Horrible agreement when you want to cancel after a year of being a member. They still charge you for 60 days when you cancel. Even if your payment was up to date at that time of cancelation. Very bad business practice. Called home office number and Noone ever answers

This place is a nightmare, avoid at all costs!
We signed up for an 18-month contract with the promise of free months afterward, but it didn't apply automatically. It took several months of repeated conversations with the front desk to finally get it sorted out. The staff in general was okay, but the process was a hassle.
After 4-5 years as members, my wife and I had a baby, and canceling turned into a real ordeal. Despite my repeated attempts via calls and emails, they required my wife to come in person, even while she was recovering from labor. We made multiple trips, but each time it was either the system being down or the right person not available. Eventually, we got it canceled, and canceled my credit card for a different reason around the same time.
With everything going on with the new baby, (and a life that doesn't revolve around me making sure my canceled gym membership is in good standing) I didn't think twice about it until months later, when out of nowhere, I get a demand letter from a law firm claiming I owe nearly $300 in unexplained fees. No prior notice or breakdown; just straight to legal threats. It's disappointing and feels overly aggressive.
Worse still: There was one trainer who made repeated inappropriate and harassing comments to my wife. I reported him multiple times to the front desk, but nothing seemed to come of it. That's unacceptable and made us feel unsafe.
With limited equipment (like just one squat rack) and these rigid, unfair cancellation policies that don't account for real-life situations, Urge Fitness just isn't worth the money or stress. Thankfully, we have family attorneys to handle this, but no one should need a lawyer for a gym membership. Do yourself a favor and pick a different spot with better customer service and accountability.

They will try and scam your children into signing long term $500 agreements with their gym. When trying to rectify the management simply email you stating that all terms were laid out and send you the invoice. How did a one time $10 member visit turn into a 15 month long agreement equating to $500? Management should do better in training their associates on scamming people into lease terms for their gym. Will not be recommending.

If you want a gym that gaslights you as a member, go here! Otherwise avoid at all costs.
You get roped into personal training and then they can’t keep trainers employed and they schedule you when the trainer isn’t available; I’ve been in the training program for 4 months and have not had enough consistency with sessions to yield any results.
The childcare is more like a supervised playroom (they don’t actually take care of basic needs).
They give you misleading or incorrect information.
The customer service in general can give you whiplash.
You get locked into an annual membership right off the bat, and even if you are the most dissatisfied customer, they’ll still keep you locked in.
It seems like the employees are not in communication in terms of scheduling and information.

DO NOT SIGN UP HERE! Sign nothing. I went in ONE time and asked about an hour pass bc their website said you could get a free 3 day trial pass. I called the gym twice while looking up information, left voicemails and no one returned my call. A few hours later following the drop off of my son at baseball practice, I walked into the gym and inquired about the pass. One of the employees told me that the three day pass was only good between certain hours, and it wasn’t during the current time. I asked if I could pay him to work out for the hour. I was stuck in this location while my son practiced. He told me no, but that if I gave him $10, and signed the paperwork, I could become a member and have my first three months free so that I could utilize the gym while my son was at baseball. I fell for it. I gave him $10 and I asked him about the cancellation policy of course… he told me I had to sign up online to get the deal and that I had to sign the paperwork as well. It sounded fishy to me, but in this day and age, with all of the different options available, I fell for it… couldn’t imagine there would be an issue as long as I canceled within the first 30 days; especially since the employee assured me directly himself that there would not be. I set my phone alarm for 10 days and at just about 10 days I canceled the membership through there cancellation voicemail AND email option. My son had decided not to play baseball so I would not be going to that area any longer. The gym is now holding me accountable for an entire membership at over $500. I have contacted them directly on multiple occasions and they refuse to remove this charge. I was there for one hour on one day only, and gave them $10. I did exactly what the employees told me to do and yet they are still fighting me, which is absolutely ridiculous and whoever is running that gym should be ashamed of themselves. Their business practice is unethical and they should be punished. Don’t go there!!!!

Equipment is breaking down and not being fixed. They reduced the non 24hour access membership hours on the weekends to 3hrs now, 9am to 12pm!!! On my last visit the one and only water fountains were not working and that's not the first time that's happened. I guess they don't won't to pay money for a plumber to fix it!!!! That's completely unacceptable.

