Its about expanding on the promotion of great health & fitness. Whether it is physically or mentally, having the capability to adapt to each clients needs is essential. Offering the highest quality of personal interaction and understanding is critical to reach individuals goals, both short and long term.

I've separated from mediocrity and those who do not put enough emphasis on the learning process of the development. I am helping individuals become better during sessions and even personal development outside of training. My philosophy is to help you fall in love with the process and reach goals you never thought were attainable.

My daughter, a competitive soccer player, started working with Vinn three years ago to improve her speed and agility. She quickly gained noticeable speed and improved her footwork. During her junior year of HS, she unfortunately tore her ACL. Vinn’s support went far beyond anything we could have imagined. He was always available when we needed him, helped us find a physical therapist, and even attended her very first PT session to offer support. A huge reason for how quickly and successfully she recovered was Vinn’s constant encouragement, motivation, and belief in her throughout that difficult time. When she stepped back on the field her senior year of high school, she was understandably hesitant, but Vinn’s presence and support at her games gave her the confidence and mental strength she needed to compete again. Throughout her recovery and beyond, she experienced additional injuries, and Vinn always makes it a priority to work with her to ensure proper healing while minimizing strength loss. She continues to train with him through her first year of playing collegiate soccer.

Our son has also been training with Vinn for the past two years, focusing on strength training, and his results have been just as impressive. His strength and overall conditioning have increased significantly, and just as importantly, his confidence has soared. Vinn doesn’t just train athletes physically—he builds them up mentally and emotionally, too. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication, care, and professionalism, and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent! Vinn has been a game changer. My daughter, a high-level youth soccer player, began seeing Vinn to help manage an overuse hamstring/growth plate issue which he successfully helped make a non-issue. For weeks I was having intense back pain that was keeping me immobile and miserable. I tried every stretch the internet could offer, but still the pain persisted. A friend of mine referred me to Vinn, and I decided to go. As soon as I met with Vinn, his only interest was to help me and cure my back pain. Our first one hour session helped me more than I thought possible. The best part is Vinn gave me a series of stretches to do everyday that keep my back healthy. Vinn is far better than any chiropractor or massage therapist I have ever been to and I could not recommend him more.

I trained with Vinn regularly throughout my high school soccer seasons, and was able to become a much better player due to his unique exercises and expert advice. After I graduated high school and went to college, I switched my focus to lifting. Before taking on a new training regimen, I drove home to meet with Vinn on how to properly perform the lifts in my program. Vinn held extreme knowledge, and provided the best deadlift, squat, and bench tips that I ever received. His suggestions would both help me prevent injury while lifting, and drastically increase my strength at a much faster rate.

Even when I was not regularly training with Vinn, he never stopped treating me as his client. During a Club Ultimate Frisbee practice at school, I ended up pulling my hamstring. Vinn was both the first person I texted, and the first person that responded. Within a few hours we were on the phone, and he was providing me with preliminary exercises and stretches to make the recovery process much faster. As I recovered, I would continuously provide him with what exercises I was doing at PT, and how I felt the injury was healing. He would always answer any questions I had, talking on the phone from several minutes to any amount of time necessary. He was even able to find the time for me to meet with him in person again, where he provided me with a list of exercises that directly increased the rate at which my hamstring was progressing. Vinn held a pivotal role in getting me back on the field and back to feeling confident in pushing myself during all athletic activities.

I can safely say that I highly recommend Vinn to be your personal trainer. No matter what questions you have, or training you want to begin, Vinn will have the knowledge to allow you to thrive. I am extremely thankful for him being accessible enough to consistently text and call me throughout my injury recovery at college. I never felt forgotten or ignored. Vinn’s help throughout the years was essential to my growth as an athlete, and I hope you take this as a sign to reach out and begin training with him.

I highly recommend Vinn Reddy, personal trainer [VRPT]!

