I have worked with many Personal Trainers for over 20+ years. I am just one of those people who need a personal trainer to hold me accountable to make sure I go to the Gym. When I started a year and half ago at Bod-RE-mod, the 1st day Liz (my trainer) took the time to learn about my workout goals and more importantly my body/physical limitations. As a person over 50, I really appreciated that Liz crafted a personalized exercise program and not just a generic workout. This is truly were Bod-RE-mod standouts among other local gyms and private workout studios. I remember during week one I asked Liz "why are you not putting me on a treadmill or stepper for 15-20 minutes." She actually laughed out-loud, and said "so I have time to check my phone and emails?" She instead had me fully engaged in a phased workout program to tone my body but not break my body. It made me think back to all the times I was on the treadmill or stepper and my trainer was checking their phone. How crazy I never thought about that aspect of the workout. Especially, since I have a stepper at home and Liz started encouraging me to do that on my days off, which really helped me reach my physical and workout goals faster than previous training experiences. Speaking of goals, Liz is the only trainer who took me seriously about being able to touch my toes. Within 6 months, I was touch my toes, which gave me the much needed flexibility to reach the next level of physical training. Bottom line, if you want a generic trainer who is going to give you a 20 something workout, and potentially injure your body, go somewhere else. If you want a personalized and engaging workout program, that won't break your body, then walk or run (whatever you can do) to bod-RE-mod, where they will meet you and your body where you are, and help you get to new physical and capable places.

Liz has a unique way of making you comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. Physically, she makes me uncomfortable in a safe and effective way. This allows for enhanced fitness and performance. However, this is nothing like "the lift things and put them down" culture that is often associated with intense training. She listens well, especially to my medical/injury history, which prevents me from taking one step forward and two steps back. Lastly, her positive energy and authenticity make me dread the physical discomfort of the session much less! I've been a client here for almost 6 months now and highly recommend Liz! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and extremely observant which you don't get at a random gym. I came to her with some injuries and goals for my body, really wanting to achieve those goals while being careful about my limitations and I am very glad I did. She provides me with workouts that never hurt any previous injury (and she always asks how my body feels that day in case she needs to change my workout plan), are always different therefore never boring, and I am definitely reaching my goals. Working out with a true professional that makes sure I'm doing everything safely and effectively is priceless!! She provides meal plans and has a sauna too. Liz is everything one could want in a physical trainer: knowledgeable, fun, fit and intuitive. She keeps workouts engaging and interesting and knows when to push or when to hold back. She works with a diverse client base, making her equally as effective training a fit 20-something as she is with an 80-year old with decreased mobility. Liz does not push a specific dogma or training approach but rather really listens to the clients needs and goals. I initially came to Liz as a way to get out of my lackluster pandemic-induced home workouts and figured I'd use her for a few months. Liz is incredible if your looking to put the hard work in to improve your body. I decided to get back to gym in February and after 45 days realized I was always doing the same routine and seeing no results. I tried out Liz for 2 weeks and realized I was doing everything wrong and was essentially wasting my time in the gym to firm up and build strength. I have now been going twice a week since then and every session is intended to confuse and work the body in a way it did not expect. Your body can take 40 percent more than what you think you can take and she will get you into that zone. Lastly she has a great app and builds my workouts in the gym when we are not together. This combination has served me well and the results are showing. So if your serious about a change in your health, I highly recommend Liz, she is the real deal.

Professional and knowledgeable!! I initially sought a personal trainer (enter Liz!) when getting back into fitness after a back injury. At the time she was working at a different location, but I followed her when she opened her own studio because the experience was so great and my results working with her were evident. She tailors my workouts to my goals and adapts them as my goals are met/change. She knows exactly how to push her clients for the better. I have been training with Liz since July and I cannot say how much I love having met her, started getting trained by her, and training with her. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and smart about all things exercise and nutrition. She listens to me when I need to back off and pushes me when I am being lazy. She isn’t pushy about any agenda, she works with you and your exact needs and adjust as your needs adjust. Overall, 10/10 if I could give it here, cannot recommend her as a personal trainer and nutritionist enough.