This gym diminishes the Urge brand as a whole. The equipment is OLD, and is horrible to use.
I love the Edgewater, and Ewing locations. Edgewater was close to my old job. Ewing is close to my house. Owners should be ashamed this gym has the Urge name on it.
Upgrade and remodel this gym, or I will cancel and just sign up for Planet Fitness.
For those considering signing up, do not do it u less you plan on going to the other locations.

Do not even sign yourself up for the headache. They make it extremely difficult to cancel and make it that you have to jump through hoops to cancel. Then they charge you for 2 extra months after you cancel. Then when they took the “last” payment they charged for an annual fee although our membership was cancelled. Me and my husband have barely used this gym and they continuesly gauged as much money as they could by making cancellation as difficult as possible.

Place is nice, but cancelling your membership is exceptionally difficult to the point that I’d advise not opening one, you’ll find out if you open one, just trying to save you the trouble.
This edits added after the reply from Urge. I had to go to the location and cancelled, even paid the 90 day cancellation while there, surprise I’m now getting nastygrams and the membership STILL is not cancelled.
Because I cancelled the 22nd Feb at the location, they billed me on the 24th Feb $20 for a manual payment, thus keeping my membership open after I was assured was closed.
They did the same thing in March, so I’m still getting billed and my 90 day cancelation has reset. Wow.

If I could give zero stars I would! Do not, I repeat do not buy a membership for this gym. I went in person to freeze my membership based on surgery, which I actually should have cancelled. The manager assured me he had it frozen, typed notes in file, only to find The day of my surgery they charged me $300+. I went a week before surgery and he lied, knowing that I would not be able to come back to the gym for at least 4 months. Please do not join! This is a nightmare.

Asked them would I still be able to potentially become a member even if I'm not 24, they said yes... just a little confused how Im able to sign up for a membership but not able to even do a tour or 3 day pass....tried to find this information on the website and couldn't find it at all...

I just love this gym. I don’t understand why all the bad good reviews i understand everything on the agreement and I made sure my email was correct so I could read the agreement when I made it home. I understand that when it’s time to cancel I have to pay for 2 more months even if i don’t intend to use the facility. It’s actually pretty simple to understand. I’m looking forward to working out at the gym it’s very clean and quiet !

I read the reviews about when you cancel your membership and I still went forward with joining. I paid close to $225 to cancel which included the last two months upfront and a whole list of fees that I was unaware of why…. Because they didn’t have my email correct. They had .con and not .com. But ok. Today I’m being asked to pay a 20.00 late fee. For what? I paid two months in advance. No one can explain anything except that I have to pay. I can go on and on, but will stop here. Easy to get in but hell to pay if you try to get out.

They offer you a discounted rate of 10 a month / about 20 off the normal fee for a few months than hit you with a yearly fee of almost 70 to make it back. Than they have you locked in a contract at a higher rate for a year after. Scammer stuff not helping local people at all.

Been going for over a year here, bringing my son to workout. For some reason tonight some employee decided that he was going to show everyone he was a hot shot. So we are lifting weights near the back. 2 other people were apparently doing a 'class' at the far back. We were like 20 feet away from them. not in the way at all, not even close. So this guy tells us to stop and go in the other room. I looked at him like he was nuts because we were literally no where near the micro 2 person "class". So he said we can move or we can leave. So we left. I'll be cancelling our membership ASAP. Sad for the owner, he will pay the price for his arrogant and stupid staff.

If you're not gonna consistently go here, DO NOT SIGN UP. I'm going into military so i just need a couple months to train. They tried locking me in a contract for 12 months. They also said I'd pay $21 for the basic stuff and if I wanna cancel, I would still have to pay the rest of the contract (1 year) even if I'm not using it. Outrageous.

This gym is awfully strange, and I'll get into reasons why. To go over the positives first, the personal trainers here are really nice folk, and are extremely motivational and show honesty and care to their clients, which is really admirable as most gyms have dog water trainers who just want your money and insult you for not pushing yourself when you're literally a newbie.
The big issue I have is some of the equipment here is a little wonky, the plate loaded chest press's left hand side is a half inch deeper than the right, all the while being on the same adjustment setting. My only other equipment complaint is the fact there's two pec decks, but only one calf machine (standing) in this entire gym, why not toss a pec deck and add a seated calf raise? There's no other way to hit the soleus of your calf here because of it, but it's a menial issue as there is ways to compensate for this with free weights.
Great gym otherwise, I signed up online and while many people here are upset over the contract, it was clearly stated to me online that it's a one year commitment. I do see reviews of auto renewal though, so I'll use the contract pay-off option on the website a month or two before my contract is up to avoid any potential illegal contract renewals, but alas it isn't my experience, so I won't count it.
Gotta give it 3 stars, great gym with amazing trainers and I love that there's barely anyone here, really feels like a playground because of it. I just hope they replace/repair some of the equipment here, and I hope the owner can look out for members like myself who are willing to leave a fair, unbiased review. Nothing in this review is clouded from judgements like contract misreads like others had, nor employment. I hope you can appreciate this raw and real review.
Tldr; fix the equipment, make sure auto renewals are off on contracts so someone's signature for one year of sign-on isn't used twice without signed and dated permission after contract date is over, and you guys will be a 5 star gym in no time.

