I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to receive my 200hr certification at SWEAT. The curriculum was thoughtful and comprehensive. The instructors were all deeply experienced with specialized knowledge to share. There is so much more to the school than just learning how to cue asanas. I was deeply affected and inspired by the depth at which we explored yogic principles and meditation. SWEAT is such special place. The teachers and community there will forever have a piece of my heart. ♥️

Sweat yoga school was a life changing experience. I can only extend extreme gratitude to Marisa, David, Allison, Julie, Jessica, Nathan, and all other instructors. All of the teachers at SYS are competent and patient. They provide a clear, concise, and an extensive curriculum. It was evident that all the SYS teachers truly cared about my journey and my learning. Furthermore, it was evident that the costs of school were being utilized and turned back around for a better learning experience. They provided books, journals, and a binder with all the necessary materials and resources I needed to succeed. Also included in the cost, was an unlimited membership to the studio to practice and aide in achieving the 200 practice hours. SYS is designed so the 200 practice hours are balanced throughout the duration of the program. Instructors often checked in to ensure that getting the hours completed, was manageable alongside other scholastic expectations. I would highly recommend Sweat yoga school to anyone who is interested in greater exploration of their yoga practice regardless of intentions to teach or not. I truly feel my life has improved and an entire world has just opened to me after completing Sweat yoga school. Thank you, Sweat, and to all who contributed to the program!

They have a warm and welcoming vibe. Instructors make you feel like you’re family and part of their yoga community. They foster a nurturing environment where everyone feels welcome, seen and heard, regardless of sex, race, gender, age or athletic ability. Whether you’re a novice or have had years of yoga instruction this place is for you! Their RYT 200 hour program was excellent and their teachers were second to none! They were supportive and mindful of each individual’s journey and practice. The community and friendships you gain from being a part of their teaching program is nothing short of amazing. The women I met at Sweat Yoga School were nurturing and supportive and I hope to carry those friendships I created for a lifetime. To see their transformations from start to finish was extraordinary. While I participated in the yoga school for my own personal practice, I witnessed each of us bloom week by week. Healing can be found if you’re brave enough to take the first step and walk through their doors. So what are you waiting for? Go and SWEAT!

Sweats hot Pilates class is everything I didn’t know I needed.
Rheanna brought such a grounded, empowering energy to the room—it’s the perfect balance of calm and challenge. The heat took the workout to another level, but her cues are so clear and intentional that I felt safe pushing myself. I left feeling lighter, and honestly just more in tune with my body.

Been going here for a couple years and I love the instructors! However this is the only hot yoga studio I’ve ever been to that doesn’t clean the studio in between classes. Would be 5 stars if the studio was cleaner.

Sweat made me fall in love with hot yoga and hot Pilates! Caitlin’s hot Pilates classes are especially amazing—her energy and motivation make every session worth it. Also, she has amazing taste in music!! The classes are an incredible workout, leaving you feeling strong and refreshed. I’ve taken about 50 classes, and I wish I could take this studio with me as I am moving states. If you’re looking for a great workout, I highly recommend Sweat!

What a gem of a studio to discover what warm & hot yoga are about! I've recently returned to yoga (@ 2x week for the past 4 months) and was hesitant to try a hot or warm yoga class. I first tried warm - an excellent entry point for my level and interest. The radiant heat at SWEAT Yoga is more comfortable than heat blowing on you. The Static 60 class moved a little more quickly and at a higher temp. It felt great... at the end! More experienced practitioners and regulars at heated classes might enjoy the Flow classes. A benefit I didn't expect to find after the heated classes was no muscle soreness. All basic equipment is provided, and mat towel rental is available. Showers after the class rotate quickly so you can be fresh as you head to your next activity. SWEAT Yoga is a beautiful studio with a welcoming environment.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a class at Sweat Yoga Studio, and I can't praise it enough! From the moment you step inside, you feel the vibrant and welcoming energy that the owners and teachers have created. The community they've built here is amazing – it's a place where everyone feels at home and connected. Their commitment to the community is evident in their special classes for first responders, which truly highlights their dedication to making everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

A special shoutout to Jessica, the incredible instructor who led my class. Jessica has a unique gift for knowing exactly what her students need, even when we can't quite put it into words. Each session with her strikes the perfect balance – it's challenging yet deeply relaxing. She pushes you to your limits, encouraging growth and strength, while also guiding you to find peace and rejuvenation. By the end of her class, I felt both invigorated and centered.

