Got a week pass while we were in town for Thanksgiving. SUCH a great gym. Equipment was 10/10. Staff and members were all welcoming and warm! Bathrooms are upgraded and clean! The whole gym was clean, you can tell it is well taken care of. 10/10 recommend

It's a good gym with a wide variety of equipment. Plenty of squat racks and a nice variety of barbells. Dumbbells that go up to 180 (I think) with tons of different benches. They recently got a bunch of new pneumatic resistance machines that at first I thought were a waste of space but actually they're pretty nice to use. Especially the seated row. The only thing I wish they had was a low row cable station. You can use the cables that are attached to the power racks for that but it's not the same. That air powered row machine makes me miss it less though. People seem nice too. What more could you want?

Here in Las Cruces from out of town...my hotel gym is horrible, so I decided to give this place a try. This gym is fantastic! The layout is super spacious with plenty of machines. Didn't have to wait for a weight bench or the cable machines. The dressing room area was clean and had a sauna! Also super cheap one-day drop in fee!! Will definitely be my new go-to when in Cruces.

Clean, inviting space. The equipment variety and versatility is impressive. I haven’t been in a gym in a while, but this has set a new standard for me. As a Marine veteran who’s traveled the world and trained in all kinds of gyms—from military bases overseas to high-end fitness centers in big cities—this place in Las Cruces honestly blew me away. It’s hands down the best gym you can find here. The amenities are top notch. You’ve got a clean daycare, a sauna, spotless bathrooms, and a full range of equipment that covers everything you could need. It’s the kind of setup I’d expect to find in a much bigger city.

What really makes it stand out is the atmosphere. The staff and trainers are friendly, easy to talk to, and always willing to help. You never feel out of place, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been training for years. There’s a real sense of community that makes you want to keep coming back. On a positive note, thenew location is better than the old. Locker room and restroom aren’t in separate areas anymore.. However, mirrors inside every single squat rack is absolutely absurd. If you’re looking to compete at or train for anything but a beauty pageant or IG post, look elsewhere.

Join this gym. The equipment is almost never out of order, and the wide variety make waits for machines rare. The environment is clean, and people are respectful to one another. They don't judge me when I come in from work in my jeans and boots, because it's the only time I can squeeze a workout in. I tell everybody I can to join up.

I started to go to this gym after retiring from 23 yrs of service in the army. It was my first time going to a civilian gym so i had no idea what to expect. What I was not expecting was to have the owner Brian talk trash about my autistic 4 year old daughter or to have Brains Father Ken make racist comments about me behind my back. When this information was brought to my attention by one of his own employees that over heard the conversation I immediately tried to get ahold of Brian to resolve this matter. Instead of confronting the issue regarding him and his father, Brian banned me from his gym. However he would still try to collect payments even though I no longer go to his gym. I’ve yet to hear back from that coward Brian or his father regarding the comments but what should I expect. Like father like son. Since leaving Bionic I started going to 310 fitness which welcomed me with open arms along with my autistic daughter. The owner is a Veteran and he goes above and beyond to make sure all his clients feel welcome. Not to mention that the facility is open 24/7.

World-class place, both in terms of equip AND personnel/community. Immense amounts of room, countless DBs & BBs/plates/machines, everyone is super respectful and friendly to others, and make certain equip is well taken care of. I love this place is like find a Needle in the Alfalfa or Find a Oasis in the Desert, The Owner Brian very Professional give me a Tour to Bionic Barbell Gym and Answer all my Questions about the use of the Equipment, l usually paid 65 plus tax for my Membership and the price is low for The Quality of the Equipment, But The owner Hired a Manager and Lower the Price to 55 percent off to the original Price before and change from a Private Gym like a Planet Fitness full of Members and all the Equipment are Busy all the time . Brian the owner has 100 members to pay 85 per Month and lower the price to 40 per month , Bionic Barbell Gym Have 200 Members for the same Amount and the Difference is that is not Private Anymore, Removed the Essence and Double the Members, for the same Amount or Profit when starting when they open on 2021. Personal Training ServiceAffects Members, Personal Trainers Used the Equipment and Do not Respect the Members, before was Private and Exclusively, now is a Planet Fitness with a price Expensive and full of Members. I liked before , Quiet, Private Gym and with less Members.

I live out on the East coast and have been to many a gym. Bionic is among the best and I'd no hesitation get a membership if I lived in the area. Instead, I'll content myself on day passes during visits.

Pros:
-There is just a ton of space. It wasn't busy any time I went, but even if a lot of people were there, you'd be able to pretty handedly get your workout in without much competition for space or equipment.
-It's well maintained, despite the size of the space
-There is a single occupancy restroom with shower for the shy or in otherwise need of accomodation (in addition to regular locker rooms)
-The staff have been nice when I've been, but also not prying? They kinda give the energy you give them back. You wanna chat? They'll chat. You want the earbuds-in, guns-out treatment? You got it.
-There are many kinds of people I have seen there. Guys, gals, young and old with what seem to be different goals and stages in fitness.
-Proximity to coffee, food if you are trying to time your macros or food or whatnot

Cons:
-I personally don't like the thin, heavy steel plates they have a bunch of. They're stylish but I guess I like the old style of plates a bit more--easier to grab and move around IMO. Very minor gripe
-It's a litte out of the way if you live in some parts of town. TBH I was staying pretty far away and still found it worth the drive (and would even if I lived here). But east coast has likely desensitized me to that length of drive.
-The relative amount of cardio equipment is small--never been full while I've been, but if something was going to fill up first it'd be that.

