YB is an amazing fitness club. I have been a member since it took over for CanDo. I also recently become one of their employees teaching yoga twice a week. As a member, I fully take advantage of the vast number of classes they offer from cardio kickboxing, Pilates, spinning, barre, bounce and of course yoga as well. The teachers are all experts in their area and are committed to working with all members. They listen to their members and are always looking for ways to raise the bar. Itβs a very friendly, welcoming club where members know each other and where many friendships are established. Linda

My wife's membership was abruptly and rudely terminated via email by the ignorant so called manager because she came in with our 10 years old daughter and spend some time with here through out the gym areas showing here minor exercises and trying to teach a little about the gym activity! Our Family has been members for the past 15 years. Absolutely outrageous and unprofessional business. Not Family or kids oriented. In addition the amenities are getting old and broken. This place need overhaul renovation and change of management.

The best gym, hands down! Great equipment, friendly staff and members, tons of space to do your workout, and really awesome classes! I've been coming here for just under two years and it is just getting better. If you are looking for a new gym, YB is the best!

This is a great facility. Iβve enjoyed coming here for the last six months. Classes are a big deal to me and I canβt be happier because this gym offers a variety of classes. Instructors are amazing! Bonnie and Biola are two of my favorite instructors. They are very energetic and they motivate you to push yourself and get stronger. This gym has a good amount of machines and they are accessible at any time. You can find clean towels in every corner and floor. Staff members are professional and friendly. This gym is very complete and it has a great atmosphere, I love this place!

This place is great! Very family oriented, good free weights, lots of classes, quiet area for when you want to be left alone on the treadmill, great selection of machines, friendly staff.

After years of paying inflated membership fees, through multiple owners and name changes, we finally had enough of this place. So my girlfriend cancelled her membership, so she thought, until they kept charging our card and fought my card company to win 2 months of fees additional ($170!). I'll now be cancelling my own membership due to their ethics. Shame on you guys for treating your long standing customers like this.

day1 member as they say. This gym also supported my sister for the summer when she needed a job. They give back tor the community!
Gym memberships typically range between 60 to $70 and I do know they offer family discounts if you add up to three people minimum. As of recent the gym now offers video instructor cycling classes as if you were riding a Peloton but instead of doing it at your house you are with a group of people.
One of the other amazing things about YB Fitness is that their shakes are like no other and I highly recommend asking for a peanut butter chocolate shake or a chunky monkey. The shakes typically cost around 6 to $7.
Lastly if you are interested in getting individual training sessions then I highly recommend trainers like Mark or Damien in which they specialize and all sports and Speed and Agility. because individual classes or training sessions can cost a lot trainers like Mark and Damien 10 to work out in groups to help lower the cost and at the end of the day their number one motivation is to help you and there's been plenty of times that you don't need to pay to just work out with them. The gym is a staple of the community and hosts small business Saturdays where they allow mom's to come in and set up small shops.

I have been a member of this fitness club since it opened under different ownership. Once it was taken over and became YB the bar and standards were raised 100 fold. I have been visiting gyms and fitness centers around the country for over 30 years. This is hands down the best one Iβve ever been too. Not only does the staff greet and know every customer by name but the facilities are second to none and meticulously maintained. The trainers and group fitness classes are also by far the best in the area, if not entire country. It is a true testament to the facility and to the management when trainers and employees have been there since the club opened over 15 years ago. I also frequent yoga studios all around the country and still find their teachers to be the best at this gym. This is a unique characteristic for gym to offer such a diverse range of classes yet excel in each and every category. They are also always changing with the times and updating equipment and classes offered. Mind you I am extremely meticulous and would never accept less than perfection for the club I belong to. As a matter of fact my entire family belongs here and the pricing is incredibly fair for what is being offered. Even if it was expensive which it is not you cannot put a price tag on this type of service, cleanliness and expertise. I have no doubt they will keep this up as everyone works from their hearts and is truly dedicated to their craft! Thank you for making my day everyday!

This is a great gym by all accounts. Expensive, but good. However...
After two years of membership (and fulfilling my one year minimum obligation), I decided to cancel it. I cancelled it August 14th, shook the manager's hand, thanked him, and wished him all the best. Recently, they billed me for the entire month of September including the locker.
After speaking with them on the phone, they explained their policy to me that they continue to bill one month after the month you cancel. I was shocked. I had recommended friends to this place, always paid my membership, and rarely ever bothered the management. How can they treat their own loyal customers like this? Make sure you cancel well in advance because these people will mock you on the phone as they charge your account for an extra month.
Edit: I even offered to be prorated for the 30 day period after August 14th (September 14th) but they laughed and said that's not how their policy works. I can't believe it.

Clean and spacious gym that actually happens to cater to everyone.
I don't take classes but they have many and people seem to love them.
Membership is a bit pricy if you just go there to lift.

Awesome gym in that it has all new machines plus not having to wait to use any particular equipment. Membership price is a bit pricey however considering the amenities as well as how nice the staff is it, it is well worth it.

I do not use the classes, so cannot talk to that. However, the gym is clean, the equipment is well maintained, the staff is friendly, and they have plenty of weights and machines. I would give it 5 stars, but it is a little costly [not quite Equinox level, but higher than a lot of local gyms] and I wish they stayed open just a little later on weekends. I actually do not think the issues should be a full star demerit, but I cannot give 4.5 so 4 it is.

Years ago I joined YB when it was CANDO. You will find its staff is knowledgeable and friendly as are the its members. The equipment is kept up to date and in good repair and the locker room is spotless. So if you are looking for a gym with the qualities I mentioned, join YB - you won't regret it.
Just a note - Ming From Planet Mongo is my pen name because a a kid I loved to watch the old 1930s Flash Gordon serials on early television.
