Been a member for years now and this place has gotten so bad. It’s very dirty and the workers slack. They all sit down even the manager. The paper towels and bottles to clean are always empty or low. The bathrooms are also gross and always have stains. Please do a better job cleaning! Also please bring back the tootsie rolls

This Planet Fitness is one of the most uncomfortable gyms I’ve ever stepped into. It constantly feels like a sauna in there because they refuse to run the AC properly or something, wouldn't be surprised if there was mold. The air is thick, humid, and honestly unbearable. It’s no surprise employees look drained or faint during their shift! The machines are old and worn out, the place isn’t well maintained, and there’s zero pride of ownership. It feels like management just gave up. If you care about working out in a clean, comfortable, and functioning environment, look elsewhere.

Let’s just be very clear about this. You leave a review about how dirty and disgusting this places you get some sort of automatic response from an AI or someone who claims to be the owner but nothing gets clean there. The men’s room is absolutely disgusting. There’s soap scum and I don’t know what sort of dark material was on the showers this time, but it looks worse and worse every single time I go there And the gym equipment sometimes it’s clean sometimes it’s not. But what you always see on a very consistent basis is the staff all young people probably under the age of 25 on their phones at the front desk and not really doing a whole lot of anything and the owner clearly knows this because there’s cameras does the owner do anything about it absolutely not. Look at all the previous reviews. They’re all the same with a bunch of false promises and a bunch of lip service but no real action has taken place. I travel all over this country and hands-down, this is the dirtiest planet fitness is that I have been to. You never see staff cleaning you never see anyone cleaning that’s happening and the owner is taking his royalties and profits and not reinvesting back into his business so if you’re looking for a place to work out this is not it. There is a 24 hour fitness in Roswell that has got excellent reviews, with people leaving glowing reviews about how clean their facility is!

I gave this club a three star because it is in an easy to get to location. All the staff are very kind with greetings upon arrival. There are many machines to choose from but I do miss using the Arc machine that other locations have.Cons: I didn’t give it five stars because there is no 30 minute workout area like most planet fitness’s have. Also , The bathrooms are not kept clean every time I have been here to workout in the past few weeks.Sometimes it looks like they wipe down the sink area, but there is typically toilet paper all over the floor in the women’s bathroom, shower stalls are covered in hair, soap scum, water stains, and water ever else. Trash is on the floors in changing stalls and I came here last week and two days later the same trash was on the floor. In my experience,every Planet Fitness we’ve been to is kept very clean, especially in the bathrooms. My husband has reported the same problems in the men’s room. Also, the water-fill station is always very filthy and the water doesn’t always taste filtered.

I really like the BLACK CARD Benefits! Bringing a guest for free is nice when I travel. The massage chairs/massage water bed are great after a work out or even on a NON workout day. Having any location to work out is fantastic bc I travel both professionally and personally! The amount of options is incredible. Free weights, machines, Cardio, Ab section or HIIT section. I've used them ALL!

I’m a truck driver so parking is the first concern and the parking lot here is good and they’re not uptight about truck parking. Water fountain chill and showers work properly and all the equipment is up to par. Lost a star because this location doesn’t get the cleaning it should. I’m not a clean freak but there’s a scum film on the water fountain and sinks in the men’s locker room, showers were dirty, excess amounts of dust on equipment. And no I’m not going to talk to the employees about this, we write the reviews here so fix it or don’t it’s up to you

I have had many Memberships at many gyms in my lifetime. And I have found out that Planet Fitness is the greatest place to workout in my opinion.
Planet Fitness has a great environment that makes you feel like your workingout with ease, in the comfort of your home.
I also like the space in between the machines that doesn't make you feel crammed or like you can't breath.
*But I especially like the Posters that are hung around the gym that state: 'NOT TO BE CRITICAL OF OTHERS' really puts us all in that mentality of having 'Respect' one for another while working out.

I love Planet Fitness! I use the Hydromassage bed at least once a day to help with back pain. Then I stretch every day. And I use the many machines (I mean MANY) to keep my muscles and joints active.

The staff is very helpful and responsive if I report a need for toilet paper, cleaning paper, etc. One of the staff members, Hondo, calls me Miss Susan. It makes me feel good that he knows my name!

I am 75 tears old and this is certainly improving the quality of my life!

I waited 30 minutes for the gym to open, and no one is here once again! I am tired of every Saturday showing up at 7, and it is never open. Why pay for a black card when the gym is getting ridiculous? Why are we getting new equipment if you're going to just have bad staff? Try getting new staff. It is the same employee every Saturday, a girl with a neck tattoo. She always shows up late, and when she finally gets there, she just sits there. Last time, it was at 8:30.This is getting tiring.

I’ve been going to this gym for a couple of years off and on. The equipment is well kept. The staff is friendly! They greet us as we walk in and are going around making sure the place is clean and stocked. Art and Gabby have been phenomenal! I've been a member of PF in Roswell NM for the past two years. In those two years I've seen the place decline. I have complained that the tanning bulbs in the beds haven't been changed in at least two years and all they say is they'll let maintenance know.
Now they're allowing teenagers to utilize the gym for FREE for the next 3 months. These kids come into the gym in groups of 3 and 4 and monopolize equipment for 30-40 minutes. Then they're the kids that sit at a weight machine and play on their phone. I don't feel it's my job to police others.
Yesterday, was a Chest/Tri day, they have only one pec machine (which I've told them they need two but this too has fallen on deaf ears) and waited over 30 minutes until 4 kids got done playing on the equipment. I'm the one who's paying the membership. Why should I have to wait on non-paying clients?
The ONLY redeeming quality that PF has is that the Black Card membership which can be utilized throughout the country. I've been into some nice well ran PF clubs, too bad my home base club sucks.
I could continue but what's the point. I'm looking at other options in the area.

