Beautiful Gym probably one of the cleanest Crunch I have been too. Not too crowded.

Its smaller than my usual location and others I've tried but very clean and I must say the staff is very nice. Front desk at most usually not very nice but the girl here was very welcoming.

Great gym, can get crowded around rush hours but has everything you need. Only thing is the instructor Jen who is very rude during her classes and is overall horrible for the energy in the room (coming from multiple people). Maybe try to bring in nicer, more positive instructors for a yoga environment.

Tired of their used car salesman sales tactics. Especially from the fitness manager Oumar. If his clients heard how he talks about members they’d be so appalled. As a muslim man myself it’s a shame to see another muslim stoop to such low levels of character.

Bought a day pass for workout.

When compared with the other Crunch Fitness properties I visited, the cross fit area of this property is relatively small. Nevertheless, I love their collection of heavy kettlebells - there are quite a number of kettlebells that weigh 32kg and above, which is awesome!!!!!

Honestly and straight review, the gym is well kept clean, super friendly staffs. Not too crowded not too empty. The only problem is that machines are too close together and it's kinda claustrophobic other than that The vibes are amazing to work out.

Majestic, Koyan, and Omar are very friendly, and welcoming. Overall Gym spacing is small however the cleanliness, and motivating environment outweighs any cons. 10/10 recommend.

How is this considered a Signature facility without saunas, steam rooms or any other amenities? This is a basic gym with minimal equipment. There are better locations.

Free trial is not for visitors and if you don’t have a local ID, which is a shame, because could have potentially used the gym during an extended stay. Most places wouldn’t require you to be local to try a gym but this is New York!

I’ve tried them all—Lifetime, Equinox, Barry’s, OrangeTheory, Lagree Pilates, Solidcore. Now in my late 30s, convenience matters most. I joined Crunch because it’s right next to my office, making it easy to squeeze in an hour-long workout during my workday.

Midday, the gym is pretty empty. I’ve never had to wait for a machine, weights, or space by the mirror (where I usually stick to dumbbells). It’s not as polished as luxury gyms, but it’s not trying to be. Crunch is straightforward and practical.

The crowd is mostly the Midtown office type, and while the staff could be friendlier, that’s not why I’m here. The price is reasonable, and for what it offers, it’s a solid option.

Pro tip: Highly recommend the Thursday lunchtime Yoga Body Sculpt class with Carl!

Summary: If you’re looking for a convenient, no-frills Midtown gym, Crunch gets the job done. If you’re after a $300 / month lifestyle gym experience, this isn’t it

Koyan was such an amazing person to deal with at the front desk. She was very resourceful and provided all details to make an educated decision on the membership I need for this establishment. Ingrid was also quick to reach out and provided the rest of the pricing and other information to bring me on-board. Looking forward to joining very soon, the gym looks amazing!

This place is a dirty mess. Been a member for 2 weeks and fully regret it. The mirrors are never cleaned with the same sweat spots and smudges every day. Coming at 5am when they open there are no wipes in all the containers, the floors are filthy, and sweat stains all over the cardio and weight machines. I was told the gym is cleaned daily but they were obviously don’t actually clean everything. It’s disgusting when you walk around and look.
The gym is so hot as they nrver have ac going .
Only 2 elliptical machines and every morning one women is on one for over an hour so only one machine and it’s always used too. So don’t ever expect to get an elliptical from 5-7am.

This place is just to small and not big enough to hold hotel quests and locals, a quarter of a normal crunch gym.
There is never staff walking around to pick up constant wipes scattered around or weights scattered.
This place deserves zero stars.

The gym would be decent for NYC if not for the roach problem. It's been an issue for a while now. If you go, avoid the mirror-mat area and also by the personal training mats, which is where I always see them.

Relatively small gym for the price, but this is what you get in NYC. Otherwise, this place has clean bathrooms and well-maintained equipment, not too difficult to get machines mid-day. Juan and Majestic were very helpful fixing an issue I brought up regarding billing, and staff in general are pleasant at this location. People will always find things to complain about but this is a well-maintained and well-staffed gym in a convenient location.

