Grandmaster Cho, an inspiring figure and extraordinary teacher, has dedicated his life to passing on the traditions of Taekwondo and Hapkido in the United States. His tireless commitment to the martial arts and the values they embody is truly admirable, leaving a profound impact on countless students as they grow physically and spiritually under his guidance.

We had the privilege of engaging in long and intensive training sessions with the legendary patriarch Han-Young Choi, a true beacon of martial arts. The memories of our time with him are priceless. Among them, our visit to his apartment in New Mexico during an unforgettable journey through the USA stands out as a treasured experience.

A particularly meaningful moment was accompanying our revered grandmaster on his final journey across the United States. Those shared days were filled with significant moments that we will forever carry in our hearts. Not long after, our grandmaster peacefully passed away while fishing, in perfect harmony with nature. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, yet his spirit lives on in the hearts and actions of all those he touched.

We feel deep gratitude towards Grandmaster Cho, who so passionately preserves and carries forward Han-Young Choi's legacy. His dedication inspires us to always strive for our best and to embody the values of the martial arts with pride and respect. While we miss our grandmaster dearly, he remains eternal in our memories and in the dojang.

The best place for your kid to be taught Taekwondo, in all honesty.
My son has been visiting Master Cho’s classes since last summer, and he’s always looking forward to every class!
I, as a parent, am very pleased with the atmosphere - always respectful mutually, between instructors and all kids, yet very professional and personal approach from the instructors to each and everyone in the class. They gently manage every move, directing and motivating kids to their best technique.
I couldn’t wish a better place for my son’s sports choice!
Location-wise - there’s always plenty of parking space around the Mall where the Academy is situated, and the classes are being held in a very spacious room/hall that is perfect for this kind of activity 👍🏻.

Great place! They recently moved to a new area and the parking is amazing. There is always a place to park. Super clean and awesome new place! The instructors are amazing and very knowledgeable. We love coming here.

Instructors are great, but the facility is horrible. Nowhere to park during busy times and it looks as though it has never been cleaned. The floors are dusty and stained with grime, the chairs are discolored and gross. 5 stars if facility was decent.

Love the atmosphere! Master Granger is very patient with his students especially the little ones! His instructors are very well informed. The students learn all about perseverance, integrity, self control and indomitable spirit. They make sure every student is comfortable and feels successful! I have been doing classes since my high school years. And I cannot wait to sign up my son when he hits 3 years old!

Master Granger is an awesome instructor. he teaches his students humility, discipline, respect, self defense, and excellent technique. I visited the class while in Carlsbad and was very impressed with what I saw and experienced. I have practiced taekwondo for over ten years and take it from me, Master Granger is the best you're going to find in the Eddy/Lea County area
