I have been working with Ryan for a few months now. He has been amazing at getting me to train harder than I ever would have on my own. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable not just on workout techniques but also why I will want to do an exercise specific way. If I am feeling any pain, Ryan is quick to tweak the movement to relieve the discomfort. He will also explain why I am experiencing the discomfort. I look forward to my workouts with Ryan.

I trained with Michelle for a bit and really enjoyed it. She always challenged me in a supportive way and helped me push past my limits. Plus she has a great personality and I looked forward to working out !
The workouts were motivating, and I saw and felt real progress during my time there. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great trainer!
Also met the owners and they were nice and accommodating, this is a small gym but don’t underestimate it!

Every session (with Michele)I continue to improve physically and mentally. I cannot believe how fun and effective this training has been! The exercises concentrate on compound movements which target multiple muscle groups, helping you build strength, improve balance, and boost overall fitness with fewer exercises. As a just turned 57 yo woman this is exactly what I needed in this stage of my life to combat muscle loss + weakness, increased weight gain, osteoporosis etc...

I have been working with Michele for about 4 months now. It has been such a fun and positive experience for me. Absolutely love my weekly sessions !!! Michele is awesome , patient, and plans a great workout each time. She keeps me in check so that I can gain strength overtime without pushing too hard! Been coming weekly for about 3 months and continuing to see noticeable positive changes. I can’t believe I just did three sets of push ups when I was barely able to execute 1 proper one when I started. Thanks brains and brawn and thank you Michele !!!

I had been in decent shape on my own but working with Dillon as my personal trainer at Brains & Brawn has been a game changer. Dillon's expertise and personalized approach have brought out the best in my workouts. On my own strength training had always taken a backseat to running but within a few months working at Brains & Brawn I have built more muscle than I ever did by myself. This place is a hidden gem! If you are looking to step up your fitness or just starting out, this is the place to go. The trainers here are incredibly knowledgeable and work with each individual to reach their goals. No cookie cutter approach. B&B has been life changing for me. I started working with Dillon in July. This has been a life changing experience for me. The support and direction Dillon gives has been incredible. I have struggled for years to lose weight and exercise. I usually give up after 8/10 weeks. Dillon reminds me to “keep the eye on the prize”. He has helped me to do things I never thought I could successfully do. His slow methodical training, one step at a time, has bought me closer to my goals. My overall health has greatly improved, as well as my necessary weight loss. He has guided my food plan and, I have made successful changes I never thought I could change. I have no doubt that he could help anyone.

Brains & Brawn, Inc is incredible!! After 5+ years at OTF, I felt I needed 1-on-1 training to reach bigger, stronger, and more personalized fitness goals. I've been training with Kayla for >1.5 years and have seen noticeable results that started small and have built-up overtime. We always tailor my work-outs to my current goals - whether it be something small like focusing on; full body/abs for the summer, speed for an upcoming 5K or 10K race, endurance for a longer race OR something big like looking my BEST on my wedding day! After every dress-fitting we compared the pictures to see what we needed work on. My Day 1 dress fitting -> my wedding was day and night! My upper back, arms and shoulders looked better than I could have imagined with definition and tone that popped in pictures and in person. Looks aside, my workouts are incredible. I feel stronger everyday, challenged, empowered to reach a PR every class, my lower back and neck pain is resolving, and feel Kayla, Dylan, Dane and the entire team have my best interest at heart and motivate me every week. I come to every class excited and leave every class pumped at what I achieved. Kayla also gives me a little homework & guidance for what to tackle on my own before my next class. I couldn't ask for more. Incredible personal training, would highly recommend to anyone!!

I am a serious fitness fanatic who has weight lifted 2.5 to 3 hours per day, 6 days per week for years. I have had other highly touted and extremely successful personal trainers who compete in Mr. Olympia and all the other international competitions, appear in TV and film, and train other competitive body builders.
But Dillon is in a different category; I don't have enough superlatives to describe Brains & Brawn. I made more progress in a month with him than in nine months with my last trainer. And I am listing only one hour a day five days a week and eating like a normal human again.
Beyond helping me build the brawn through a proven and repeatable methodology that eschews a ridiculous and unsustainable diet, Dillon brings the brains: he explains in plain English what you are doing and why it is working. I ask probing questions and I get detailed answers and never evasion or defensiveness.
Dillon is a life-long learner who is not resting on the laurels conferred by his Masters Degree from Columbia University or his successes training sports teams at Syracuse University. He is working towards a second Masters and he has a group of carefully selected mentors in niche areas who are guiding him in various aspects of extra curricular mind/body fitness education and the expansion of his already thriving business. I have been a Chief Technology Officer for tech startups for over a decade. I have been mentoring people for twenty years on career management. And I am learning a lot from Dillon. I am trying to convince my sons to go to him.
I really like Dillon personally. He has exceptionally high emotional intelligence and wonderful interpersonal skills. He's as much a life coach as he is a strength and conditioning guru. Dillon is an extremely smart, thoughtful, sincere, serious, focused person who will guide you to exceptional fitness in a manner that is super efficient, balanced, relaxed, sustainable, and a lot of fun. He gets my highest recommendation as a personal trainer and as a human being.

After many years of group classes, and a bunch of personal trainers, I found Kayla (and Dillon). It has changed exercise for me. Still don’t love it, but the exercises used, along with the explanations as to why it’s done that way, has opened a new world for me. It proves it takes brains to get brawn.
