This is the best time I've ever had working out! Jeff tailors your workout to your needs, even taking into account medical conditions as well as how you are feeling during each individual session. He works within your body's limits, but still provides a satisfying workout. As someone with a chronic medical condition, it's been very difficult finding a workout that helps me build strength without also pushing me too far, but Jeff has found the perfect balance for me! It has made a world of difference for me both physically and mentally, and I couldn't recommend it more.

Jeff is such a talented trainer. My husband has worked with him for years and always speaks so highly of him. After injuring my knee recently, I decided I would pay Jeff a visit and see what he could do to help. Well, I’ve never looked back. With his razor sharp focus on helping me strengthen the knee and the other muscles that support the knee, I already feel so much better. He doesn’t judge, he’s not condescending, he’s a teacher and guide and a really knowledgeable coach. Each session is building on the last and he works with me to create a plan that I can practice at home in between sessions. And he checks in with me during the week with new exercises or to see if I have questions. In a world where exercise and gym visits can be intimidating and unproductive, I cannot recommend this guy enough. Im so grateful to have him there to coach me and to top it off all, he’s fun and funny. - all around great guy.

I 100% agree with Dan McNamara's review, his description of working with Jeff is spot on! I was referred to C2E Movement after I completed a PT program for a sprained ankle and muscle deconditioning. Jeff treated me with the utmost respect and concern for my goals and well-being. He listened carefully to my story and each session incorporated exercises specifically designed to help me improve my mobility. Working with Jeff Johnson at C2E Movement has been absolutely fantastic. I had tried physical therapy before, but it always felt too general, like they weren’t really tuned into my specific needs. I needed something more personal, tailored to my situation and Jeff delivered exactly that.

From the start, Jeff really listened. He took the time to understand my health challenges, my lifestyle, and even little details, like improving my balance, perfecting my form, and making subtle corrections during exercises. These thoughtful adjustments made a huge difference in how effective my workouts felt. Then he created a custom workout plan just for me. Every week, he introduced new exercises that were easy to manage but still super effective. He even gave me different options for busy days versus when I had more time, which made it so much easier to stay consistent. He would help document it all to because I have the memory of a goldfish.

What really sets Jeff apart, though, is how approachable and kind he is. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, but he’s also just a great person to work with. On top of that, his location is super convenient, which makes it even better.

After 50 I found my strength, balance, and flexibility decreasing at an alarming rate. Working with Jeff was like going to PT while achieving significant strength gains. Jeff makes time to tailor a program to address your problems and your goals, making sure you correct one and achieve the other, all with a healthy dose of fun and humor. Jeff is amazing! I am pain free after enduring over 10 years of chronic pain, 2 spinal surgeries, and wasted countless $ on physical therapy. I thought the pain was due to my weight, shoes, job etc. I tried for years on my own. Any exercise (like just walking) left me in more pain for days after. I knew I needed something different. That's when I found Jeff. My first session my hips and lumbar spine were already feeling soooooo much better. Now 8 weeks into it, I am PAIN FREE! I sleep through the night. Which I haven't done in 10 or more years, tossing and turning in pain all night. I am increasing strength and flexibility throughout my body. Which has enabled me to be active again. I cannot say enough about his knowledge and ability. If you are on the fence, not sure this is for you....give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks Jeff. Golf is my passion. My game was going downhill, my knees were hurting and I had to wear a brace to play. Losing distance and not being able to read putts, I was discouraged. My daughter finally convinced me to go see Jeff. After 4 or 5 sessions with Jeff, his exercises have given me back my passion. I'm playing golf without a brace, can get down again to read putts and outdriving guys my age and even some younger ones! C2E Movement and Jeff specialize in movement, mobility, and improving functional range of motion.

We are not professional athletes--we are not training for the Olympics nor do we need to lift the equivalent of a light truck.

We simply want to remain strong and mobile, healthy and active throughout our lives (and not throw out our backs while putting groceries away or chasing after kids or grandkids).

Jeff's clients range in age from 14-84--everybody and all bodies are welcomed.

Staying active is a lifetime pursuit. I especially recommend C2E for those who maybe don't feel as good as they could--things hurt, or are stiff, and maybe balance and stability are more shaky that they should be.

I have seen him work what looks like miracles for folks who felt their lives were limited by those issues, who have regained strength, independence, confidence, and their zest for life.

That may not make for flashy social media videos, but it is far more important.

It's also a benefit that he trains folks in his studio, in home, and via zoom.

I can't really say Jeff is the best personal trainer I've ever worked with, but only because I've never worked with a personal trainer before! I had no idea of what to expect, but so many people recommended him to me (including my husband, daughter, son-in-law), I figured he must be doing something right. And he sure is! On days when I'm feeling "normal," ie no special aches and pains, he helps me with flexibility and strength. (Never thought I'd do pushups.) And when I do have a particular problem (usually my neck), he zeroes in and really helps. But the proof of my enthusiasm about his work, about the results, and about the way I feel after a session is...... I keep going!

Yes, Jeff is a physical trainer and a very good one, but for me, he's more than that. He knows an incredible amount about how the body "works" (or doesn't work so good) in the sense of what's connected to what, how to relieve pain, loosen things up, or just make muscles stronger. But he's also keenly aware of how things like stress and tension and "mood" can play out in your joints and muscles; and he has demonstrated the ability to use PT to get to these issues, with the result that my body and my spirit "work" better, as separate entities, but also as parts of a "whole" that need to work in harmony.

I love personal training sessions with Jeff Johnson because of his attention to detail, his well-thought-out fitness plans, and his ability to modify any plan according to what the day's issues are. Speaking of that, I hurt my foot/ankle very badly at one point (NOT while training with him!) and could barely walk. Three years ago, when I first started at C2E I had just undergone a shoulder surgery for a labrum tare. My whole life I had been an athlete- competitive cheerleading and gymnastics. When my injury occurred I never thought I would be capable of getting back into tumbling/ doing what I loved. The physical therapy I endured post surgery helped with range of motion and mobility but I was weak and it was not enough. When I first walked into C2E I couldn’t even lift 3lbs above my head and had no hopes of getting back to tumbling. With Jeff’s methods and techniques I slowly built muscle back and gradually the workouts became harder and harder. Before I knew it I was doing 10 pull-ups and lifting 20lbs above my head. With the support and encouragement of Jeff and Piper I can now tumble again. Being a member of the gym is like a second family. Everyone’s positive attitudes and desire to improve motivate me throughout every workout. I’m incredibly thankful to have a CrossFit gym that has given me back my lifestyle when I thought I would never have it back after my accident. I joined the CrossFit C2E family two months ago, in September 2019. My experience here thus far has been nothing short of extraordinary! The owners/trainers Jeff and Piper put their heart and soul into this business and it really shows.

Prior to meeting these two amazing people I was overweight at 260 lbs., constantly tired, and unmotivated. In a past life as a competitive rock climber and amateur alpinist I was once 175 lbs. Life got in the way and I let myself go.

I’ve been going to CrossFit C2e for 8 years.
I had a bad back when I started so Jeff works with making my back stronger without injury.
In fact I’ve never seen anyone get injured in Jeff’s gym. With Jeff’s training I was able to carry a backpack for 2190.9 miles last year.

I would give Cross Fit C2E 10 stars, if it was an option. This is a great place for folks of all ages, ability levels, and goals--from a beginning exerciser to the most accomplished athlete. No matter what you want to accomplish, with small classes, thoughtful programming, and class times that fit any schedule, there is no one who won't benefit by spending time here. A friendly, welcoming, supportive atmosphere is the cherry on top. You'll sweat, but you will want to come back for more.
