Core culture is by far my favorite Pilates studio. As a personal trainer myself, I am very picky about choosing where I take classes. The studio itself is clean, aesthetic, and inviting. I love that the classes are small, keeping it more intimate, and easy for instructors to actually see what you’re doing/make corrections/help as needed. They are also the perfect level of difficulty, and have options for more challenging/faster paced classes if that’s what you are looking for. Christie is my absolute fave. I recommend my own clients to Core Culture, and I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great Pilates class/experience, whether they are a beginner or experienced.

My absolute favorite and the very best Pilates class in all of NYC! It doesn’t get better than this - the studio is the most beautiful, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, spotlessly pristine place. Classes are super thorough and I always leave feeling like I got the best work out. Instructors are the most friendly people, extremely knowledgeable and professional, and are always approachable, warm, personable, and made feel so comfortably welcome, like part of the core culture family even on my first class. There’s no other Pilates studio in NYC that I trust more, and anytime I take a class somewhere else, I wish I had taken it here instead. I can’t wait to come back here again and again!

One of the best reformer studios I’ve ever been to! Every class feels so intimate and curated to the people in the room. You get tailored programming, feedback and adjustments all class long.

Aside from being super warm/kind, the instructors do such an amazing job explaining the why and where behind every movement. You get to learn more about your body and take care of yourself all at once — which is the best!! I love Christie’s classes but am on a mission to try out everyone in 2026

Beyond the beautiful, clean studio, I’ve been genuinely impressed with every class and instructor I’ve had at Core. Being in the middle of Soho, I was skeptical at first… but now I’m a regular — and honestly, obsessed.

Everyone is always talking about wellness and community, but few actually achieve that goal. Core Culture Pilates walks the walk by ensuring everyone who steps foot into the aesthetic studio feels at home and welcome. Beyond that, the classes strike the ideal balance between strength and mindful movement. A definite must try for all types of Pilates girlies!

I primarily live in Florida and every single time im in New York I make sure that I make attending a Core Culture class a priority. I have not been to a studio that feels more welcoming and relaxed than this one. Im sore in ways I never knew I could afterward but somehow so at peace during this class. Everyone seems like a family inside and I’m so happy a place like this exists.

Absolutely love the community vibe this studio has. The instructor was welcoming and kind and you could tell most of the clients were regulars. She even asked at the start of class if we had any requests, that was a first for me! The consideration really emphasized their commitment to client satisfaction.

I love, love, love Core Culture!! It's such a cozy environment and every time I go to class I feel like I am getting a great workout while hanging out with friends! The instructors are top tier, and very welcoming to everyone. I hope they offer pre-postnatal classes soon as I would love to come back, otherwise can't wait to return in mid 2026! Coming here is the best and it's one of my favorite small businesses to support!

Obsessed with this studio! Gorgeous space - clean, amazing lighting, and overall energy is everything I could dream for in a boutique studio. The instructors are all so welcoming, knowledgable, and grounded. Such a safe and warm space for all - Have had nothing but the most positive experiences here. Especially in Christie's class!! She is the greatest.

An absolute gem of a studio. The space is beautifully curated and feels premium but also lowkey in the best way. My instructor was so kind and took the time to check every student's form, and offer modifications as well as extra challenges. This class is great for anyone on the pilates spectrum - from novice to expert. I go out of my way to attend a class here when I'm in the city!

Bought an intro pack here and went once before I saw their instagram account posting inappropriate political stories. I go to Pilates to workout in peace, not for a political statement. A Pilates studio should be a safe place for everyone to attend. I, as a Jewish woman, would not feel comfortable returning and would not be comfortable with any of my Jewish friends going when they post stories publicly backing an anti semite.

Quinton is fantastic. I come from uptown just for his class. Crystal clear instruction and he actually offers form correction. Classes are small, studio is intimate (only 7 or 8 reformers), and studio uses the balanced body allegro reformers. Overall one of the better reformer studio experiences I’ve had in the city.

