I want to thank Rose and Raji for helping me get through this difficult year. As an essential worker, I know that Rose’s energy medicine yoga has kept me healthy ( physically and emotionally) and grounded. My mantra has been I trust I let go. I have been taking yoga classes at YS since my practice started in August 2017. I've taken classes taught by every level 1 teacher many times (hundreds of classes) and most of the level 2 teachers. For advanced yoga students the level 2 and above classes are generally well known, are superb and speak for themselves. For Level 1 students, YS is yoga paradise. I have taken classes with Rose, Jennifer, Alane, Candy, Lisa, Deb S., Amy Z., Kimberly, Susan, Joe and Kelly and you cannot miss no matter who is teaching. YS gives their teachers unlimited freedom to combine each teacher's unique personality, yoga background and inspiration to provide a rich, rewarding and entirely unique experience every time you get on the mat. I have never left a YS class not feeling better and somehow changed from the time I walked into it. These teachers, this community and the vibrant energy that is YS have changed my life.

Amazing studio. I take the vinyasa classes and all the teachers are so great. They help me modify if I have an injury and are always trying to help me improve. I always leave the class feeling great. I highly recommend. Shout out to Karen, Nicole and Kate! They kick my butt.

Amazing yoga teachers with 2 locations and many classes each day. Every instructor is supportive and will help you develop your practice. I had not done yoga in nearly 40 years and was completely out of shape and feeling stressed. In six months at yoga synthesis I have dramatically improved my health and my spirits. I strongly recommend for newcomers and experienced.

This is recommended and I enjoyed the classes I took there. I stopped only because of time, money, and distance. But, definitely make it there again, hopefully. I took Saturday classes and I loved the instructor very kind and non-intimidating, felt the difference and effort.

Had been going here for several months and did enjoy the classes. Kelly who Haas been teaching for as long as I can remember gives a good class and passes along some dharma philoshy which always is a pleasure.
My only request is the studio provide some lunch time spots to practice. I know 3 pm is rather popular but time wise doesn't work for my schedule. Overall friendly people and located right before the Ramsey shopping center.

Along with the properly sequenced asana teachings, the ancient Vedas, Sutras & founding scripts of Yoga are presented & studied giving the student a firm foundation in the true meaning & benefit of perpetuating the Yoga traditions to the current generation. Yoga Synthesis provides thousands of years of Yoga knowledge. And then makes it about NOW. I have been studying and practicing with the owners Raji and Rose for years. In every singles class, they have brought me to the place of peace within, deeper breathe and a healthier body and mind.
the majority of the staff have been trained by Raji, and he has the ability to impart the teachings in a way that allows each instructor to develop and grow their own style, while remaining totally grounded in theory, values and physical aspects of the roots of classical yoga.

Fantastic yoga center.....I've been enjoying classes with every yoga teacher and they all offer something unique and physically/spiritually satisfying. They offer an amazing new student intro package that allowed me to take as many classes as I wanted in one month for an extremely low cost.....I will definitely be continuing!! I have been going to this studio for almost a year. The teachers are all super nice and willing to work with you no matter what level you are at. To sum it up the environment at Yoga Synthesis is of just unconditional love....I know that sounds corny but in a nutshell that's it. If you're looking for a studio that will support your every challenge and celebrate each of your successes, you have found it. And it's not only just the teachers and staff that are amazing, it's just everyone. It's a true community in every sense of the word. I wouldn't practice anyplace else.

All of the teachers I've tried at Yoga Synthesis are phenomenal. Kelly S. makes me laugh out loud every class, simultaneously weaving in fresh, profound yoga insight, and integrating asana and body awareness with philosophy and attitude awareness. Kimberly radiates so much joy and self acceptance, it becomes contagious! You cannot resist loving yourself unconditionally in her classes. She seamlessly ties together Chinese Medicine Theory, Kundalini, and Vinyasa Flow, creating an invigorating, challenging and restorative practice that leaves me feeling healthier every time. And then there's Raji, whose wealth of yoga knowledge is unmatched, and whose creative, spontaneous Vinyasa flows are always a breath of fresh air. His guidance and encouragement have coaxed me into a number of postures I never thought I could do. I am so grateful for the quality of instruction at Yoga Synthesis, and the thriving community of folks who join here to practice and share their positive energy. My only complaint is that it's far from my home. I might have to move closer :)

Their Chestnut Ridge studio is one big open space with peaceful views of woods out of the big windows. And it's so convenient - right over the Montvale (NJ) border, close to the Garden State Pkway, with easy parking - and I can stop for healthy food nearby at the wonderful Hungry Hollow Co-op. The warm, friendly atmosphere created by Rose and Raji - who created and own Yoga Synthesis- and all their lovely staff, have made Yoga Synthesis a community treasure!

Yoga Synthesis is just the type of yoga studio I was looking for. Everyone is down to earth, the instructors are masters, yet approachable, the classes are well attended, but not too crowded, and the courses are offered at consistent times that I can actually make! I've gone to many places, never really happy with something or other, Yoga Synthesis has kept me there for 3 years now and I will continue to go back. Plus their package deals make it economical and also offer a great incentive to get me there!

I love Yoga Synthesis. I go to the one in Chestnut Ridge which is a really soecial stidio with windows over looking the woods. Doing yoga there is always calming and rujivinating. Raji and Judi are excellent Teachers . I particularly enjoy Wendesday morning classes with Raji. He has a talent to weave togther different styles of yoga and even Qi gong and Tai Chi which always gives the class flow a special flavor and freshness. I also appreciate the diversity of people in terms of age and levels. This Yoga studio is for all yogis to enjoy together.
