Changes for Life is truly life changing. Their full-body exercise programs fit the needs of each individual to improve body strength, range of joint motion, and balance. The instructors are professional and knowledgeable. I have more energy and my balance has improved significantly. I think of their exercise programs as an investment for an improved quality of life.

Theresa guided me thru gym orientation today. I have been with many trainers over my life (I'm 76 yo) and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Knowledgeable, patient and goal oriented coupled with her emphasis on proper technique and injury avoidance creates the type of all around package to assure positive timely results.

Have been working with Theresa for the past few months and she and her team are amazing. I enjoy taking classes through Changes for Life at Country Point Meadows. The Build classes taught by Katie are a great way to stay flexible and get strong. Katie is knowledgeable and encouraging. She focuses on technique and varies the workout. Her aqua fit class is another fun way to exercise.
The Zumba class taught by Vicky is just so much fun. Her music gets you going! She is encouraging and positive. Vicky gets you moving through fun dance steps and it is a workout!

You would think its a class that is obvious , not at all it was very interesting and informative . Theresa has a great way of teaching she can explain what we are learning in a way that is easy to understand but she also makes you think and look at training in a whole new way

I took the DB course with Theresa Cordova and really enjoyed it. I love the hands-on class participation. I really liked the fact that the class was designed around the students in the class and everyone had the opportunity to demonstrate exercises they wanted to discuss further. I think this class would pair well with the optimize strength class. I think taking the DB class directly after would solidly concepts like moment arm. Thank you, Theresa!

Theresa was recommended to me and have been so happy. My only regret was not meeting her earlier. I had a serious injury and could not exercise. Her vast knowledge of exercise physiology and training techniques have resulted in my gaining back tmobility, strength and confidence. I am now also working with Katie once a week as well which is also going great. My husband wanted to get back into a workout regimen and Theresa designed a program for him- he is so happy with the results. We live in a community and we have highly recommended them to friends and neighbors.

After breaking my back and tearing rotator cuffs in both shoulders,I thought my days of exercise were over. But Theresa Cordova and Katie at Changes For Life Personal Training have me back to working out. They challenge me and have me trying different things I never thought I could do. After only 2 months I am already much stronger than I thought I could be. This program, together with physical therapy, have me strong and pain free. 💪

I have worked primarily with Ellen-with some outrageously awesome substitute work with Theresa! for about 3 months now and I am amazed at the progress I have made. Most of all, I love the experience of doing something physically that I couldn’t do before. As a senior citizen, it is important to keep my body going so that I can enjoy my life rather than giving in and becoming a couch potato! Working out makes me happy- I find that I leave in a better mood than I was in before I arrived! So this has been a wonderful experience on many levels. The workouts are varied and I find myself pushed and challenged to do better, but never put in a position that would cause injury. During my workouts, I would overhear Theresa talking to some of her clients. She always spoke in a calm reassuring voice creating a comfort zone for them. When I decided to take lessons, I knew she was the right fit for me. Her knowledge base and attention to detail helped me get to another level in my training. She knew when/how to push me and understood my limits. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone. All I can say is OMG! Theresa And Ellen fabulous. I brought my mother to see Theresa to for one-to-one training. I picked Theresa out of all the personal trainers I know, and I know a lot after after being a doctor for 33+ years, watching her for years in the gym. She’s very meticulous about the form that her clients use when they are training. She is also very good at balance and motor function in the body as a whole. This is what my mom needs the most help with, Core training and balance and someone who can communicate in a compassionate way. She’s 78 years old going on 98 if you know what I mean. Very, very sedentary, did I say sedentary? My mom is a perpetual half empty glass type of person. And when she told me she liked them I almost fell on the floor. they have a lot more patience with her then I would. So, would I recommend Theresa and Ellen for any type of personal training and goals you may have, every single time.

I began working with Theresa about 8 years ago. I was amazed by her knowledge of anatomy and physiology especially as she created a program for me that centered around my limited spinal movement. I originally met Theresa Cordova while training in the gym. As I was training, I watched her train one of her clients. I am currently a retired Health and Exercise Physiology educator with a Sports Medicine background. I watched her pay close attention to the mechanics of movement while explaining how to activate the muscle(s) they were working. It was very apparent that she was a professional with a background in Exercise Physiology, muscle activation, biomechanics and resistance training. Therefore, I hired her to train me. I could have done it on my own but I wanted her to evaluate my mechanics of movement and needed help with some physical limitations I was experiencing. I also needed motivation. The time always went so fast while training because I was able to talk about Exercise Physiology with her. Theresa’s passion for physical fitness goes beyond “just a job”!
She came to my Exercise Physiology class and captivated my student’s attention. She showed them it’s not about how much weight you can lift. It’s about activating the muscles you are training and having proper mechanics. I can go on and on about Theresa. The bottom line is, if you want someone who is professional, educated, and passionate about exercise, then look no further. I recommend her without reservation. You will excel with her.