2. Quiet gym, not a lot of people.
3. Great equipment selection aside from some niche potential additions.
4. Really strong security focus.
5. 24/7 7-day a week access for a mere $30 a month, full commercial gym environment, can't beat it.

1. Some equipment is in shoddy shape, needs repairs and work done to fix alignment issues.
2. Potentially shady business practices such as auto renewal on paid-out/finished contracts, but I'm also an online sign-on customer, and not a direct customer, so I can't speak for others, I recommend if you sign up here to sign up online as it's purely URGE corporate, and they have an automated system to pay off your contract + cancel early if you pay off your entire year here.

I joined Urge Fitness almost two months ago and signed up for personal training. Dwayne has really helped me gain my motivation back! He listens to my needs in reaching my fitness goals. He takes his time and never rushes me through the workouts. I like the gym’s atmosphere, it’s quiet and really clean in there. The other staff members are also friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this gym to others.

The personal training at this club is 2nd to none. Since March I've lost over 20lbs, reduced my A1C over 2 points, lost over 12 body fat perecentage points and couting. I havent been this weight in over 10 years! I feel more confident than ever and they work with my husband and daughter too. My advice as a business owner myself, go in and check them out yourself. It doesn't get anymore real than they guys at URGE ❤️

A previous comment regarding trying to cancel your membership is impossible. They tell you one thing and when you do it they say another. I started there a few years ago and I had hurt my knee and the young lady said when I started if I needed to cancel I can either call corporate, write a letter and mail it or come to them with a letter. I still owe them because when I went there to talk to someone to cancel because I couldn't get in contact with corporate someone else told me I had to contact corporate. The trainer was really nice

I was considering joining this gym. Thank God, I read the Google reviews. I will never recommend this gym to anyone Solely based on the reason that they copy and paste the same ridiculously rude response to everyone with a legitimate issue. I’ve belonged to 8 gyms in my lifetime and have never had an issue canceling a membership. What a joke. I stopped in today, considering switching gyms. I asked for a day pass and let them know I was considering signing up. They wanted to charge $30 to try it out for one workout. The gym had maybe 6 people in it on a Sunday morning (positive for memebers, not so great for management). When they push out prospective new members with a ridiculous one day trial fee it’s no wonder they’re empty. I walked out without the employee making another attempt at keeping me in. No tour was offered. Employee had to call her boss to even figure out how to do a day pass. It’s ashame because the place looked clean and equipment looked to be in awesome shape. I will not be returning.

I had a decent experience at Urge Clementon until I signed up for their (mediocre) personal training. Before that, I appreciated the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The person who sold the personal training package to me, Dwayne W., led me to believe that I could only sign up for the 12-month package, even though there were cheaper options available. I’ve since learned that this is a common practice for him and for Urge, as other members have told me that they experienced the same thing. When I politely asked about why he withheld this information, Dwayne got extremely defensive and loud, and he began yelling at me right at the front desk. When I tried to speak he cut me off and would say things like “I’ll tell you when you can speak” and he also said things like “I know what’s best for you”. His voice was so loud and his tone so sharp that other members stopped their workout and started to stare. I wrote to Urge corporate office about this, and they, like Dwayne, got defensive about the personal training situation. Furthermore - and perhaps more importantly - in regards to how I was treated, they simply said that I must have “misunderstood our staff’s sincerity”. It was not a misunderstanding - he was yelling at me and speaking to me as though a child. Seeing some of their responses to other reviews on various sites, I now realize that I shouldn’t be surprised. Dwayne’s behavior is the kind of behavior they condone. I never received an apology on how I was treated, nor offered anything to rectify or amend the situation.There were some other staff members who were kind, like Dave and Janine and Larry - but ultimately Urge as a whole is not a gym I can trust, and I wouldn’t recommend that others trust them. I wish I had read the reviews before giving them any of my money.