Where do I start. I'm in the parking lot and I'm getting my drink ready. A staff member gets into her car (she is wearing her planet fitness work shirt) that's parked behind to the left of my truck and she peals out almost clips me and my door and keeps driving like an idiot. I get it you have a gray dodge charger but no one's impressed with your driving. I find it sad if you dont like your job you dont have to almost hit someone. And 4 peel out is a little to much... And that's only the parking lot. The red light and tanning were dirty. I tried to clean the floor I ended up having to wear my socks and tossed them after the tanning but one star because the 3-4 staff members said have a nice day.... sorry I've been many gyms and this is the by far dirtiest. 🤦🏽‍♀️

The employee, specifically one named Daniel from the front desk is extremely rude. They have absolutely no manners. It brings down the vibe of the whole club if you’re trying to sign up. I simply wanted more information about the black card membership and he kept hanging up the phone over and over again literally more than five times. It’s not a long drive, but I had to go all the way down south in person to try to get this information. Employees from other planet fitness I go to are very nice and friendly That’s why I wanted my two other friends to sign up with me. Instead With all the rudeness From this employee, they went somewhere else to sign up.. I’m still trying I even called over the phone this morning but it seems that the club is Closed? I enjoyed working out & showering there. My husband however, couldn’t get any hot water in the men’s locker room. An employee tried to help him after my husband went to change the temperature & the handle broke off in his hand.
Then I tried to cancel. Was told by a worker that it was impossible for him to do it. I’d have to wait until the next day. I went down there, they canceled it. I had asked if they would be taking that last charge off since I wasn’t wanting to be a member anymore. They said yes.
Evidently they didn’t take it off because a few weeks later or so, my debit card was shut off. I tried to call& fix it. The man that finally got on the line to fix it couldn’t hear me, after the lady transferred me to him. He never called me back. Whatever. The women’s locker rooms & showers are fine. I used 2 different ones. The women’s locker room had hot water, men’s didn’t. He tried twice. Refused to finish showering in that cold water. He’s never been back. I canceled.

Older equipment but clean. There are not many stations with paper towel and sanitizer. The steppers in the 30 minute workout area are all close together which is odd. The area where the hydromassage beds were did not have a/c or fans. It was quiet while there at 2:30 pm. Locker room and showers in women’s was clean and very big. For once I saw the showers actually had a shower caddy so you could put your stuff up there and not on the floor. Not sure why all locations don’t have these. I also noticed that of all the locations I’ve been to, the only ones that had scales were in Wisconsin. Being on the road full time it would be nice to track my weight.

I was there around 7am, it was not busy, there were at least 2 employees behind the desk, and the ladies locker room was disgusting. Not just it hasn't been cleaned since yesterday but not been cleaned in weeks! Showers had mold growing in them and the floors were so gross I was afraid to put my bare feet down. This was one of the lower ranking Planet fitness locations I have visited. The weights were scattered all over and/or missing, unorganized, pins missing from machines. The showers were disgusting, dirty with trash, hair, etc for days in a row. Hot water not working days in a row. Toilets clogged days in a row, trash and toilet paper on floors. Meanwhile, employees sit at the desk talking or on their phones. Very disappointed with my visits to this location.

I love my Planet Fitness. Don't get me wrong. Mens room shower stall has hole in floor. Men's room urinal not working. Men's room shower requires two showers turned on to maintain hot water. 1 Hydro-bed not working. Second hydrobed had to be rebooted and still quit with 1 minute remaining

I like this location because it’s never super busy but they don’t seem to have as much equipment as other locations. There’s a LOT of treadmills, bikes and ellipticals. It doesn’t seem like they clean or look over the equipment often. 2 days in a row the same bathroom was out of toilet paper and it only got tended to when I said something. I see someone made this same comment in their review a few weeks ago so they’re obviously not taking care of it. Then the paper towels out on the floor in one specific station was empty during several visits over a span of 5 days. I’d use the same treadmill and bike each time and there was a paper towel in the cup holder over a span of 4 days on both machines. Due to the way it was crumpled I knew it was the same paper towel….I also wish they’d stay open longer on the weekends as 7pm is early. overall I’m glad I was just passing through and this isn’t my permanent spot

Stopped through from Denver on a road trip . Friendly staff , variety of equipment and facilities were fine. There are not daily use lockers with the adjustable combo , just locker room lockers where you bring your own lock.

Like the fact they have lots of cardio machines hate the fact that for a gym that touts their cleanliness I have gone in to the restroom more than once and found them completely out of toilet paper and in some cases that condition lasted for 2 or 3 days. Also when I spend 2-3 hours working out and the person behind the membership desk not only doesn't move from behind the desk but never looks up from their phone to greet members.

I go to about 5 planet fitness clubs in Texas and Nm on the regular every week.. though they are all great establishments, my favorite would have to be Roswell NM, and I say this because of the cleanliness!! It is always spotless!! Great job Roswell!!

Got a membership and then went for a shower. None of them had hot water. 3 were missing showerheads. 1 showerhead that is there barely let's out any water. All other planet fitness locations I've been to were immaculate.

Been traveling across the country going to planet fitness gyms for a month (a new one each night) and these by far had the worst showers.

Zero water pressure or temperature. Most of the shower heads were broken.
Only giving two stars for the friendly staff
Showers receive a zero out of five.

Really showing a lack of care on part of the ownership.