I have a chronic back issue. In the summer of 2022, I had a serious health issue with a 3 week hospital stay resulting in a significant setback in physical strength. After release from PT, I searched for a personal trainer with two goals in mind: regain my pre-ailment strength and be on the golf course in April 2023. OK, there was a 3rd goal – I need someone to help me do this in a safe manner, to avoid injury or another setback. I thought Vinn’s PT background and training experience was the perfect combination for my situation.

It’s May 15th – I’m back to pre-illness strength (probably better), and my first full round of golf 2023 was April 4th! I’m also playing pickleball regularly

Somethings that I really like about working with Vinn: every workout is different, I never know what we’ll be working with, it’s fun. Vinn is always watching to make sure my form is correct – this has been great as I’m avoiding injury, but also getting the maximum benefit from the exercises. I’m also impressed with his professionalism, his instructions are clear and consistent, corrections are made with respect, and I feel there is genuine concern for my health and fitness success. The best part, is that Vinn really listened to me and has tailored my workouts to reach MY goals. It’s been so interesting to see how my workouts have progressed towards reaching those goals.

Words can not express how great of a trainer Vinn is! I’ve trained with him since freshman year of high school and am now a college freshman. We first started off as training during the offseason to prepare me and keep me in shape for my next field hockey season. Once I ended my senior year, we switched to less agility and more strength training. I have knee issues and Vinn has always done such a great job at incorporating moves that help strengthen my knees as well as avoiding moves that may bother it.

I definitely feel prepared and confident enough to go off to school and continue my fitness goals with all the knowledge he has given me. I can’t wait to come back for the holidays and train again with Vinn!

I have been training with Vinn for about one year. His approach is to provide workouts that are individualized, challenging & unique every time. I appreciate that he challenges me but concentrates on exercising safely & without injury. Every workout is new and I am always amazed how many different types of exercises he recommends. I worked with Vinn Reddy doing one on one private training. He was fantastic and worked with me on a training program that perfectly aligned with my goals. Vinns program adds diversity with exercises that not only focus on muscle building but also increased mobility and technique. This was exactly what I was looking for as I have a sedentary job, a corrective exercise specialist like Vinn was able to show me how to perform movements and day to day activities more efficiently. He was as dedicated as I was and would be willing to train with me as early as possible and on weekends. I have been training with Vinn for years, and I’m in the best shape of my life during quarantine doing one on one training. He’s really stepped up his game to do safe quarantined training. Really awesome that he’s abiding by all of the cdc regulations especially since I’m a diabetic. Masks are always required and he sanitizes everything as I get there and as I leave, so he’s got an extensive cleaning protocol. And truthfully getting in my VRPT workouts is like my safe haven during this pandemic where I can get my physical and mental relief from work and get out of the house. I am the head coach of the Parsippany Hills High School Field Hockey Team, and Vinn has worked with my team the past two years during the off season. His training has made such a huge difference in my team's play. They are stronger, faster, and more aware on the field than they have been in the past. Not only does he focus on strength and conditioning training, he focuses on injury prevention and teaching my team how to do certain exercises and stretches properly. I was introduced to Vinn by my physical therapy doctor after completing a session in the same building. Vinn is a professional trainer and patient when starting a new exercise. My situation was different from the injury I experienced while in PT. I needed a personal training program that would help to strengthen my bones while improving my balance to avoid future falls. While I was somewhat athletic and outdoorish, formal training in the proper use of gym equipment was a whole new experience. Vinn evaluated my strengths & weaknesses then presented a program. After learning resistance training with him, I’m amazed at the progress I made due to his expertise. Vinn helped me move better. Plain and simple.

Years of neglect of my body and how it moves had resulted in muscle tightness and significant pain in my knees. Sure, I could muscle my way through a pick-up basketball game or a hike, but the joy I once found in those activities had evolved into anxiety and fear of further injury.

I was back in New Jersey for the summer, and I knew I had to address these issues. That's when I reached out to Vinn, who was quick to get back to me and schedule time to understand my goals and needs.

Over the course of our three months together, Vinn played the role of trainer, teacher, and detective. We were constantly uncovering areas of weakness or range of motion issues that we would then tackle with a comprehensive plan. He also taught me how to approach each type of compound and isolation movement in the gym - movements I had done thousands of times before, but with tweaks and tips that made them far more effective. Most importantly, I'm pain-free and on the path to a healthier, more functionally-fit version of myself that is ready and able to pick up my physical hobbies again.

