CUSTOMER PSA: If you get a month-to-month membership, expect management to illegally charge you no matter how many times you attempt to cancel. As other reviewers have noted, they are stunningly rude and love to nickel-and-dime. I experienced multiple deceptive billing practices that violate NY State law. My membership price was raised without notice, the studio refused a legally-required refund, and cancellation was made unnecessarily difficult.
Under NY General Business Law Article 30, Section 624, health clubs (including yoga studios) must:
1) Allow membership cancellations up to 3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER the monthly renewal date, and provide a refund if you were already charged; and
2) Let you cancel your membership online if you were able to sign up online.
The studio does neither. They claim cancellation is only allowed if done 10 business days BEFORE renewal and do not provide an option to cancel online. Instead, they direct you to an email account which is amazingly unresponsive: it took me 11 days, multiple follow-ups, and a phone call before I ultimately got a derisive and unhelpful response.
They also raised my monthly price without advanced notice, did not allow me the opportunity to opt-out, and claimed their contract allows them to increase the price on customers at any time without notice (it doesn't).
Rather than continue arguing, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and won - not hard considering the studio’s practices are illegal. If you’ve been overcharged or denied a refund, you might consider doing the same and possibly filing a complaint on the NY State Attorney General's website.
It's a shame, because the classes themselves are great. But having good yoga teachers doesn't excuse a business from following basic consumer protection laws.

The studio is so beautiful; a gem in the neighborhood. I really enjoy the vibe in there. All the plants and natural light give it such an inviting and uplifting energy and I love that the space has personality — not just your ordinary out of the box studio. I took a Saturday morning class with Devlin and it was wonderful — a super energizing but paceful class. Perfect way to start the day 🩵

And Yoga has such a dope vibe! From the moment you step in, the energy is welcoming and grounding. I took a class with Maggie, and I absolutely loved her teaching style—thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly balanced between challenge and flow. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, this studio is a gem in BedStuy. Highly recommend!

The only reason I purchased a 5-month membership was so I could pause it during a 2-month visit to my family. Before committing, I specifically sought confirmation, as I was facing financial hardship and needed flexibility. I was assured this would be possible. However, when the time came to pause my membership, I was informed it wasn’t allowed because my membership was part of a promotion. I was misinformed, and the burden of their mistake was unfairly placed on me. Had I known, I would have chosen another studio that offered more flexibility. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I regret having to leave this two-star review.

Compared to other yoga studios I would not recommend this studio, as I prefer adjustments and corrections to the positions - that’s what a yoga studio gets a high rating for in my experience.

Love this studio! Well-decorated, clean, open space on the second floor with lots of light. I love Maya's aerial yoga class. So rare to find aerial yoga outside of Manhattan! I like to support a local & black-owned business :)

I go to And Yoga maybe about once a week for their aerial yoga and I absolutely love it. Maya and Paige are the absolute best instructors! They are extremely patient and by the end of the class you leave feeling completely relaxed. I've also impressed my friends/family with the tricks I've learned from them. The studio is really cute; super clean and and really pretty. They have little plants all over and it smells amazing. Also, its really easy to get to, there's always parking or the train is down the block. Definitely recommend anyone to check them out!

At the beginning of the year I decided that I wanted to build community outside of a professional setting and to get back into my yoga practice. I’d been passing the studio for years so naturally I decided to look into classes here. Plus it’s Black owned which is important for me.
I’ve been taking class here once a week for the past month with various teachers and each class has been great. While each teacher has their own vibe there’s consistency in the style of teaching. The teachers really focus on connecting your breath with your movement which surprisingly I don’t always find in the more commercial yoga studios. Overall the environment is warm, welcoming and tight knit. It’s perfect for folks who want a more intimate setting. They also have a discounted program for Black men on a sliding scale which is a lovely offering to the Bed Stuy community!

The manager was rude, communication was terrible, and the overall atmosphere was unprofessional with negative energy. I'm glad I made the decision to switch to a different studio

I have been regularly practicing yoga for 8 years now - I have lived all over the country and have belonged to many studios, but this studio is incredibly unique and it has hands down become one of my all time favorites. The staff is so incredibly kind and accommodating. Everyone is considerate and passionate. Each instructor is professional and timely, but also warm and inviting. I’ve really enjoyed the aerial classes, it has been so fun to add to my repertoire of movement - Maya, Paige and Sam are wonderful aerial instructors. I feel that the pace has been good for a beginner but challenging enough to keep me interested. The studio itself is inviting, calming, spacious and clean. I always feel at ease in this studio. I am very grateful to live nearby.

this is one gem of a studio! I have moved with this group for a few years now and they are the most consistent, kind, and knowledgeable instructors and team in the fitness space. I come in feeling welcomed, I leave feeling worked out, and feel good coming back for more every single week (sometimes day!).
the studio is gorgeous and conveniently located off the AC and various bus lines, smells great and vibes are right.
And Yoga is a place you can trust, feel cared for, and find community in. It’s hard to create spaces like this and they do a wonderful job with their students.

I just joined this month but I already love it! The studio is gorgeous and kept very clean. The instructors I've had have all been great and encouraging! Evening classes are busier but I've never had trouble booking a spot. Customer service is prompt over email as well.

I’ve taken classes at And Yoga Studios and I can say I truly love the classes I’ve taken! The space is calming and soothing. The structure of the classes is very well structured and the instructors are very supportive! I’m not a pro but I don’t feel left out because of how well they incorporate all levels! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a lowkey learning environment, where you can go at your own pace and be supported!

I’ve been going to this studio for the last couple of years now and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is always so warm and welcoming. I don’t feel like just a name when I go which means so much to me. It’s a really great way for me to connect with my community and get to know the instructors and the other people attending. I’ve done the flow, prenatal, aerial classes and workshops and all have been such great experiences!

My daughter and I wanted to try aerial yoga. Google search yielded a beginner class at And Yoga Studios. Not knowing anything about the studio and absent a personal recommendation, I thought it best to go with an open mind and just see if I like it. My initial impression of the studio was very positive: it was clean, with a relaxed zen vibe, but with an energy created by the bold colorful fabrics hanging from the metal beams on the ceiling. The instructor, Maya, had prepared the studio for the exact number of students. She was friendly and professional, gave excellent guidance, and made astute observations and corrections. I also thought the playlist was well curated. At the end of class I felt relaxed yet energized. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend And Yoga to anyone interested in aerial yoga. Notably, the studio also offers May yoga.

Their communication with customers is very unprofessional and incredibly rude. When asking questions you are provided with hostility. The behavior displayed goes against their claims of intent. If someone is seeking a professional yoga studio I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Added: When seeing a negative review this could have been met with, "I'm so sorry for your experience. This is not the response we wish for customers to have. We would love to opportunity to change your mind. Please contact us and let us know directly (which I did btw) and we would love to resolve this. And Yoga aims to be a peaceful and beneficial studio for the community we thank you for showing interests and hope to hear from you soon."
Instead, more unprofessionalism.
