Windsor Athletic Club (USAWAC) is amazing! Super clean, great facilities, and a really friendly vibe. The staff are brilliant – Sammy at the front desk was especially helpful and made things so easy for us, even with four kids in tow.

It’s one of those places where you instantly feel welcome and looked after. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out – you won’t be disappointed!

They don't cancel your subscription even after acknowledging it. Kept charging my CC for 3 months, even after I called them twice and reminded. Don't go here.

Edit: DO NOT TRUST THE 4 STAR RATING!!!
If you check any recent reviews a majority of them will be negative. This place used to be great but the piss poor management really dug its own grave.

Not only do they jack up prices behind customers backs, the Windsor Athletic Club also lacks what other local clubs exceed in. They recently changed my membership without informing me increasing it by around 15 dollars. The tiny gym that’s in the upper floor constantly has issues with their machines. Not only are they extremely outdated but they are constantly broken and in need of repair. Their “open basketball courts” are available at the most inconvenient times. No one who works or goes to school can use the open courts from the times that are available. The second anyone who’d come back from work or school would go to use the court it is rented out til 7pm. And if you check their website for their schedule it’s from October of last year, so it’s not like you can plan ahead anyways. Their hours are also awful closing at 7pm on weekends and 9pm on weekdays. I wish I could say I enjoyed their large pool, but it is also constantly rented out with maybe one lane open to share. It also closes half an hour before the normal closing times. I spent about a year at this gym, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone.

The experience I just had at Windsor Athletic Club is hard for me to articulate in words, due to how terrible it was. Front desk worker gave me vague directions to the pickle ball court. He told me to “walk down the hallway and it will be at the end.” I was very excited to see the court, as I paid $30 for a pass, and other pickleball clubs usually charge $10 for a pass. As I walked to the court, I passed multiple classrooms, realizing this “athletic center” used to be an old school, with no renovations. As I arrived to the court, I realized that the so called “pickleball court” is just an old classroom, with school chairs lying around, and barely any space to play, not to mention there weren’t any balls for me and my friends to use. Absolutely disgusting service and deception I received from the front desk worker before I payed. Pathetic

This place was disappointing in all aspects. Came to play pickleball and found a net from the 1950s in a random classroom with tape on the floor to make the lines. Front desk associate was impatient and deceptive. Everything about this place is mediocre. Ping pong room has must in the air, charging $30 for a day pass is unacceptable. Sportika, Robbinsville Pickle House, and to be honest anywhere would be better than what these people through together in this old school. The picture was the so called “pickleball court”

Review for West Windsor Athletic Club

I regret signing up for a membership at West Windsor Athletic Club (WAC). What seemed promising initially turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience, not only due to the subpar quality of the gym but also because of its deceptive business practices.

Let me start with their so-called "14-month contract." I was under the impression that I had signed up for an annual membership, but apparently, WAC has a 14-month "month-to-month" agreement disguised as a yearly commitment. This deceptive practice feels like a calculated effort to lock members into longer commitments, knowing full well that most would not renew due to the gym's lack of quality and service.

Speaking of quality, this gym is embarrassingly below par. The equipment is outdated, and only a handful of machines are actually usable. The hours are inconvenient, and the overall facilities are far from what you’d expect for the price. Coming from Life Time Gym, which offers exceptional service and state-of-the-art amenities, WAC doesn’t even come close to providing a quarter of the value but tries to charge a comparable rate.

The customer service is nonexistent. I sent multiple emails and even visited the gym in person to address my concerns and cancel my membership, but my attempts were ignored. The manager, Jeff, didn’t respond to my emails until I had to repeatedly follow up. This level of negligence is unacceptable for any business, let alone one trying to maintain a loyal customer base.

The gym’s shortcomings are not new, and even former staff members have acknowledged its decline. I initially joined because of Alan, who genuinely cared about the gym and its members, but since his departure, the gym has hit rock bottom.

If you’re considering joining West Windsor Athletic Club, I strongly urge you to think twice. There are far better options available, even at a lower price point. Planet Fitness, for instance, offers better service and equipment at a fraction of the cost. Save yourself the frustration and choose a gym that values its members.

The Windsor Athletic Club has been on a steady decline, and the main issue is the poor management by the owner, Jack, and his Management team. Recently, the pool and aquatics program have been impacted by this mismanagement. The club had to shut down the aquatics program after going through three aquatic directors in less than a year due to the toxic environment created by Jack and his team. This has left members and staff frustrated, with no clear direction or leadership.

Even before the shutdown, communication was a mess, with instructors receiving schedules at the last minute, and maintenance issues piling up without resolution. It doesn’t matter how nice a facility is if there’s no proper management to support it. The gym’s potential is wasted, and it's a shame that members and staff are left to deal with the fallout of such a poorly run operation.

This gym has been my family gym. I would go to this very regularly. However the issue is that rates have increased significantly and the most irritating is that to sign up or change membership as a member you need to go through a whole process and only can do so when the membership person happens to be there. This is perhaps the most frustrating experience. For a gym, people should be able to change or add members anytime, when other gyms have the ability.I was willing to pay $140 for two people but the rates have gotten too expensive to lifetime (prices).

Joined in Dec 2022,
Frequent pool closings, I was threatened by a swim instructor, 3 lanes for swim team, 1 lane for swim Instruction, and 1 for family swim. Which left ONLY 1 lane for lap swimming after work.

We hosted our daughter's 5 yo bday party at the party room today and it was totally worth it. Linda was very efficient and helpful all the way. The room is large and clean. The food is from Capuanos which is very good too. Overall I would highly recommend it if you are looking to host a birthday party for your child. I believe there are pool party options also.

We were in NJ visiting family this summer.
My son Sean had a private lesson session with coach Han. Sean became quite good at breast stroke at the end of the session even though he started from scratch. Coach Han also managed to include correcting him on back stroke and free style in those short lessons. Coach Han was flexible on scheduling and it is very easy to set up the time for the lessons. The facility there is also good. I highly recommend Coach Han and WAC.

KidsFit Princeton is now being hosted at the Windsor Athletic Club and we've had an excellent experience with the instructor, Heather Law! Ms. Heather's instruction is so engaging, and she combines both the warmth of a mom with the education and expertise of a seasoned gymnastics/ phys ed/ kinesthetics teacher. We will miss her this year as everyone is in nursery/ pre/school, but cannot recommend these classes enough.

Our family regularly goes to library activities, mommy & me clubs, kids gyms, etc. The difference with KidsFit will be the holistic approach Heather takes to teaching: both behavior, (gentle) discipline, small & gross motor skills, and she coaches parents along the way.

Lastly... Heather, be sure to keep providing that real half n half for the coffee! You don't know how much it meant to have that little treat;)