I am in town on a work trip and decided to try Core Culture to get some movement in while traveling. The studio is gorgeous, clean and has such a warm and intimate vibe, especially with the classes maxing out at 7 people. I took the Chill + Challenging Flow with Christie and she started by taking requests on areas people wanted to work, which was amazing, but then was also excellent about offering hands-on corrections with consent, helping people adjust their equipment and offering modifications throughout for anyone who needed them. This was my first reformer Pilates class as someone who usually does barre, and I was able to follow along without an issue under her instruction, and was able to feel challenged without feeling out of place or lost. This was an amazing workout and I left feeling incredible — I wish I lived locally so I could come more often but will definitely stop in again next time I’m in town!

I held off on writing a review because part of me wanted to keep this spot to myself, but it truly deserves the praise. I can honestly say this studio has been life-changing, and I owe so much of that to Christie. I’ve always struggled to stick with a workout routine, but discovering this small, women-run reformer Pilates studio felt like fate. With just seven reformers and a warm, welcoming community, it’s the kind of place where you always walk out feeling “lighter, brighter, longer, and looser”.

The chill + challenging class is just the right kind of effort: never so much that you’re sore for days or can’t walk the next morning, but enough to feel strong and in tune with your body. A total game changer.

Core Culture is such a special place, and I feel so lucky to have found it! I’ve been practicing here regularly for basically since they opened so two years and it continues to be a grounding, energizing, and empowering part of my routine. Christie and Nina are not only incredible instructors—they’re also deeply thoughtful owners who have cultivated a truly welcoming and connected community.

Every instructor they bring on shares their same level of expertise, warmth, and intention. The class size always feels semi-private and I love the hands on adjustments everyone provides. The class tempo is consistently spot-on: you leave feeling strong, challenged, and centered—never overwhelmed or burnt out. I can’t recommend it enough 💚💚💚

Core Culture is the best studio I’ve ever taken classes at. It’s a lovely little space in West SoHo where the vibe is just impeccable.

I’ve been going to Core Culture for ~1.5 years and it’s made me so much stronger. The teachers are all well educated and I’m always impressed how good they are at spotting small things in my form and making tweaks to improve my Pilates practice.

Huge shout out to Christie, one of the owners, who makes the studio so welcoming. I’m also a huge fan of Kyra’s who has a deep understanding of movement and the body and has drastically helped me improve my form.

Love, LOVE Core Culture.

Big big fan of Core Culture 💚 I love Christie’s classes but any time I’ve popped into class with other instructors they’re equally lovely. In my experience everyone is really focused on form, so whether you’re new to pilates or looking to refine your practice this is a great place to add into your rotation. The studio is very intimate too (8 beds?) so it’s definitely one of the more calming/relaxing studio options in Manhattan. Highly recommend!

Core Culture is my "home" studio. It's cozy, clean and intimate with 7 reformers. The classes are very form and method forward which has made them twice as valuable in developing skills and results than other classes I have attended.
As a visibly queer person I don't feel the most comfortable in every studio but that certainly is not my experience at Core. Additionally, it's the ONLY studio instructors (Quinton, Christie) have asked my pronouns. The culture Core fosters allows for as much community as you're open to!

I have been taking classes here since January, starting with private instruction, and then instantly got hooked! I now take up to 5 classes / week. I can not imagine my life without Core Culture, Christie, Quinton, Nina - these people are next level!! I was nervous to start group classes, but immediately felt comfortable and welcomed - there is no attitude in the room. It's a safe space, with the most chill vibes. Cardio Jump + Flow, is the only cardio I will do. It's fun, fast moving, but always ends with feet in straps and a nice cooldown. The studio is aesthetically pleasing, super comfortable, and the music is goooooood. I find myself able to focus, be in the moment, smiling, sometimes closing my eyes and just allowing myself, as Christie would say, 'leaving whatever you need to leave behind in the room with me' - What an incredible feeling.