Previous member who moved out of the area & tried canceling. Was told I couldn't cancel over phone. Came in person and told I had to mail a letter. Did that. Still charged. Eventually I put stop payment on card. Months later I received a bill for >$300!! Was then contacted by collection agency for same amount. It was a $10 membership.

From the staff, equipment, classes, and personal training sessions everything that is offered and available at Urge Fitness in Clementon has been A1. I have been a member since August 2023 and can say that great customer service and interactions is what you can expect upon both entering and exiting the facility. The staff make it a point to learn your name and provide both support and guidance to its members. Members and class instructors are always welcoming. Specifically Zumba, Cardiokickboxing, Boxing, and Dare to Chair are some of my favorite classes. There is something here for everyone and with the variety in class times accessibility is made easy.

Joined this gym last year and unexpectedly moved only a few months later so I have hardly used it because of time & distance. I have been trying to cancel my account since then and they make it absolutely impossible. Every time I speak to someone they are rude and refuse to try to work with me so that they can keep charging my card. I have been charged for a year and that’s what the contract was for and they are still charging me. And forget about trying to talk to the corporate office. It’s like trying to talk to The Great Oz. Do not consider this gym. There are way better options out there that don’t make you sign a contract that you can’t get out of. Horrible business practices.

I joined here in October and the high intensity Zumba classes on Tuesday and Saturday with Kelsey are my favorite! Her playlists and moves are always incredible! I also like going to the aerial yoga on Tuesday nights with Rachel as well! They offer a ton here and the staff is really nice!

Beware of signing the pin pad, ask for a printed contract prior to signing please. Even the “month to month” plan is a contract. I’ve been trying to cancel the “month to month” training since July and the Family membership since Sept. payments continue to be withheld. Spitefully, I cannot access the 24/7 door pin pad. And even though the private session payments are processed I am told that I cannot schedule a session because none are available on my account. Employees all respond differently when asked for an explanation. Now I must miss a work day because they can only discuss the plan cancellation on weekdays 9-4. There is no transparency, customer retention and the turnover rate is alarming. Also customer service and billing are both handled by third parties. There are much better options available close by.

I joined Urge Fitness in January of 2023 and since becoming a member, I have been super impressed with the personal training and exemplary service I have received.
-Jalana is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and has really helped me to take my weight training to the next level through her consistent encouragement and motivation. She has also helped me with my nutrition and weight gaining goals.
-Bryce is also extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient, and always ensures I understand why I am performing each exercise. He creates time to answer my questions and really goes in depth about any fitness topic/exercise I inquire about. Bryce is extremely passionate about helping people to achieve their goals, in fact, I’ve seen him training other clients and have noticed the amazing effort he puts into each of them with their training! He has also helped me a lot with my nutrition and weight gaining journey.
- I feel very encouraged and supported by both of my trainers and would recommend anyone looking to start or enhance their fitness journey to come to Urge as these two trainers will help you get the results you are seeking! I am not a new account. I have been a member of this gym since 2019. I still go there now.
I like to be left alone when I work out. I go in, I workout, and I leave. I don’t like to be bothered. Their trainers are aggressive and are not very good at minding their own business. There are so many of them it’s ridiculous. I use to be a regular gym rat, but this place has really killed that vibe for me.
So instead of going in the morning we started going at night when the staff leaves, I thought I solved that problem.
They let teenagers in at night that treat the place like a playground. It’s awful. We’ve complained about the potential risks of children using the gym equipment without any adult supervision but they don’t seem to care.
I know you guys think that responding to Google reviews with passive aggressive tones make you seem like you’re a good business but it is incredibly unprofessional. Learn to take criticism, it’ll be good for you.
I loved this gym when they first opened. Small gym vibes with chill staff. The cleaning lady is amazing! But over the years it declined so fast. The teenagers coming in at night has been so troublesome. I wish they would do something about that. I understand family plans but allowing 16yr olds with no adult supervision at 11pm at night is a recipe for disaster.
I know they’ll respond to this and say it’s fake or something else that will try to overthrow my credibility by saying that they don’t allow teenagers in w/o parents etc. but I guess you’ll have to see for yourself.

