We’ve had an awesome experience at British Swim School. My son started out nervous around the water, and now he’s not only comfortable, he can swim! The instructors are patient, kind, and really know how to work with kids. You can tell they care they take their time, never rush the kids, and always keep it fun while still teaching real skills. The whole vibe is positive and encouraging, which made a big difference for my son. It’s been great seeing his confidence grow each week. Really happy we found this place. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a solid swim school with good people running it that will actually teach your kids how to swim.

We have been taking swim classes for the last 2 months and I see huge improvements in their swim skills. British Swim has a very specific technic to teach the kids and the instructors are very engaging. Yen is also always available to answer any questions. She is great!

I just had my first class. I’m 50 years old and have never felt like a confident swimmer. My goal expressed to the instructor - to be able to jump from a boat into the ocean when on vacation and comfortably swim in the water. No noodle - lol. A friend asked me how it went. My words- “It was SOOOOOO good ! I wish I had a swimming experience like this when I was younger.” The instructor went step by step with me. Examined my movement and gave feedback in a way that made sense. She introduced the breast stroke by breaking up the movement in different parts. Not my experience when it was introduced some time ago. She’s in the water with me demonstrating. It was such a good experience. Oh and the water isn’t cold ! I would highly recommend the British Swim School.

Best swim school in westchester! I tried others but the instructors were inconsistent in terms of availability. Day one till today Yen has been very responsive and scheduling is great after 21/2 weeks I can swim across the pool confidently. No longer afraid of water. Thanks to all the the wonderful and patient instructors!

The swimming instructors are so great; they break things down and explain everything in a way that is easy to understand. They are also patient and encouraging which is great for an adult beginner such as myself. I would encourage anyone who wants to learn swimming to take lessons with British Swim School.

The instructors are fantastic with kids. My son had a rough morning (even before swim) and was refusing to get in the pool. The instructors knew exactly how to handle it. They were patient, kind and empathetic and my son was in the pool smiling after a few minutes. I like that they start with a focus on making sure the kids master basic skills needed to survive a fall in the pool before moving on to actual strokes. The whole operation is very professional, communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend the school.

This is a great place to learn how to swim and about water safety. The instructors really work with you on an individual level, even in a group class. If you miss a class, make up classes are easily scheduled. Great for kids and adults alike.

The decision to sign up came through recommendation, and I’ve seen such an improvement in my swimming. From my confidence, to my technique, I’ve noticed a change my the level of proficiency - so much so I’ve enrolled my daughter!

I have been having a fantastic experience at the British Swim School! The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. Each session is personalized to match individual skills and progress, which has greatly improved both my swimming ability and confidence. Thanks to their guidance, I no longer fear the water and have gone from a novice to a more confident swimmer.

Both of my daughters, ages 7 and 2, are also enrolled and thriving. My 7-year-old can now backstroke, and it’s amazing to see how her confidence has grown while swimming with other kids.

Perfect size pool to teach in and it's never overcrowded. The teachers make the kids more than comfortable in the water and you don't feel nervous of them being in the water. And they work with you to reschedule a class if needed. I plan to do classes again next summer if they are there again.

I was skeptical at first attending a swim school as an adult but honestly it was well worth it. I went from knowing nothing to being comfortable in the water for the first time ever! All I can say is thanks to all the amazing instructors I had. Yes it might be a bit expensive but I think its well worth it to learn a skill you will keep for life!

The small class size and focus on learning how to swim and, most importantly, be safe in and around the water are truly effective. Yen and her team are so awesome! They are warm, caring, and detailed. Yen is an outstanding director and runs one of the best British Swim programs that we’ve experienced.

Her teachers Edgar and CeCe are excellent and take the time to work with each student. My son has really improved his swim technique with his instructor CeCe. She is focused on form, knowledgeable , and fun!

British Swim School in Pelham is wonderful. We've been going every Saturday morning, and my daughter cannot wait to go. Yen, Edgar, and Gabby are naturally patient and warm people. Would recommend this British swim school to people of all ages. We have been going there for almost a month with our 3 year old and the staff is amazing. British Swim School South Westchester is the best. The staff is amazing - they have been incredibly responsive and friendly throughout my entire journey there. Edgar has been an instructor since day one and he always makes me feel comfortable or guides me to be comfortable while working with my infant Yen (the owner) is at every class and is always a helping hand at the start and end of class. Needless to say this is a great swim school. We highly recommend !
