Have to change my review - this gym closed before required to, out of an abundance of caution. And it was a great decision. They are extending everyone’s membership expiration date for every week closed, unlike many other places. They also aren’t preventing people from freezing their acocunts. I really respect them. I recently closed my account, but the process was as simple as filling out a one page, maybe 8 questions at most, form. Really great place to workout and do business with.

This place has great potential. It is very clean compared to other gyms and well designed, and the customer service is great. Their maintenance has improved recently, but the general reliability of many things could be better. The lockers have been better, but there are still many that don't work properly. The whirlpool, steam room and sauna often have issues. The lap pool is often tough to get a lane in, but it's a great pool.

Lockheed Martin is across the lot and whenever i'm there on business...I always pack my gym bag. Virtua is one of the finest facilities I've been to and I've been far and wide.
My favorite aspect is the 2 story, floor to ceiling windows, nearly 360° around the upper floor workout area...which is extremely spacious and surrounded by a walking track. You can be on one of the legions of treadmills and looking out over the big sky and setting sun. Fantastic aesthetic!
Whirlpool and various pools also designed with mucho natural light.
Lockheed could not have designed this place better!

I DO NOT recommend this place!!!
They where charging me after closing the account... after SO many calls and no response,, I was able to speak with Megan, who said she had requested a refund and it was not MOT true. Now she created her own story and her supervisor Don supported her.
If you read other messages, you will see DO many similar cases. Frustrating!!!!

A horrible and frustrating experience!!!! My situation is similar to "Dad 2 Twins", one of the comments that appears above.

After my husband's death, I went to cancel the membership I had for both of us ... They continued to charge me ... I went to report it in person at the beginning of this year, and I have not received my refund ... not even a follow up call ... I have called SO many times and left SO many messages!!! I have called Megan, Ayanna Lott, the director of the wellness center ... and today I left a message to their boss (Don), hoping that she will return my phone call, and do the reimbursement process of everything they have been charging since my cancellation.

It is a shame and lack of professionalism and customer care, who have not even answered the calls and follow up. It is also a shame that I had to go through this after loosing my husband.

Loved going here and attending the classes and using the pool. Problem it's expensive and unlike other Fitness Centers they don't participate in the Senior and Fit programs paid for by health insurance companies. I was given a membership for a year and when it was up I had to stop because I couldn't afford the fees. 😑

Enjoying greatly the Belly Dancing class every Saturday, it is a pleasure and lots of health benefits. I was looking for the class of Belly Dancing and this is the only Health Center that has it. Looking forward to every Saturday class and would love to attend it more often! Shamsun is a great teacher.

Unbelievably after joining, including an initiation fee, they announce closing men/women showers for renovation from January 2019 through may 2019!! Really sucks after chlorine pool swim:( Obviously Virtua management does not respect their members!!

Horrible billing department!!! Started out good but then my wife put her account on hold. They said they would charge me a single monthly fee until my wife came back. They still continued to charge me a couples monthly fee. Called head ( believe her name was Megan or Dena) of billing department to get reimbursed and she said she would correct the problem! She never did, instead I walked in one day to work out and they told me that my account was terminated because they could not charge my account on file for three months. There was never an issue with my credit card. Head of billing department never followed up with problem and shows they never really cared and are incompetent!

We love this gym. Great place to work out. Usually not very crowded after 7pm when we go. Plenty of equipment and when it brakes it's usually fixed within a couple days. Well let parking lot, friendly staff, clean locker rooms and plenty of sanitizing stations and water coolers. Lots of classes included in the membership price, worth every penny.

Great, full service, clean facility. Plenty of equipment, several pools, available classes, snack bar, provided towels, well equipped locker room with built-in combination lockers (no need to bring your own lock), and good overall layout (you don't feel on display likes in some of the other gyms I've belonged to). Staff is really good too - I've been there more than once when a member had a cardiac emergency, and the fast, organized response of the staff was so impressive, and really instilled confidence. My only suggestion would be to have the headphone jacks on the cardio equipment serviced - most of them don't work, or provide only intermittent sound (it's hard for me to trudge through cardio without that distraction!). Love that the ellipticals have built in fans! I've been very happy with this gym.

Excellent fitness studio and gym. I have been a member for years now.

PROS: The bathrooms are stocked with mouthwash, q-tips, and other toiletries. The class schedule contains many options including yoga, zumba, tai chi, pool workouts like aqua yoga, and other popular pursuits, and I can say from personal experience that the yoga instructors are excellent for all levels. You cannot join a yoga studio and work out as much as you can here for the same price.

CONS: There are enough members that the cardio equipment cannot always be properly maintained. The cost is higher than most other gyms, although you have to balance out the pros with the cons for yourself to determine if it is worth it. A quick treadmill workout can be done anywhere.

It is a great fitness gym with towels after working out and after getting out of the showers and pool. I enjoy my time working out here, I would say the steam room in the female locker room was broken for some time and some of the showers needed repairing. Although maintenance has been slow, the fitness area has a beautiful wide open window views that are somewhat scenic of the parking lot and trees.

It's a nice place and very clean; however, I like to use the exercise pool and in the last couple weeks it's been closed down several times. Also, today when I went the hot tub and steam room were unavailable too. For the money I'm paying monthly, I expect these facilities to be operating efficiently.
