. She’s very knowledgeable and answered a lot of my questions. She told me that my son James would have a trial session with a trainer also named James. I asked my son’s grandmother to take him and when I got there later, James took the time to get to know my son first and within very little time, my son was punching, kicking and doing somersaults. After their session together my son said that he wanted to do it again. I also spoke to another guy their named Rob and discussed that my son’s goal would be to get him involved in a kids martial arts class. But since they don’t officially open until November 15th, we’re taking at advantage of taking private lessons there before their grand opening next month. Thank you so much Lindsey, James and Robert for taking the time to answer all my questions, getting to know my son and for giving him a very positive martial arts experience. I can’t wait to see how much my son will grow with the UFC Gym in Riverdale! Love this place!!!

I work at Target and every day when I come out to my car it has a gym flyer on it. STOP. It’s disrespectful and rude. I actually am in the market for a gym and you’ve lost a customer because of this harassment.
