I didn't know what Pilates was until my sister asked if I wanted to sign up for classes with her. I had no idea what to expect, but since I was being super lazy at home and not doing any workouts at the time, I figured it was a great opportunity. Now, two years later, we're still going strong - thanks to Ms. Gayoon Shin, her amazing classes, and of course, my classmates (my sister and her friend).

Ms. Gayoon is an incredible instructor. She always speaks in a soft tone, but during class, you can hear the passion in her voice for Pilates and Gyrotonic. She's fully committed to making sure everyone is doing the movements properly and challenging themselves. When she demonstrates the moves, she makes them look so easy - until you try them yourself and realize they're absolute killers! LOL I always leave class with a good sweat, and her sessions are so varied and dynamic that they never feel boring.

On a more personal note, I suffer from depression and anxiety, and being in her class allows me to completely disconnect from the noise in my head and just focus on the movement. That one hour has been incredibly therapeutic, and my therapist even praises me for sticking with it for over two years.

I plan to continue taking her classes for as long as my schedule allows, and I highly recommend Ms. Gayoon to anyone looking to get into Pilates or Gyrotonic. Just a heads-up though - I've heard she's in high demand and pretty booked! ;)

After I started coming here my friends have noticed the changes in my body. My legs and arms have toned up so much in the last year. The instructor has very positive energy and helps me feel confident in doing all the exercises in class. I highly recommend coming here if you’re lucky enough to get a spot!

I’ve been attending this Pilates class for the past two years, and it’s the first physical exercise I’ve stuck with for this long in my life. It made a huge difference in my body and overall well-being. The instructor is incredibly thorough and teaches with great attention to detail, making sure you understand the movements and perform them correctly. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend GaYoon as a gyrotonic and pilates instructor. I have had private lessons at a few studios in Manhattan and Flushing now and she is definitely the best of them all. I am born with scoliosis so have constant pain in my back and shoulders. After sessions with GaYoon, my pain is gone. Her background in ballet also gives her a deep understanding of the body so every session feels customized and varied.

Her sessions are always different so I always learn something new and feel challenged. I am always looking forward to my classes with GaYoon. She is the most enthusiastic teacher out there! My husband will also be starting private sessions with her soon.

After a full year of going here, I can confidently
recommend this place for those not only interested in pilates, but also stretching, yoga and the up and coming gyrotonic exercise! Prior to working out here, I had very weak core strength but there has been vast improvements. My shoulder and lower back pain have also improved from consistent strengthening and stretching. There’s only great things to say about this studio, from the clean, aesthetic and calming atmosphere to the plethora of workout equipment to choose from. However, the cherry on top is the sweet instructor!! She is super invested in your health and improvement week over week. She makes working out fun and well worth it due to her upbeat and down to earth personality! I’m always recommending this place to friends and hope you’ll try for yourself one day - you won’t regret it :)

She’s the best instructor I’ve ever had! I’ve attended multiple Pilates classes with different instructors before I got to know the Body Line Design Pilates, Gyrotonic. I can assure you she’s the best ever!
I’ve been taking her class for over six months now, and my body
posture has been greatly improved. I love how passionate and motivational she is when teaching, and she really gives 100%.
I really enjoy her class.
Highly recommend! 10 out of 5 stars!

I have been taking classes for over 3 months now and I'm honestly so happy and feel way more confident in my posture. I have also learned so much about using muscles I haven't used before and I'm so grateful to my teacher for being attentive to my back, shoulder, and neck pain. She is also so motivating and always makes me feel good after a session. I highly recommend!!!

아무리 병원을 다녀도 안나았던 어깨가 자이로토닉 몇번 만에 통증이 사라졌습니다. 정말 신기했어요

I have been several places manhattan flushing locations but Ga yoon is the best teacher I have ever had. She is very professional. Me and my husband is taking the class due to lower back injuries, and it really helped and even think it is better taking the class than going to pain clinic. I can feel her sincerity every class.
