I would recommend B&B to anyone looking to maintain, develop, and especially improve their physical, spiritual, and energetic well-being.
I came to B&B about two and a half years ago. At the time, I carried a lot of tension in my body, felt depressed, and was lost. I had tried different ways to solve my problems, but nothing worked for me. I didnโ€™t know what to do.
However, I was ready for helpโ€”and I can confidently say that I found it at B&B. My physical condition has improved significantly, and I now feel happy, full of love, and incredibly positive.
I still face challenges, but I am learning and practicing how to approach them in a way that doesnโ€™t hurt me but instead helps me grow and become a better version of myself.

I recently returned from the "Wow Meditation Tour" and feel deeply grateful to my Masters for making this journey truly a "Wow" experience.
Over just six days, I witnessed breathtaking wonders of nature and experienced moments of awe that filled me with deep emotion. We began our journey in Arizona, exploring Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, downtown Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. Along the way, we visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Horseshoe Bend, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and Zion Canyonโ€”finally concluding our adventure in Las Vegas.
Every destination was an unforgettable "Wow" moment, leaving me with memories that will stay with me forever.

A month ago I signed up for Yoga classes with Body & Brain of Bayside and I could not be happier that I made the decision to. I was experiencing upper right back and neck pain for over three years... saw two different neurologists who referred me for physical therapy that only provided temporary relief. since joining Body & Brain of Bayside, I feel like yoga is finally addressing the root issue of physical and emotional stress in addition to providing effective with breathing and relaxation technics. What I love the most about Body & Brain is the care and concern that the instructors demonstrate by checking up on you if you have missed classes that makes you feel part of community where your health and wellness is truly paramount. Body & Brain also provides periodically other events such as seminars and activities for members and family members that helps promote and support mindfulness, physical mental wellness. I enjoy both the studio and online classes and i look forward to continuing my wellness journey with Body & Brain of Bayside.

I started body and brain yoga 3 weeks ago. When I first started, I was in so much physical pain in my shoulders, intestines, lower back, and neck. I was always slouching even though I am a positive person. I couldnโ€™t go up a flight of stairs without getting winded.y energy levels were SO LOW. I felt like I wasnโ€™t going to live many more years.

Iโ€™ve been taking classes in person and online 4-6 times per week and for the last week have been doing my own practice at home.

The more I do, the better I feel. Itโ€™s become a new way of living for me. I no longer feel pain in my gut and am able to eat solid foods again, choosing the ones that support my body. I can run!!! My balance is stronger. I am more connected to my body than Iโ€™ve ever been which is helping me to make better choices whether on diet, at work, or with my family.

My body and mind are healing and my confidence is growing stronger each day. Thank you so much Masters Sky, Fred, and Dahn! Forever grateful.

When I walked into Body & Brain I suffered from severe anxiety and nervousness. That was three months ago. True, my anxiety still exists , BUT with my two a week sessions at Body & Brain I gave learned how to soothe, relax an calm myself. During the covid-19 pandemic it became necessary for me to find a way to exercise at home. I was searching for a place that offered Tai Chi and happened upon Body and Brain. Master Sky spent time counseling me about their approach which to tell the truth for me was very novel. I enjoy the classes and in spite of having limited Mobility, I feel I have gained much from attending them since April. I'm not a real student of yoga, Tai Chi is more my interest however I find the yoga classes intriguing, challenging, and quite beneficial. I truly enjoy the instructors and look forward to my sessions which I take throughout the week. Another plus is the wonderful variety of workshops that body and brain offer. Most recently I signed up for the Tai Chi experience. It's quite challenging and helpful to me. My Mobility strength and balance are improving since I joined Body and Brain as shown recently when I tripped on a curb outside and fell. I got up with a little assistance from a friend but was able to continue my walk and to stand in line with him at the post office for quite a while. I came home, did my tapping on the areas that were hurting and did not suffer any permanent or long-lasting damage. Kudos to the team at Body and Brain, you're really helping us.

