Blackbox Wellness is a small family owned gym with everything you need for a good workout...weights, machines, cardio equipment and classes. It has a nice retail space for high quality supplements, wellness products, infra red sauna, massage and specialized physical therapy. It's friendly, clean, and it's open 24/7 so you can workout whenever you want!

Gorgeous, clean gym. I love the ability to go whenever my schedule allows. The shop attached has all of the best quality products that you truly cannot get anywhere else but online, its so nice to have everything in one spot!

Love the Gym, space is great, all modern equipment for what you need to do, Cardio/ Strength training, and tons of classes to choose from in addition. Jess and Steve the owners are wonderful people, very knowledgeable in their field! The location is great in the R&S plaza in Holland NY.. check them out you won’t be disappointed!

This is no question a 5 out of 5 star review. This place is amazing. The owners are so personable, caring and respectful. The price is on point. They offer so may services. Gym is clean and organized. Plenty of equipment to use. Not to busy ever. Good music on while working out. Core values of the business are on point to all my beliefs. 100% recommend. Take your health and fitness serious and this is the place to start.

Great new Local Family Owned Gym & Wellness shop in the Holland / South Wales Area!

Swung by the location about a week & half ago as they begin opening and while they do have another room they are still finishing as of 02/01/25 I wanted to provide my experience.

Pricing: Gym: attractive and competitive on the gym side! $59/Mo for Gym Only Members | $99/Mo for Gym + Classes (Great option for those who enjoy more social workouts and are motivated off of seeing others achieve their goals.) Annual Membership on Gym only is a good price at $599!

Wellness Shop: Fair pricing all around I’m not expert on natural wellness products however when it comes to gym nutrition and protein powders my 10+ Year experience is pretty good. They’ve chosen the Jocko Brand which is a fantastic choice all around for 31 Servings of any flavor protein at $39.99 before tax this is a bang for your buck not to mention your supporting a Brand owned by the world famous Jocko Willink, any former military should be excited too see this! Quality supplements, Great Brand and a feeling of paying it forward when you buy.

Extras: Infrared sauna $35/ Session & by appointment, they also over a discounted 5-Pack for 5 Sessions at $125. Surprisingly the infrared sauna here can go as high as 165 Degrees, my fellow sauna people should appreciate that as typically we target 175 Degrees + for 20mins or longer based on available science. The owner has discussed creating a sauna membership which would be very exciting to see.

Massage - Not much details but also not something I’m particularly interested in, however I think this is a smart choice for them as long term having a massage therapist with good availability is definitely a competitive advantage! Keyword here being availability which is where almost all gyms struggle.

Gym Experience: Well equipped so far, plenty of options for all forms of fitness style including BodyBuilders / Cardio Freaks / Agility & Turf Nerds & Hardcore powerlifters. After some discussion the owner has said they will offer an outdoor area during the summer with potentially tractor tires which has me excited. I’ll be pleased too see this place once the final room is open and the equipment they’ll have as their main fixtures are where they want them to be!

Staff: So far so good, as someone with three active memberships concurrently and over 10+ Years at 100s of gyms both American and abroad I’ve learned to temper my expectations and maintain professional distance. I think any reasonable person will be satisfied and maybe even pleased!

Atmosphere: I had my concerns back before they opened as their website really talked a lot about classes. After three in person visits I am happy to report this is in fact a gym! Not a studio! Locker rooms are well equipped for the early morning grinders before work, music is adequate if you forget your headphones and a cooler w preworkout and protein shakes all connected to an easy venmo QR code!

Overall Rating: 4/5! Perfect location, wide variety of equipment, great accommodations, good selection of extra products and services all for a fair and reasonable rate! I’m happy it’s all locally owned the corpo gyms NEED more competition! Pro Tips: 1. Go with the annual membership to maximize your value and savings. 2. If your heat freak like me ensure you have them warm up your sauna to 165 Degrees 30 Mins BEFORE your allotted time (this means you need to plan around the average users here)
