It is with profound gratitude that I share my experience with Rodrick at Core Rhythm Fitness. I began my training two years ago to help me prepare for Bi-lateral knee surgery. I entered this journey in pain and emotionally defeated by my physical limitations. I could no longer engage in the level of activity that I had been accustomed to for most of my life. After one session, I knew I had found in Rodrick the individual who could guide me through the process. Often times I would enter a session in severe pain and leave pain-free and revived. I now have two new knees, and have come through the surgeries stronger than ever. After the sixth week of my second surgery, I walked 8 miles in one day. The surgeon was astonished at my level of strength, flexibility, and endurance. This swift recovery would not have been possible without Rodrick. I will be forever grateful to Rodrick and his team at CRF for enabling me to reclaim my life.

The impact of consistent engagement with the CRF team has been amazing. The word is transformative. I just completed the 4-week “Reset” nutrition plan at Core Rhythm Fitness and the results were nothing short of a miracle. No weighing myself during the program, no supplements to buy, no focus on willpower to avoid what I don’t need, just guidance on the list of things to eat and a process to follow with a very intentional focus on feeding my body what it needed.
I also was not hungry for a single moment during the program and honestly felt like I was eating MORE than I would normally eat. They also helped me develop simple plans for what to during the weeks where I would be out of town for work.
At the end of the 4 weeks I weighed myself was and was DOWN 10 lbs! Unbelievable! It was so easy that I’m sticking with the exact same process for another 4-8 weeks. I have no idea if the weight change will continue BUT I actually feel great about the things I am eating now.
Thank you to the entire Core Rhythm Fitness team but especially Ashley, who patiently worked with me during the program period and was always there to answer my questions, and Rodrick, who is one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever met. I’ve never felt more cared for, supported, and empowered in my health journey than with this team.

Let me start by stating firmly - I do't enjoy exercise. Now, this being said, I had a fulfilling experience this morning when I took The Brave workout class, at CRF. Right away, I was made to feel welcome, and, when we spent a little time talking and sharing with one another, I knew this wasn't your regular workout session! Talking and sharing and creating dedications and setting emotional possibilities for ourselves? This was a language I understood. I was welcomed, and guided through some very challenging exercises - and, tada! was able to complete two full circuits! I recommend CRF for their philosophy of nurturing the whole person, not just working out muscles.

A workout for the Mind. Body. Spirit. Heart and Soul. CRF’s Group Fitness Classes are my favorite. Aside from working out together… We Manifest Together and We Meditate together. From a Monthly/Daily intention to a Pilates warmup to a high energy sweat your butt off workout and end with a meditation. I mean…. Whole can ask for anything more!? But there’s more… Rodrick! Owner and one of the trainers/Instructors… he is Priceless! The best motivator and has enough energy to fuel everyone in class. It’s good to be back at CRF. I fell away during the pandemic and am relieved to be getting back on track with Rodrick at his beautiful new location at Complete Body Fitness on 14th street. His classes are always a “complete body” — and spirit—experience. I feel rejuvenated in body, mind and soul after one of his classes. The workouts are modifiable from my level, which is extremely out of shape at the moment, to as intense as possible as I get stronger, which I inevitably do when I keep at it. He and his team are experienced, knowledgeable and skillful at their jobs. So grateful they are there.

Simply the best...It has everything! Each class has a mantra, pilates core exercises, circuit training, stretching and meditation. Every workout is unique, since there are hundreds of exercises to chose from. The instructors are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Everyone is welcome. Iman is the greatest!! Even virtually, I have gained so much from my personal training sessions with her. I am currently experiencing a flare-up of an old injury, and she is so knowledgeable about how to approach my training to give me the best possible workout as well as the tools and stretches to help continue to build strength and relieve my pain! The individual attention is so necessary and valuable under these circumstances, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her.

Also, group fitness classes are way out of my comfort zone, but I have never felt so comfortable and welcome as I did when I went to Rodrick’s class (pre-pandemic). He has a beautiful mind, body, and spirit, and I am so grateful to know him.

Michele was an amazing nutrition coach—sooo available and ready to answer my questions and offer support at any time.

Michelle and Danielle have kept me in track of my food and nutrition goals, even going as far as to try plant-based for almost a month when I never thought it was a possibility. Rodrick Covington is the best. This company is the best. No doubt, you have looked up reviews for this place because you've seen it around instagram, or you're using classpass, or you might have heard about it from a friend. As much as I want this place to be kept a secret, I feel it would be a huge disservice to not show love to such a great team of people and highly recommend Core Rhythm Fitness to you.

The entire team at CRF are amazing and inspiring without any hint of campiness or hokie fakery: These people are the real deal and it shows in their appearance and aura.

Every class starts with an inspirational lecture of some sort (while stretching so as to maximize every minute of the hour you're there). That pep talk is followed by a Pilates warm up which feels like an entire workout all by itself.

Once the warm up is completed, you are shown how to do the first of a series of exercises. Options are given, and attention/ care is paid to individuals who may need additional instruction. I started in May, and at first I had anxiety about working out in a group setting, but after watching the people around me and asking the very open instructors how to do a thing right, I have become very comfortable.

The workout itself is high intensity. It's tough, but you are encouraged to slow down, catch your breath or even stop altogether for however long you need. I know I do, and there's no shame in it. Everyone is too busy also dying next to you.

I can't stress enough how positive of a vibe this group has. No doubt, you have done your research on the pricing, and while it may seem steep, I can assure you, I had a membership at Equinox, which is the same price as a monthly membership at CRF, for a few months (3). In my 3 months at Equinox, I saw few results. In my 3 months at CRF I have seen exponential results in my body's shape and size, and it all goes back to the vibe/ atmosphere. I've never been one to want to workout, but now I can't get enough.

So if your goal is to get a tight core and lose weight, then this is the place for you. Check out the website, look them up on instagram, they're very active there. I would post pics, but that would be highly inappropriate for a google review.
