I’m up visiting my Dad who is at Strong and I wanted something healthy as I sat by the Erie Canal and took a moment to Pause Breathe Reflect. Such a peaceful and welcoming store. I can only comment on the wonderful smoothie I got but I would love to come back to take a class.

Breathe is always a go to for us when we’re in town! The yoga classes are consistently wonderful (we had an incredible class with Betsy this morning, thank you for your lovely assists and flow) and the juice bar is such a delicious and healthy treat afterwards. Not to mention the gift shop and overall atmosphere is lovely.

Unbelievable experience of insensitivity to a baby that I have ever seen. We were at the juice bar on Tuesday with my 7 mo. old granddaughter who needed some hot water to warm her milk. There was no one else in the store or in the juice bar. We asked a young woman for some hot water, ordered two drinks and bought cookies, spending around $27.There were two people working behind the counter and one in the back kitchen area. So, we were outnumbered staff to customers. The young woman that we were working with was visibly irritated when we asked her for the water first, before she made our drinks. She told us that that she was very busy, though there was no one else in the cafe, and she had support staff. She gave us the water and we proceeded to warm the baby's bottle. The water became cold, so we asked apologetically for more warm water. She told us that she would give us some, but that it would be the last warm water we could have because she was out. Wow! She couldn't have been more insensitive or rude. And, access to water to fill up the kettle was two steps away, which, shortly after, I watched her colleague go to fill it up. We did get the water, and our baby was happy, but I felt it was necessary to leave this review of a place that is suppose to exude peace. I was sorely disappointed.

I’ve really been enjoying the foundations classes on Thursdays in Pittsford … it’s really all about the instructor for me. I’ll go back again and again if I connect with someone’s teaching style and the schedule works for me. (Ive taken yoga from 5 different Rochester locations in the last ten years.)

As far as hot yoga, Pittsford Breathe probably has the hottest temp of all the local hot yoga studios (some of which were part of the Breathe franchise until Fall 2022) AND has the essential element of natural light. IMO, mat spacing in the hot studio is quite close together and low ceilings make me feel a bit less expansive in my movements.

Food is great.
Juices are delish.
Good variety of class times offered.

I think charging for mat rental is bizarrely commercial. This is the only studio I’ve ever seen do this. I would expect a studio to have at least a couple spares on hand for people who forget their mats. *Shrug*

Overall, really grateful for this gem!

I have been attending breathe classes for almost a decade now, and recommend breathe to anyone interested in starting or maintaining a regular yoga practice. There are enough varieties of classes and instructors that you are sure to find what works for you. Although my practice has been virtual for the last few years, I'm still taking breathe classes each week and utilizing the online classes as well. While most of the classes are vinyasa, the restorative, foundation and meditation offerings have increased in the past couple years. Plus there's a new non-heated space for non-vinyasa classes that I have not yet tried but am definitely excited about!

I have been coming to the Pittsford Breathe location for years. The people here, the instructors, the classes upstairs, the healthy food/juices have all helped to make yoga and mindfullness such an important part of my life. The instructors teach yoga as a full mind/body practice. The food/juice bar people are always ready to make something healthy and delicious for you. Even the shopping boutique donwstairs always has a little something to inspire or motivate....a piece of art or clothing, a thoughtful book. It has always been a great place to buy gifts for others because the items are so unique and purposeful.

When covid came into our lives three years ago, I became an online yoga member and started doing yoga at home. It took a little getting used to, but the online instructors really made you feel like part of a class. They were able to see your movements and give you guidance as if you were in the studio itself. The online classes have now become an integral part of my routine.
Thank you BREATHE, for being a place of peace amidst the noise of daily life.

I've gone to Breathe for quite a few years now; I started doing the 11 class passes and did those for a few years but once the pandemic started and they offered the online living yoga/ulimited classes, it was a great deal! I do so much more yoga, much more regularly (almost every day, my schedules depending) and there are a lot of wonderful teachers with a variety of classes that are so convienent! I'm still of the view that I'm trying not to go into many public places, and keep masking, so the online classes are perfect for me and I would highly recomend them. So convienent, and I do way more yoga than I ever did otherwise. If you're thinking of starting out or trying a place, this is a great one.

