I’ve been going to the beginner barre class with Maribel. I highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to learn the fundamentals of barre. It’s a great class and great workout! Maribel is a great teacher as well!

I have taken the beginners to yoga class with Michelle and Maribel. Both of them are such wonderful teachers! I have Enjoyed all of my classes with them and continue to go back to the studio, I recommend for anyone looking to learn more about yoga !

I have been going to Yoga Suite & Barre for about a year now. I wanted to try yoga, but was intimidated to join a class with no prior experience. Fortunately, YSB offers a Brand New to Yoga series for 8 weeks. I signed up, and have never looked back! Michelle is so good and really breaks down poses for us - I never felt judged or frustrated that I couldn’t do something. I’ve since moved up to the Level 2 series and couldn’t be more pleased! Michelle has a way of gently challenging us while understanding that we are all at different places in our practice. I highly recommend taking Michelle’s class if you’re interested in getting started or just need to reconnect with the foundation of your yoga practice!

I discovered Pat’s Yin Yoga class several years ago and I realized that I had made a great find !
I keep coming back to it .
Pat starts class with a brief meditation and then proceeds to guide us into a series of yoga poses supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks. Each pose is held for several minutes .
While we are in the pose, she reads to us wisdom teachings that she picks for the day. Other times, she guides us through a visualization of the chakras that have been opened up in each pose and informs us on the physical and emotional functions of the chakra as we meditate on them while enjoying the deep tissue stretch. Later, she does a reiki healing on each of us and we end with a final dedication of the practice. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful.
Yin yoga is awesome to stretch the deep facia, lubricate large joints and prevent early arthritis. A great adjunct to aerobic exercise like walking, running and workouts at the gym. It is beneficial to everyone as our modern lifestyle includes a lot of sitting , causing tight hips low back and hamstrings. It is also wonderful recovering from an injury as you can modify each stretch to your comfort and still maintain your flexibility without loading the joint
as in an active yoga class.
I always feel rejuvenated after class, my joints limber and I walk taller ! I have noticed that taking yin yoga enables me to hold poses better in a regular yoga class.
Pat is an experienced teacher, kind and always willing to share her deep knowledge of yoga.
I highly recommend her class for its therapeutic and spiritual benefits .

I found Yoga Suite a couple months ago when looking for a place to start yoga classes. I have taken almost every class and can say all instructors and very helpful and knowledgable for first time yogis. I have never been to a bad class! Definitely recommend!

I am so grateful for Yoga Suite & Barre. I have been attending classes regularly since I moved to Matawan over the summer. Adding Barre to my work-out and self care routine has elevated my body awareness and confidence. My posture is improving more with each class. Heather is a fabulous instructor. She is very knowledgable and motivating always making classes challenging, yet fun! The studio has so much to offer anyone looking to improve their health and get in shape.

Yoga Suite and Barre has several new yoga classes! Gave them a try over the last few weeks and couldn't be more pleased. Yogalates on Wednesday evening is a great workout that combines both yoga and pilates! Thursday night is Strengthen and Lengthen - this yoga classes focuses on poses that both strengthen your body and lengthen your muscles. If you are free on Saturday morning I would recommend core yoga!

Heather & Liz are wonderful Barre
Instructors. They make sure you are positioned correctly in the poses, and keep you motivated to do your best.
We always work hard but have a lot of laughs in the process!!
As a bonus, Pat's Yin Yoga on Friday is a must! ❤️ this place! Highly recommend !

Yoga Suite offers such a wonderful selection of classes from yoga to barre. I started barre very recently and was intimidated to go to the first class thinking I would feel self conscious that I didn't know what I was doing or couldn't keep up. Was I wrong! Heather, the teacher, made me feel comfortable and welcome immediately. The barre class was just what I needed, and already I am seeing results. Heather makes it challenging and fun, and I never feel like I have to "keep up" if I need to take it more slowly. Great class. Great teacher. Highly recommended.

I have discovered barre classes at Matawan studio last summer of 2015. That was very important to my failing body. I needed to shape it up and also to get into exercise routine. Needless to say the barre classless burnt my excessive fat and put me into positive attitude. I like all the barre class teachers as well yoga teachers. They all are very friendly people and highly trained professionals. The atmosphere is very relaxing and enhancing emotionally. Highly recommend and Everybody - welcome to join our class!