Jessica's expertise and genuine care for her students make every class an exceptional experience. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting your journey, you'll find her approach both accessible and transformative. If you're looking for a place that offers not just great yoga, but also a strong sense of community and belonging, Sweat Yoga Studio is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Really clean, always have tissues and hair ties and even extras like hand sanitizer, deodorant in the bathrooms. The bathrooms/changing rooms are large enough that you have space to change out of sweaty clothes. There are like 4 showers, maybe 5? I love that they have extra long Manduka mats for everyone to use and they spray them down after every class. This means I only have to remember yoga towel and water bottle to get to class. I’ve been doing yoga since 2009 and this is the best hot yoga studio I’ve found, they really have a great thing going here. I love the puffy foam ceiling insulation, it’s fun to look at when I’m lying on my back. Also the teachers all rule - shout out to Alison, Lindsay, Susie, Marci and everybody else!

I’m fairly new to the studio and have had such a great experience so far. All of the teachers have been very welcoming and all seem to bring their own uniqueness to each class. There is definitely an extra mindfulness element that you don’t find in every studio. I appreciate the message that each teacher brings to the mat.

I particularly wanted to shout out Nathan, who has become a fast favorite after only a few classes. Not only is Nathan a great teacher, but seems to be a genuinely kind and caring human, focused on community.

The facility is also top notch! Great studio
and locker room. I look forward to continuing my yoga journey at Sweat!

BEWARE! Yoga will never be the same after going to Sweat :)
I moved away from Albuquerque over two years ago and have yet to find another studio that is anything like Sweat. I think about their classes often and miss it so much. Their teachers are absolutely amazing and the studio is top noche. They have the perfect balance of heat and humidity in the room and every class feels so nourishing to the body.

SWEAT is a very special place. The instructors each offer a unique set of gifts that will challenge you in all the right ways. The facility is beautiful and welcoming and the hot room is one of a kind. I have been practicing yoga at SWEAT for over eight years now and am grateful a studio of this caliber exists in ABQ. I have continued my yoga journey at this studio through two pregnancies, a few surgeries, and a 200 hr yoga teacher training. I keep coming back for more because it truly is a one of a kind studio. 10/10 recommend.

If you are looking for mindful, breath to movement yoga - this is the place for you! The classes are unique as are the teachers. If you want to release tension, become more mobile, learn self control (mental and physical) through breath, there is a class for you. If you want to build core muscles or heal from an injury , there is a class for you. The classes are challenging, but in a way that make you feel strong and with a sense of renewal.
If you are a man reading this review, you won't be alone in class! If you’re looking for a challenging, fun, youthful vibe this is it. Thank you SWEAT!

This is a place worth celebrating. The teachers at SWEAT strike a remarkable balance between being highly knowledgeable and incredibly encouraging. Their guidance has been instrumental in my journey. One aspect that I've appreciated is the precise control over the studio's temperature and humidity. It's always perfectly maintained, creating an ideal environment for practice. I must say, having explored various studios in different locations, I can confidently assert that this studio stands out as the best. It's not only the finest in Albuquerque but holds its own as the best studio I've had the pleasure of practicing in, anywhere. I am grateful to have found this studio and look forward to many more inspiring sessions.