Horrible horrible signed up for a personal trainer asked for 6 months they put me for a year at $222 per month. Trainers were not consistent every time I went someone quit and I had to start again with someone new. In September I had surgery they would not let me end agreement early not with a doctors note or anything sent a certified letter to cancel . Now February of the following year my personal account was just charged $759 an account that was never authorized to be used for training sessions. I have well past the year that I never actually agreed to when I asked for 6 months. Terrible terrible place - do not do business here . DO NOT sign a thing.

Been a member for 3 years. From the hours of 9-1 this place is the best gym around. However, they must have a program with the local schools because anytime after 1 o’clock the gym become overfilled with kids not even old enough to drive, running around without any supervision.

Called the gym and spoke to some one about personal training they asked me to come in the gym for a tour to see if this "Long term training facility provided the atmosphere to help push and fuel your motivation for ultimate results" after hearing that I had to go to this place !! When I showed up I was immediately greeted Andre he made me feel super comfortable it wasn't that packed neither I thought there would be more people in there it was like 3:00 in the afternoon he walked me around the gym and asked me about what goals I had to accomplish by coming to the gym and he kept correcting me and saying it is not a gym it is a long-term training facility I asked what is the difference he said in the gym it's a place where people don't know you and you're going at these goals by yourself but I urge Fitness we have an infinite support team he said it's like cheers the old TV show where everybody knows your name I ended up signing up after I was introduced to the coaches and seeing how personable this place was I felt like I belonged here it was like a family I'm very proud of being part of urge Fitness and they're very dedicated to helping me achieve my goals

While I have enjoyed going to urge fitness, because of a move I tried to cancel on two separate occasions by going to the facility. Each time I went to the facility I got some excuse that “oh I’m sorry I’m starting a class right now and can’t cancel your account.” Or “Oh you know what you just missed the 5 o’clock mark and so you’re going to have to come back tomorrow.” I drove from Philadelphia to the Clementon location twice. This is ridiculous. Being that it took five minutes to set my account up you can’t cancel? Really people, it’s so low rent that you hold people hostage like this. I would not recommend anybody going to Urge. Try a center not so desperate for you $20 membership.
UPDATE: the gym continues to charge my account with fees and membership dues despite having been told twice by them that my cancellation has gone through. They also charged a facility fee AFTER cancellation as well of more than $50. Please don't sign on to these unbelievable business practices. BBB and NJ Consumer Protection now involved.

Zero stars. BEWARE This place charged me 8 times in November for my sisters membership. Disputed with my card company for their fraudulent charges. $9.99 a month turns in to $16, turns in to $20 turns into $36 ... then FOLLOWS UP with 8 charges in one month over $180 for a BASIC gym membership. This is probably how they keep their lights on by stealing money from members. Shady practices aren’t surprising considering how the owner bashes negative reviews, that’s not a good owner, that’s an immature, condescending old man hiding behind his computer who can’t handle being called out. Joined today. First, I love how real the owner is in the reviews. You don’t need a free day pass to see if you like the gym. They give an extensive tour and unless you’ve never been to a gym, it’s not hard to tell if you’re going to like the gym or not. Also, the cancellation rules are clearly written out in the contract and we’re mentioned by the manager.
The manager and girl working the front desk were very nice and helpful. The gym was spotless, had a wide variety of equipment and wasn’t crowded like all the other gyms in the area.

Just very recently joined this gym and so far it has been great. I was mostly interested in this gym for all of the different classes plus my family wanted to start going to the gym as well. We went to check it out and the Staff was so friendly, personable and so wonderful to us that we signed up that day. I love that they have childcare and love that it's open 24/7. My family and I are looking forward to continuing our health journey with the help of this gym.

I been coming to this gym for almost a year now so I figured I’d make a new review. First of all the interactions on these reviews are wild and I don’t really even know what to make of them😂. The responses from the owner are pretty unprofessional but you do you I guess.
The first thing I’ll say is as unprofessional as this company conducts themselves on here I never had a problem with any of the employees/ trainers in person. I do mainly come after hours so I’m usually not interacting with them anyway but when I do come during the day the employees have treated me with nothing but respect. The older woman that works at the front desk during the day is an absolute sweetheart and always gives me the nicest greetings when I come in.
In terms of equipment they have pretty much anything you could want however being a smaller gym they only have limited space so there aren’t many half racks available making it where there’s a good chance you’re going to be waiting to use one.
I do try to come here after hours to limit the crowds however it does seem like more and more people are getting the same idea and it’s been a lot more crowded when I come at night then it’s ever been before. Not to say this is the gyms fault in anyway but it has made working out here not as enjoyable as it once was. If you’re looking to workout here at night just know there will be large groups of kids 17-23 range that come here for social hour and are pretty obnoxious.
Besides the crowds of obnoxious kids making it sometimes difficult to get on equipment and their cringey behavior taking their shirts off flexing in the mirrors. This gym is still a solid option to train at and still in my opinion a better option then rival gyms like Edge.