I couldn't recommend Vinn more. His deep knowledge of muscle movement and therapy techniques was critical to building a plan for me that is simple, effective, and caters to my busy schedule. Even if you only have a short period of time to work with him, you'll be happy you did.

Vin is truly god sent. My teenage son was overweight and lacked self esteem. We had been to other personal trainers before but none of them took the time to really learn about and listen to my son. The work outs were very repetitive and boring and he often lost interest due to his ADHD.

Last year, I hit my heaviest weight and a very low point in my life. I decided it was time to enter the world of personal training. This was nerve-racking because I don't normally open up to strangers - especially about what I am struggling with. I was super nervous meeting Vinn, but those nerves went away very quickly. He spent an hour just getting to know me - goals, hobbies, injuries, diet - everything. Just that conversation made me feel like I mattered and that he cared about my journey. That journey has included (and still does include) amping up my field hockey game, completing a tough mudder (another one this year!), and in general getting me healthy physically (I have some weird injuries). Interning with Vinn was an eye opening experience. There is only so much a textbook can teach you and with the real life expertise that Vinn had to offer, it changed my entire approach to training and coaching. With a bachelors in Kinesiology from Rutgers, CPT and CSCS I thought I had enough knowledge to train clients on my own, but after shadowing and learning from Vinn, I finally felt confident. As I approached 50 I began boot camp, Piloxing, HIIT, and other classes that I truly enjoyed. After 2 years of that I sustained two (non-related) injuries and was unable to continue classes. I began PT (where I met Vinn), later had rotator cuff surgery, and went on with continued PT.

Watching Vinn and his clients, while I was still undergoing physical therapy, I longed to get back to working out and regaining some strength. In time, along with another PT client, I began sessions with Vinn. I have been going to him for over a year now and do single sessions, duos, and occasionally trios. He is incredibly flexible with scheduling, knowledgeable of exercise, and excellent at tailoring workouts for specific needs.

One of the things I love about VRPT is that Vinn is familiar with all of my (and all of his clients') injuries and special requirements. While he pushes me, he always takes care to watch out for any sign of discomfort and can read his clients facial expressions and noises. He has made me stronger both mentally and physically, and our sessions are always full of laughter, sweat, and cursing (by me, not him), which in my mind means I am working hard.

One year ago I had an injury that kept me away from work and physical activity for several months. After the doctors gave me the ok to start to work and do light physical activities again, I decided to seek help of a professional to make sure I would go back to the physical shape and strength I had before.

My requirements were the following: a personal trainer that actually knows what he is doing, a background in physical therapy and the ability to keep up with my sassy attitude when things do not progress as fast as I would like to.

When a friend suggested to contact VRPT I had no idea what to expect, but already after the first meeting I could see that I was in the right place. Vinn had a huge part in my outstanding recovery and also helped me correct issues I still had as result of a serious accident that happened 13 years ago.

Just to preface this, I have had trainers at multiple times in my life be-it for athletic training tailored to high school athletes or miscellaneous times throughout college where I wanted to have some extra guidance. I also was in good shape when I started to see Vin 6 months ago. My main goals were to focus on form, mind/body connection, and essentially "lean-gain" (put on muscle but not at the expense of adding unnecessary fat).

That being said, I have never come across someone so knowledgable and committed to helping me achieve my goals, especially in such a short period of time. Whether it is helping implement small lifestyle changes (i.e. short cardio in morning), suggestions for diet, or supplement recommendations based on goals, Vin has been pivotal in my body transformation which over 6 months is very noticeable. He takes the time to understand your limitations and pushes you to them (if you want him to), but also knows when you have given everything you have left.

Not only is he a great trainer but he is also a great friend, and he appears to have this type of relationship with each and every one of his clients. If you are looking for a trainer that is going to go above and beyond in helping you accomplish your personal goals, Vin is definitely your guy.