I really wanted to like this place, and maybe I just came on an off day, but this being my first class, I had expected to feel much more welcome. I was very quickly shown around (and the class room door was just pointed out and then the teacher quickly went back to the front). Ok, I get it - it’s a busy time getting people checked in. But then after class no one said a word to me. Not “how did you like the class?” or asked if I had any questions, or even a simple “enjoy the rest of your day.” I felt awkward. No one mentioned anything about membership options, which I was interested in, but I was never given an opportunity to inquire. I’ve practiced yoga for over 20 years in 5 different states and I hate to say it, but this place was kinda disappointing. I know not every experience is going to be perfect, and we all have off days; but, if I was the owner, I would want to know about a potential customer’s experience.

Also, I have to note that the Flow 60 class itself was pretty basic - little to no instruction if you wanted to take poses to the next level or maybe try an arm balance, except one time the instructor said if you wanted to go into a handstand you could (which almost seemed random). Missed opportunities to offer even basic arm balances like crow or side crow, maybe eight angle… You can truly cater to ALL levels if you just provide a few more advanced options for people to try. Maybe this is offered in other classes?

I started going to Sweat Hot Yoga about 5 years ago. Around that same time I started developing super powers...coincidence? Maybe.

The teachers are great! The studio is super clean and looks something like a Pinterest page. To an outsider you might be intimidated but it’s a super friendly place that is accessible for all. If you are a hand-stander, a first-time practitioner, or anywhere on the yoga spectrum you are going to get a beautifully designed sequence that challenges you at your own level.

Complimentary Yoga mats, yoga towels, shower towels, hipster soap and deodorant make the experience feel like a day at the spa.

Would recommend to a friend!

Pro tip: Ask for the “Infinity flow” off of the secret menu in one of Dave’s classes.

This place is the bomb. I started yoga due to an injury and this was the first studio in ABQ I tried. I was blown away by the amenities, the spiritual connections of the instructors, and how warm and welcoming everyone is. I left to go try more studios to make sure I am making the right choice, but let me tell you I am coming back. The only thing is I wish the studio did both hot and room temp yoga (although I get why they stick to one). I might just forego room temp altogether if it means I can come to this place!

The caliber of the teaching, the community, the space, and all that is offered makes SWEAT absolutely one of a kind. It is one of Albuquerque’s greatest gems. The amenities they offer free of charge like daycare (if you’re a member) and showers/towels/mats also makes the studio extra special, because it’s convenient and accessible for everyone. They also let you bring a guest for free with you if you’re a member which underscores their values for building community and cultivating a beautiful space for people to connect and grow as yogis. I would honestly have a hard time moving out of Albuquerque solely because I don’t think I’d be able to find a yoga studio that encourages and supports my practice and well-being the way SWEAT does.

Sweat Yoga Studio rocks! It's very "up town". Well designed, nicely decorated and a very friendly environment. I'm 70 years old with a fused spine and neuropathy. But, I still do what I can with floor exercises and lots of stretching. The room is hot by design. The heat makes my muscles relax more for the stretching. I'm the only guy in the room who can't do the balance stuff. So, I do different things than the class and nobody cares, especially me. Since I started, there's been improvement in my ability to bend down and pick up something off the floor without wretched pain. That's because of expert instruction from David the owner. It's a positive place to go, and I try to go every other day. Their web site is great for booking. When you book, It automatically schedules your calendar on your home computer. Really cool stuff . If you're into hot yoga, Sweat Yoga Studio is the real deal!

Sweat Yoga is my home yoga studio, and I would absolutely recommend the studio, and every single teacher, to every yogi in the Albuquerque area. I feel challenged in every class I take-whether it be to amplify my practice, or to learn when to scale it back-the teachers offer modifications for every level, creating a safe space to explore my practice. They really do create a feeling of community. On top of all that they have great, clean facilities and yoga mats/props to use.

I've tried a couple different "hot" yoga studios in town but never liked it (too stinky) until now. SWEAT Yoga is not as hot as other places, PLUS, it's beautiful and super clean! They have everything you need to get a great workout and clean up afterwards (mats, towels, q-tips, ponytail elastics... seriously, they thought of everything), so you only need to bring yourself and a change of clothes. Intro class is on Sat & Sun at 12pm! Signing up online is super easy... do it!