Less of a con and more of a suggestion (and they may already have it without me knowing!) Is to set up a trx band somewhere. Even as someone who likes the free weight lifts most, the trx is good for stretching at the start or end for me and I know some older folk appreciate having it for assisted squats and the like.

Unfortunately, the customer service experience was disappointing, as they persistently overcharged despite cancellation requests. It's disheartening to see a business resort to such tactics, perhaps hoping clients won't notice. Communication was lacking, and assistance was refused when sought. Not the way to retain clientele.

Additionally, the excessive use of bleach and toxic cleaners creates an inhospitable environment, impacting both health and comfort. A more conscientious approach to cleaning would be appreciated.

In summary, be cautious of their contracts and be prepared for unexpected charges. Hopefully, improvements will be made to both their service and environmental practices in the future.

Me and my daughter have both asked at LEAST 6 times each to cancel her membership. No emails were returned, no call backs, no one at front desk could do it. There was notes left for owner etc. I was even suggest by front desk to just cancel my debit card cause they won’t take my card off, which is crazy. Be careful giving this place your card info, as a business owner myself this is absolutely not ok. If there was a 12 month contract (I don’t remember) it has very much been fulfilled so there should not be any issues with our request. Getting very frustrated being charged monthly and not being able to speak to ANYONE in charge of billing.

I work @ Holloman AFB, I workout daily on base. The variety of free weights and machines varies, however, they don't come close to what Bionic Barbell has to offer. I decided to workout @ Bionic Barbell on my day off. Bionic Barbell by far has been the best equipped gym I have ever been too, keep in mind, me being in the military I've been to gyms, both foreign and domestic. Bionic Barbell by far the BEST Gym. Please take time to read this review for any onlookers. I found out about this gym through Instagram and saw there was a free trial being offered. I interpreted this as a trial to see and feel out the gym, so I went and tried it out. I truly wish I had read reviews on this gym and known they tend to try and mislead their customers with their marketing and are sneaky with transactions. I was talking to an employee at the front desk, told him about the free trial I had seen, and asked to get signed up. The boy at the front was undertrained in the sense that he did not know what he was giving me. I asked the boy multiple times if I was signing a waiver solely for damage to myself or property during the one day I went, to which he responded yes. I shouldn't have been foolish by giving my debit card, which I thought was fishy, since I was signing a "waiver." I was signed up for 12-month payments and was unfortunately fooled. I have tried to contact the gym via their help email but have received no response. Due to the lack of response to the emails, I am forced to believe that, unfortunately, this company is fully aware of their scamming practices. This was further confirmed when I called and explained to the front desk employee that the Instagram ad that I found them on is misleading, just to be told in response, "That's just marketing." So if you show up to this gym looking to test it out, do not sign a single thing. It is not a safety waiver you are signing. I will finish carrying out the payments because I do not need trouble with a credit agency since my stupid little signature is on their silly contract. I am fortunate enough to receive help from my parents as a college student to manage bills from companies that use practices like these, but if you are not, beware. It truly is unfortunate that a nice facility like Bionic Barbell has to go about such practices to stay in business, but to each their own, I suppose. I hope the $500 you took from a literal college student was worth it. Buy yourself a sweet little strawberry daiquiri for me, would ya? Losers.

I love this place! There are tons of weights and plates, barbells, dumbbells, machines and squat racks at any given time of the day. The cardio equipment is limited but honestly, I’m there for the lifting! It’s always clean and most people that go there have awesome gym etiquette. This place is ran by a man child. I've suffered a brain injury that has costed me my ability to drive and lift. These guys after I've paid my membership in full then automatically without warning an email or text just auto renewed my membership after a year ran out at 3am. Tried to stop ot but apparently they need a 30 day written notice. I used to love this gym and the environment. But now they can burn. So 40$ to cancel the membership even though I paid on full and haven't be in. Reporting to the BBB.

Really enjoy it, it's always clean. I enjoy that the treadmills are on the 2nd floor because I know there's no creeps staring at me while I'm trying to get my cardio. And although the stair masters are on the first floor, there aren't any mirrors behind some of them so I still know people won't be looking at my behind while on there (I'm self-conscious af)
I wish they had a little more disinfectant wipes closer to the machines. They close at 10:30, and I do wish their hours were a bit more extended. Additionally, there's only one shower upstairs. It hardly gets any use, but I fear that one day someone else will be in there when I need to shower after my workout, before I go to work.
With that being said, I am excited for the 2nd facility being built and it sounds like my concerns will be addressed!

I haven’t used the service in over a year, got a call from debt collection.

I called bionic to work out a solution and they took off majority of the debt.

We found out that there was a different email on file for me which would explain why I didn’t receive a notification of the reoccurring charged that WILL APPLY after your contract ends. I did not pay attention to this. Even though I owed them 100%, I was honest with them and they helped me ou.t. Again, my fault, and they gave me a break. Awesome facility, awesome people. The manager was great.

First time coming here I had a semi had experience, but my first impression was quickly changed once Nico got me a week's mbership. I was impressed with the spaciousness, new equipment, and atmosphere that this gym has. Looking for a brand-new state-of-the-art clean cardio space, the second floor is just for you! Wanting to push your limits and go for your powerlifting max, Bionic Barbell got you covered!