I have been a member of breathe since 2010. Cyndi, Carly, Abby, all yoga and meditation instructors are a source of support, inspiration for me as I learned and now practice yoga and meditation that are part of my daily life. The variety of classes, instructors, opportunities to learn, nourishment at the juice bar, merchandise selections are exemplary. I highly recommend all services offered at breathe. Once a member of the breathe community, always a member. Namaste.

Breathe has been an incredible place to learn about meditation and yoga. From the first time I walked through the door many years ago, they have helped me build a practice that's right for me. The teachers are concientious and dedicated and seem to be able to give each student the individual attention needed to build a meaningful practice. I'm very grateful for the encouragement and support they continue to give me and recommend them highly to people at any stage in their practice.

I live abroad but whenever I come home I always try to get in some classes at Breathe. I absolutely love the classes, the teachers, the atmosphere, and the healthy food and juices. Is it a bit pricey, yes... but so is everything nowadays, and I feel you get the quality that you pay for here. I am CONSTANTLY looking for a studio like Breathe when I travel, but have yet to find a decent substitute. Overall, love it here and can't wait to come visit next month. (Ps: I am a tad chubby and not necessarily very good at any poses, and I have NEVER felt judged or out of place.) :)

I dropped in for a Power Vinyasa class. I arrived just as the class was starting (and didn’t know where to go) but I was helped by the instructor and two very nice class attendees. They made sure I was comfortable and made my first time at Breathe very enjoyable!

I visit Breathe just for their fresh cold pressed juices. One word, β€˜AWESOME’..! Their juices scream quality and freshness in every sip. The place is calm and welcoming, staff is polite. Don’t know about their yoga program but juices are good. They also offer meals for fitness conscious customers. Juices are slightly on the expensive side and one wouldn’t come here everyday for them. Overall rating just on juices and smoothies:

I am writing this review on behalf of what happened to my wife today. She is a loyal customer to this business, and specifically this location. She purchases more than just yoga classes and goes here often. In the past she has had her yoga mat stolen, and later returned (3 weeks later). But today, she had her shoes stolen. When she returned from her class, her flip flops were gone. Did someone unintentionally put on the wrong ones? Maybe. Or maybe they were stolen. Either way, it is what the Breathe staff did NOT do for my wife that has me incensed. When she reported it to them, they reminded her that they just happened to sell new flip flops!! So they offered her some....for RETAIL!?! Are you kidding me? No discount, and certainly not for free, which they should have done instantly. If they do not allow their patrons to keep their shoes/belongings in a safe place or within their sight, then they are partly responsible and need to take ownership of helping their customers. The staff did offer my wife one of their used, dirty shoes to take home. Gee, thanks. So, they let her walk out of the building, across their parking lot dodging gum, cigarette butts, stones, broken glass, etc....in her BARE FEET. Thanks Breathe. You really know how to go the extra mile for one of your loyal customers. I wonder how they treat first timers there?

While in Webster for Christmas, I attended a "power vinyasa" class here. The instruction was fine, and what I would expect from a class described as power vinyasa. Here are my gripes: 1) the whole place smells strongly of essential oils, 2) no natural light in the studio 3) it was not apparent from the schedule that this was a hot yoga class. 4) (my biggest gripe) at the front desk, I was asked if I wanted to buy a smoothie for the end of class. I thought this was oddly commercial for a yoga studio, but perhaps I shouldn't have considering the amount of stuff for sale in the lobby. When I walked into the studio, it was apparent that there were no mats available. It was really irritating to me that I had to rent a mat, but worse, that she didn't notice that I had no mat when I checked in. Apparently selling smoothies was more important! When I returned, a little confused, to the counter, a different staff member gave me a "first time's free" mat. Nice save. I got sweaty, but I wouldn't go back.

Just recently went to Breathe's gorgeous new location in The Junction. Decor theme is sustainable materials -- all the wood comes from the first certified sustainable forest in Canada I'm told. Absolutely gorgeous space -- barn board panelled walls, gorgeous lounge with sustainable wood furniture, beautiful change rooms and hardwood flooring throughout (not just in the studios). While their look is new and fresh, their roster of incredible teachers remains. Just a fab place to practice yoga.
