I began with a 1 week trial and I am hooked! The owner, Pete is truly wonderful. The coaches are all fantastic and unique. Each class I am offered one on one instruction to ensure the proper form and safety (modifications if need be). It is a judgement free zone - you feel a warm welcome, like you are home! I am SO HAPPY to have found ALPHA and look forward to my fitness journey here with this awesome group of people!

Training Center that feels like home. From the owners to the coaches to the other members, everyone at ALPHA feels like family. The workouts are intense, fun and sweat inducing. I can’t say enough about the wonderful owners, Pete and Anne Jones and their team of trainers! I found Alpha via Groupon and never left. I’ve been to many interval training classes before Cross fit, Orange Theory...) and Alpha is by far the most fun, effective, non-judgment zone gym I’ve ever been to. The variety of classes throughout the week target and focus on different body parts, while getting a whole body workout at the same time. It’s fun, challenging and effective! It’s a GREAT place for beginners and athletes alike as each station offers different levels of intensity. No one is in competition with anyone else...everyone cheers everyone on. Camaraderie among the members makes all the difference. That camaraderie starts with the owners and their team of trainers. Alpha will always be my first stop when I’m in Westchester!

Really love this class and the instructors. I am an avid ultra endurance runner and have found incredible benefit to the strength /agility / core stabilizing workouts. Classs are fun, well taught and inspiring. Would encourage anybody looking to improve fitness / lose weight / and prevent injuries to come to class. Really a great workout.

Pete and the staff at Alpha are truly amazing. They helped me lose weight and get fit. I went from 235 lbs to 214 lbs (21-22) lbs. About 9.0 percent body fat loss with their guidance on proper meals / nutrition. With a challenging but engaging workout. The Staff who attend Alpha are a great group of people who help you / Motivate/ Inspire you to push your self. If you are looking to get fit / lose weight / prepare for a OCR / Spartan Race- then Alpha for you.

When I joined Alpha it was as part of their six week challenge where I was given a personalized meal plan, grocery list, meal prep tips, and unlimited classes for a great value. I’ve stayed on because the Alpha experience is truly unlike any other.

Hands down its one of the best gym experiences I’ve ever had. The workout classes are challenging and fun, and all of the instructors are great, very supportive and attentive. For every workout they give you options for different levels of difficulty, but push you to work harder. You get pretty much the same attention as you would from a personalized trainer at small group prices. Anne & Pete are also always available for questions or concerns and go above and beyond for their members. The community at alpha is equally as encouraging as the instructors/staff, and Alpha regular hosts or participates in marathons, challenges, and charity or fun special events.

Alpha (previously EPIC), is a phenomenal choice when thinking about HIIT classes. I've been to other workout studios through Classpass and what I found on google searches, but Alpha is still my favorite. Why? The trainers really focus on correcting form (they will go up to you and correct your poses), each class results in noticeable sweat, the workouts are effective and can be modified to be easier or harder, the community is very diverse and inclusive, and Pete is an all-around fantastic and invested owner who genuinely tries to know everyone.

This is my current favorite place for a good, challenging workout. Classes incorporate equipment like kettle bells, battle ropes, suspension, monkey bars. The instructors are great at helping everyone modify to make the workout challenging but doable for their individual fitness level -- it's so cool to see middle-aged folks with office jobs, ripped athletes, and everyone in between getting a good workout! After working out regularly for a couple months, I was eventually able to do monkey bars -- which I never learned how to do as a kid!

Coming into the facility on the first day, I felt like home. The place is clean, the trainers are top notch. This place challenges me and in the 5 weeks since starting I have lost 15 pounds and I can see abs. I can’t wait too see what I look like in 3 months of being here and so on. The workouts are hard and fun all in one. There are levels so you can always go to where you feel comfortable. Epic is good for all levels. The coaches watch the entire time and keep an eye on your form. I look forward to going to class everyday!!!

My boyfriend and I enjoy participating in fitness activities. We are more comfortable with going to the gym 3x/wk for weight training and cardio/endurance at Orange Theory. But we got content with that routine and we were looking for something challenging and exciting! THIS IS PERFECT. I get my booty kicked in every class thus far! I was intimidated at first but they provide options for individuals of all athletic levels. Each trainer has a different flare for their routine for that 45 minutes. The staff are extremely friendly and the facility is clean. Classes are very easy to book to accommodate anyone’s schedule. I highly recommend you contact them for your one week unlimited pass and see for yourself!

This place is absolutely epic. Alright I won't use that pun anymore, but seriously an absolutely amazing place to do some strength training.

I'd love to come every single day if I could, and it wouldn't be terribly difficult due to their fairly wide range of times every day, but my schedule is incredibly inflexible which makes it difficult.

However, as I said, if I could come every day I would, because no matter your strength, you will be challenged. You can make things as tough or as easy as you like (but mind you, easy isn't really.. well, easy).

My man Pete the owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and he's going to make sure to push you hard enough to make sure you'll get gains, but also make sure that you learn the technique and aren't overexerting yourself or putting yourself in a position that might hurt you. Pete isn't the only trainer here, though, and I can tell you every single trainer here (Wendy, Vince) is friendly, caring, will assure your technique is perfect, and will push you to reach higher milestones every time you go.

A lot of the workouts here are calisthenics, meaning they use your own body weight, but at the same time a lot of them use weights as well. The best way to have a well rounded body is by having a combination of calisthenics and weight training, and Epic is an example of that.

Finally, I gotta say that it's so much fun to exercise here. You'll see yourself getting stronger every time as you're able to lift bigger weights and do more reps every week, and the more you come, the more you see this. The community is awesome and I know I've said it like 3 times already but I'd come here every single day if I could.

If you live nearby, definitely come check this place out, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. (Once you get through those first few days of being insanely sore, that is :))

EPIC is a great gym that allows you to challenge yourself in ways you never thought possible. Prior to having 2 kids within the last 4 years, I worked out 5-7 days a week (for about 10 years) and then did NOTHING for 3 years. When a friend kept telling me about EPIC, I was ready to get back into working out. And wow, what a work out I am getting!! I LOVE it and have never challenged myself the way that the program and instructors do. I have not worked with all the trainers at EPIC, but I can tell you that Vince does an incredible job of motivating you and pushing you to challenge yourself. And both Vince and Sheryl watch every move that you make and help you to perfect each exercise. I LOVE it and think anyone interested in working hard and challenging themselves should give it a try!

I love coming here. Where traditional gyms offer routine, lack of direction and the opportunity to make excuses for less than stellar effort, EPIC certainly does not. With their daily training variety, attentive coaches, highly flexible class schedule and reasonable pricing you really can't go wrong incorporating visits here into your workout routine. Place is awesome :-)

I have found a home at Epic! Pete and his staff our fabulously talented athletes. It's all about functional training, and that's exactly what I was looking for. I have had a hip issue which I am overcoming because of their program design. I like the schedule, I like the location and I especially like the results. I have taken classes with both Pete and Vince. Both have entirely different teaching styles but rock the class in their own way. Each class offers new challenges to both the mental and physical aspects of development. The teachers guide you in the leveled movements so everyone at any fitness level can participate and feel like they killed it. Fun in fitness.