I joined Body and Brain a little bit over a year ago. I literally crawled into the center, that's how bad my condition was. Yet, I was not sick sick, it was all the stress taking toll at me. I started by attending regular classes two to three times a week. Few months later I noticed one major improvement. For many years in a row I suffered from seasonal allergy. I was miserable every fall and spring. Last fall was the first time in a long while that I did not develop any allergy. No sneezing, no runny nose, no watery eyes. No medications. Since I have continued through the spring and until now there have not been a single sign of allergy symptoms so far. Generally I feel much better, more energetic, calm and focused. Another major improvement is that I can manage my scoliosis back pain better. As long as I regularly do meridian stretching and core strengthening exercises my back does not bother me as much as before. I recommend Body and Brain yoga to everybody.

I have been a member of Great Neck Body & Brain Yoga - Tai Chi for about 3 years now. Before I became a member, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. I was unable to function. I was disoriented, had trouble concentrating. I could not drive. I could not get on an airplane. I was unable to socialize with family and friends. I had no appetite and as a result, I lost weight. The doctorโ€™s put me on anxiety medication, but this only made me feel worse. I was at Wittโ€™s End. I started to use Yoga as an outlet to fight anxiety. I started going to yoga classes. I noticed that I was not as disoriented after I took the classes. I continued with the classes and started to see additional improvements after a few months. My appetite started coming back. I felt better about myself. I started socializing again. I am so glad that I started these Yoga classes and I plan on continuing to take Yoga classes and to do Yoga exercises every day as I like the way I feel. I have now gained back most of the weight that I had lost.

From the very first day 3/01/2011 it was passion for the practice. I felt comfortable in the center and I felt at ease. Although the classes were a challenge because of my weight, I never felt lost. I always felt that i belonged in the room. 14 years later I teach class, I work in outreach programs and I pass the principals of the practice on to others. Principals such as have a good day, you can do it!!!!, heal your body through your awareness and your knowledge and understanding of your body. All the instructors are great fun and each have their own style. Everyone is just so friendly and open. There's a wide range of age and skill so it doesn't feel overwhelming. Honestly speaking, I felt hesitant at first but my aunt pushed me a great deal to try them out and I'm glad she did. This is more of a relaxation, energy, stretching type of yoga, not the intense heated kind like I thought of when hearing the word "yoga". Years of severe depression, stress, and a sedentary lifestyle at the age of 25 wreaks major havoc on the body. I was at the point where I was out of breath and couldn't even walk a block without something hurting. Also had a pinched nerve where I couldn't bend but got it treated and the stretching we do here is helping to strengthen the area. I'm slowly making progress and it's an achievement by itself. I've only gone a handful of times but this is something I need/want to continue. My anxiety/panic attacks have lessened from a few times a week to rare. The breathing and focusing helps me not to think as much. I have a long way to go but I'm already starting to feel like a different person and everyone says they see it in my face. I came in feeling hopeless, angry, and heartbroken but all I know is that I feel much lighter, much better after every session. I'm not saying this place is going to magically cure whatever you got, it's going to take a lot of hard work and the first step is to want to change. I'm still struggling with my issues but I don't feel so alone or lost anymore. I can see myself being happy, positive, confident, stronger, etc if I keep at it. I can't wait to be full of energy again, I have forgotten all these wonderful feelings. I'm in the process of relearning how to live, not for someone else but for me. There is so much I've missed out on but not anymore. I'm ready for change and they're helping me to do that, I'm so grateful. Even when I'm feeling under the weather, they reach out to me and give me that little nudge I need to get up and go. Even got mom to join and she enjoys it very much. It's always a good time there. I absolutely and highly recommend this amazing place, there is no hint of regret on my end!

i love DAHN yoga ,it easy but yet profound ,as you work on your three physical and spiritual and emotional (energy) bodies ,with simple yoga moves and brain waves vibration and meditation in one hour all together your body heals it self :)
when i start DAHN yoga 4 years ago i was very scared and depress because my Dr. told me i have PSC and in 3 years or so l will lose my liver :(
after just few weeks of doing DAHN yoga i felt happy and healthy and grateful and found peace in me :-) they have extra classes that teaches about life principle .DAHN yoga masters are life coach too,they are loving ,humble, sincere ,positive human that always there to assist you:) today i live my life joyfully and i m so thankful