I am really pleased with the gym and with the staff there in general. I go 2 to 3 times a week for my personal training sessions with my trainer Melly and I am very happy with her service and the results I obtained. Shout out to her!!! One of my goal was to loose mid section fat and she made me do it. She made a personalized program for weight loss and core strengthening. She is consistent and keeps me on check without being pushy or annoying. I love it and recommend her for anyone that wants to wear a crop top next summer ;-)

I was offered a day pass during my visit at the Lexington Signature hotel while their gym was under renovation.

Happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my temporary membership with crunch fitness. It was conveniently located, clean, friendly, and despite being a smaller space than what I am used to - it was very spread out.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming as well.

Visited this gym as a guest of The Lexington. Hotel guests get free access and this is a great option for people visiting that want to workout. It’s NYC so the space is slightly cramped but there is a ton of great equipment for any kind of workout. There’s a large disco ball in the middle of the room that creates a cool vibe in the gym, almost like a nightclub. There are all woodway treadmills as well as traditional treadmills. Lots of machines, weights, artificial turf, and sports training equipment like boxes, a sled, slam balls and other fun toys. I used the rower and the assault bike. Well worth a visit if you’re in Gotham.

Not my home gym but the one I visit most often because it's closest to my office. It's not too huge which is what I like then I don't have to navigate the area looking for machines. It doesn't get too busy but the typical rush hour traffic after work can be challenging. The staff here is really nice and the place is always clean. The machines are always kept up

Great gym but my membership was horribly mismanaged. Assigned the wrong home gym and did not cancel the membership when requested resulting in hundreds of extra fees. Only after months of dozens of emails did they finally refund SOME of the charges. I had a great time while working out here but I would avoid this gym and company like the plague in the future.
Update: The account reaching out below never responded to me. I eventually got a chargeback from my credit card and recovered the remaining funds Crunch attempted to steal from me.

New staff is outrageously unprofessional. The gym already closes very early (10 on weekdays and 6! on weekends). Recently 5-10 minutes before close, the staff goes around yelling at everyone that the gym is closing, flickering the lights, and making insulting comments (e.g. "why are you still here??") adding insult to injury. I get off work late so I try to get my workouts in when I can. If this continues I will be switching gyms.

It's a fairly new facility so the equipment is all new. As typical in Manhattan basement gyms it's limited in size but it has everything most people would need. The nice part is they have an area for people to do more functional training like tire flips, kettlebell exercises, ect. The only thing I would improve in is the lockers, they're too small.

This gym is exactly what I was looking for in nyc. It’s never too crowded like so many of the other gyms I tried out, their equipment is all brand new and the space itself is so motivating— the classes are fantastic I’ve taken a trx diesel class and a vinyasa yoga class, my instructors for both were fabulous and the classes were so fun and I got such a good workout!! Tara is also the most wonderful person I’ve ever met in a gym— so if you’re signing up ask to speak to her!! Overall I could not be happier with the gym, I literally have been raving to all my friends about it back home since I signed up. I’m never one to give reviews but they DESERVE these 5 stars more than any gym I’ve ever worked out at. Not to mention the membership price is very reasonable compared to other gyms and the facility is stunning. Thank you so much crunch. Such a motivating and amazing environment.

Have lived in Manhattan for several years. I had long memberships with both Equinox and NYSC before this Crunch opened but neither can compare. Probably this is the best environment I have found to workout in the city to date.

The staff is friendly, the gym is clean and organized, and the value you get for the monthly dues is genuine.

At equinox I ran into several issues of staff just not showing up to open the gym (maybe a dozen or so occurrences in 6 months) and just unkept/broken equipment, while paying close to $300 a month.

Nysc the staff is very rude, the gyms are super dirty and the layout of the gyms make no sense, and it’s more expensive than Crunch.

Wow- this is hands down the best Crunch location I have ever been to. The equipment is new, the staff is courteous and professional, and the vibes are amazing. I especially love the giant disco ball in the middle of the gym. Most of all, the lighting here is great. It is not too bright and creates a great atmosphere to work out it. I wish all the Crunch locations looked like this one. Lastly- they do a great job of cleaning and making sure everyone is safe considering COVID, and all the people that go here respect the rules and workout with their masks on.