I lost SO MUCH WEIGHT at this place. Not just from training (❤️ pushing the sled & throwing heavy ball high up against wall 👍), but from the accountability from my coach.. it seriously made exercise into the thrill of my day. When asking about a daypass to test the gym out, they said they don't offer trials to keep the gym from being crowded, but that I'm welcome to come in and test the gym for $30.
For one day.
They want me to pay 10 dollars more than the normal monthly fee just to test the gym for the day. The person on the phone seemed exasperated having to explain this idiocy, and when I asked if he believed it made sense, he sighed and said the cost of day passes isn't something he can alter, but does understand the obvious lack of consistency.
I came here to read reviews, to see if it would be worth to try the gym out for a few months. After I checked out their online presence, of course. Their website's miscoded, the details on it are sparse, but hey, it could just be that they're focused on the customer experience? But given my phone call, and the reviews I've read, it's impossible for me to go further. I hope they reconsider their online presence, as I imagine many more people are looking at this gym and immediately glossing over.
Given the other complaints of how difficult it is to cancel their membership, it lends to suggest that the day pass, at $30, is still the cheaper way to go. I can't imagine that this place won't be around for very much longer.

If you enjoy spending half your training session taking weight off bars from previous lifters, searching for specific weight plates scattered around the facility and being asked numerous times by trainers to let them train you then this is the gym for you!

I had previously rated the gym at a 5 star; I think this gym has wonderful classes, a variety of equipment and great smoothie bar. This rating is specifically regarding personal training. I had signed up for personal training going on a year now at the gym when I first signed up I had received 3 personal trainers which I wasn’t satisfied with Bc a personal trainer should be one on one that builds goals and relationship through your progress. I did share my concerns and was assigned to one consistent trainer. After having a consistent trainer I was planning on canceling my training session when my contract was over.I mailed in my letter to cancel my personal training in November I never received anything so I assumed that it was received. I followed up with management and come to find out they never received it so had to cancel again. Now in January the 3rd week my trainer quits so I requested for another trainer since I haven’t received training and I’ve been paying for this service without receiving it. I got assigned different trainers but Bc they All quit I never received my training sessions I have 7 weeks of personal one on one that I have been paying and haven’t received this sessions. I went a few times to talk to a manager but haven’t had luck went to talk to a manager again this Wednesday but he was busy teaching a class I left my contact information to the front desk so the manager could give me a call and I still haven’t been able to reach management to get this resolved. As Mentioned previously this 1 star is specifically just for the personal training. Aside from this I have rated the gym a 5 Bc it is a nice gym that as mentioned has a variety of classes, welcome environment and a great smoothie bar.

I wanted to love this gym. I love my trainer so I went to follow her. I had a few medical problems that have since gotten worse. Upon visiting my doctor this past month he recommended I cancel my membership. He wrote me a letter to deliver to the gym along with my own personal letter. While doing this I realized I never received a copy of the contract. I went into the gym today along with my letters and Noel came out telling me what I owed which is over $2000. I was sitting at a table with people on the other side of a plant attempting to discuss my personal medical problems. My email address was entered wrong so I never received any correspondence from the gym ever! He continues to tell me that unless I am deemed permanently disabled I can’t cancel my contracts. He goes on to tell me that he’s worked with people with my main medical problem and that I should be exercising along with physical therapy. I asked again to leave my letters and he would NOT accept them. I asked for his bosses information and was denied that. I asked for the address to send my letters certified mail. I was told there wasn’t one to send to. I was given a generic email address where I have to submit medical documents to. I explained that it’s private and I did not want to send them to an email. I was told the best he can do is freeze my account for 90 days. My March payments have already been auto drafted. This is while I obtain a letter of permanent disability. I email the generic email and was given an auto response telling me to deliver the letter by hand to club or mail them certified mail! Which I was denied by manager Noel. Horrible customer service. I left crying feeling humiliated! I do not recommend this gym to my worst enemy’s. No one should be told by a gym representative what a medical doctor should have me doing. He has no idea how bad my disease is or my other underlying conditions. I filed a complaint through their generic email. I also emailed the other two contacts I obtained after searching all over for. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau. I will be seeing three of my doctors this week and will be addressing how this was handled. Noel refused to even contact my doctor for further information! Save yourself the headache and go to any other gym in the area! Besides they have old equipment from the gym that was previously there.
So I am a liar? My email has always been what it is. I have zero reason to submit a fake email. Maybe your employee entered it wrong. That never happens off of paperwork, ever. It’s crazy how I emailed and received no response. I submit a review and you want to put me down and attempt to intimidate me. Unless you were the one present with my trainer when I was barely exercising and complaining to my trainer where I felt the pain you can’t respond to that either. My trainer is absolutely amazing! I would never say a bad thing about her. I wasn’t given the ability to submit documents in person. I wasn’t given the address to send certified mail. I asked the manager if he would call to speak to my doctor for further information and he refused. My team of doctors know everything I do. I have nothing to hide. I will not be humiliated on social media by what are supposed to be business owners. You lack people skills and socialization which shows on every single reply you give. You try to intimidate customers. You can continue to belittle and bully me and I will continuously reply. You have so many negative reviews. That speaks volumes of the type of people you are.

