British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

The instructors make group sessions feel personalized. I appreciate their attentiveness and dedication to acclimatomg the swimmers at their level. My daughter has improved in the short time she has been here as her confidence is higher. They are friendly and my daughter loves going. The facility is what you would expect of a gym pool. No frills..gets the job done. No complaints there.

British Swim School is the absolute best! Bill in the Bay Shore Swim School was amazing with my grandson. He won his trust and did an amazing job keeping him involved in swimming. We highly recommend British Swim school. Their training and making it not only a serious instruction but a fun one as well is awesome. We are very thankful for all Bill was able to do for my Grandson. Thank you British Swim School for being GREAT!