Honesty the place is just trashy, at night people smoke and vape in the middle of the gym, and when I asked the staff about this they said there is nothing they can do because they come at night.
Everyone I know who has gone there has billing problems.
Also they barely offer anything for the price, there are other gyms within a 10 minute drive that offer way more for the same price!

During covid my billing information changed and nobody from the office had called me to tell me that my payments were not going through. My payments then went into collection without being notified and when I went to the gym to address the issue I updated my billing information so that this would not happen again. What do you know four months later my payments still aren't going through and I'm back in collections. Apparently The person that I walked through my billing information with didn't update my information because it was still wrong. So I will not be going back and I will not be renewing my membership.
Edit: If you need anymore reason not to come here, you'll see the owner likes to argue with people on this feed. They're blatantly lying and what's even more comical is they're willing to air out their consumers business rather than give me a call, which furthers my point that nobody called me about my bill. Their staff told me I could not pay there and that I would have to take it up with billing, so I didn't decline. Otherwise, I would've paid in full.

An Honest Review: This is what a true gym experience should feel like. Personable, genuine, and kind people. Super accommodating during COVID. I signed up a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, training, and overall vibe everyone gives off. This isn’t a franchise of gyms that are just trying to make a buck. Urge genuinely cares about its members and wants to see a person’s growth, not only in their health, but their wellbeing.
Very clean area, wide variety of machines, and a very good sized training area. Boxing, Zumba, Cycling, Smoothies - all available. For the price and promotions, it definitely is something I highly recommend!!

So far so good ! I’ve always been naturally thin so I never really worked out , I’m just starting my fitness journey because I learned skinny does NOT mean healthy! I feel welcomed every time I’ve came in the door and the people that work there seem to genuinely care about how you’re doing and offer advice which is helpful to me as a beginner 😊 I bring my kids and they LOVE it too ❤️ Anthony and Sam were both great getting me started out & they’re both very personable and friendly as well.

Me and my husband sign up at this gym and than I got hurt and can not go back and my husband is a military man that has pstd really bad and two bad knees , after his surgery they told him he needed to move his one knee so we join this gym but that where it got bad nothing really for me to do unless I sat on a bike and at that it makes my back hurt than with the loud radio and all the loud noises Brian’s pstd got so bad we needed to see go see special doctors than they decided they are going to do surgery on his other leg and so we can not go to this gym we want about 10–5 times in the whole the account has been on hold and now they are giving us a hard time it for good reasons . Please be careful they don’t care!

Honestly great gym overall that annual fee is outrageous i got over charged on my account on what i agreed i was gonna pay when i called to figured why i paid 62.68 and 51.10 for my two account was told it was my annual fee and that i still owed 36.00 more dollars to make up the 168.00 annual fee that is insane

Try to come check out the day on Christmas morning. Want to charge 50 dollars for the day. Said if I was really interested in signing up I'd come check it out on a non holiday. High pressure sales tactics

I went to the local giant today and they only charged 10 dollars for the day. I was so impressed with there customer service and equipment I signed up for the year. The one in woodbury is open today all day.
Sorry I couldn't make it up the other days urge requested. I know you guys work as I do too. It just happened to be Christmas and its my only free day.
