Classes with Gina are great. She explains all sequences in a clear way. I went to classes with two other instructors as well, but they don’t explain the sequences or do but the music is too loud to hear. The 3 stars is because since December they don’t register attendance on ClassPass so every time I went it would be marked as an absence on ClassPass, so each time I had to contact ClassPass to fix it. Otherwise I would be charged a penalty. I mentioned this multiple times to the establishment on Instagram and in person but they just ignored me and didn’t fix it. Eventually it became annoying to have to contact ClassPass every time so I just stopped going. If you don’t want to have people from ClassPass then just remove your services from the app, but for some of us is the only affordable way to attend. I’ve never had this issue with other gyms on ClassPass.

Ten months ago, I found myself in one of the most difficult chapters of my life. I had just resigned from my job, and my mental health was in a fragile state. Desperate for a positive outlet, I discovered Drip Sweat and everything started to change.

From the very first moment, the owner, Janice, welcomed me with warmth, kindness, and a smile that made me feel seen, even though she didn’t yet know my story. Her personal approach to every client created a sense of belonging I hadn’t felt in a long time.

At Drip Sweat, I began kickboxing and taking the intense, one-hour full-body workout classes. Each session pushed me physically, but more importantly, began to heal me mentally. With the incredible guidance and support of Coaches Max and Raul, I not only regained strength and confidence... I transformed. I went from a size 6 to a size 4 in jeans, something I never imagined possible.

More than just fitness, Drip Sweat gave me a renewed sense of purpose and well-being. I am endlessly grateful to Janice, Max, Raul, and the entire Drip Sweat community. Thank you for helping me rediscover myself.

I actually look forward to planning my classes each week, and I’m always trying to bring a friend with me to share the experience.

Revised review - Drip Sweat has not been processing my Class Pass credits. They seem to not want to accept them but just blame Class Pass but Class Pass is saying they're marking me absent. This has become a mmbig problem.

I just have to recommend this great local workout studio, Drip Sweat. It's located right by the A train on the corner of 168th Street and Amsterdam Ave. This place has enabled me to really get my health back after COVID and it's fun too. This place has filled a huge void in the neighborhood because there are no gyms between 158th St. and 177th St. Also, I am not soley into weight training when working out. I need some sort of class or activity to get my exercise in like their kickboxing class as well. I wish nothing but great success to the owner, you can see how hard she and her staff work and they are very nice and professional. I wish them nothing but success.

Uptown's very own woman and Latina-owned group training and wellness studio, Drip Sweat offers classes from multiple kinds of strength training (HIIT), kickboxing and yoga. The instructors are all well trained, friendly and challenge you to push yourself. All the classes I've taken have been really fun and I always leave feeling stronger and empowered.

I also love the studio space. The lockers are near the training room and the room is dark with only blue lights around so everyone won't see the weird faces you make while working out, HA!

And can't forget about the juice bar! All their juices are made to order using fresh ingredients to aid in whatever you need (energize, detox, or recovery). Definitely recommend taking a class, or two, or three and don't forget to bring a friend! 💪🏾🏋🏽🧘🏾🥊

LOVE this gym. I found it via classpass at the beginning of my fitness journey and I haven't been able to stop going. I used to take all different classes but at this point, after a few months of trying different things, I am all in with Drip Sweat. Dripsweat is such an incredible studio. For starters, everyone is so welcoming and inviting. There is a true sense of community which all starts with the amazing founder, Janice, the woman with the vision for a special place many people consider a home. I love the fact that the studio is so intimate.

I have been taking kickboxing with Raulo for a couple of months now and he absolutely kicks your butt with such a great workout. He is friendly, inspiring, funny, and overall passionate about his instruction. He is extremely attentive especially with beginners and ready to demonstrate and offer guidance if you’re struggling with anything. His mantra is taking it to the next level and he helps you get there. I am always dripping in sweat during this class without fail and I always feel amazing after the class. His playlist gets you pumped and ready!

Highly recommend Rob's candlelit yoga class as well. It was my first time EVER doing yoga but thanks to Rob's approach to yoga I have been able to feel accomplished every time. He does the class with you which helps for newbies like me who don't know poses by names. I appreciate that he encourages people to go at their own pace as well as give yourself grace. It is evident that he cares about his practice and wants you to become the best version of yourself as this is your journey. I step out of Dripsweat always feeling like I gave it my all because the instructors push you to be better.

It’s a wonderful community of people (both the staff and other clients), the classes are challenging but energizing and fun plus the juices / smoothies are sooooo good and always made with fresh ingredients. They also have special events periodically such as a ceremonial sound healing event which was therapeutic and transformative!

Living uptown our options are limited in terms of fitness studios especially if you’re like me and don’t enjoy going to the gym. I’m so glad I gave Drip Sweat a try!! Drip Sweat offers a variety of classes throughout the day and opens early. The 50 min group training classes goes super fast and you really enjoy doing it!The classes, which vary in every session, all incorporate strength and cardio intervals with everything from TRX, jump ropes, step,and ab rollers. Afterward, stick around and grab a protein shake or fresh juice. I highly recommend their lemon ginger shot before class and try their amazing acai bowls!!! Waking up for a 7am Total Body workout is easy when you know you’re coming to Drip Sweat. The classes are challenging, in the best way, but also empowering! Love the communal feeling of we are in this together!

The LED light room allows you to transport to another place where you are just totally focused on pushing yourself harder.

The post workout drinks are amazing and the playlist is always on point! The early morning classes with Max are super fun snd worth the early am wake up, and usually are not as packed like the evening ones, so you’ll have ample space to move. Highly recommend this spot to reach your fitness goals!!

Love the place, love the atmosphere, very clean, friendly staff but it is a very small place. Trainers should keep this in mind, if the class gets booked for more than 10 people maybe adjusting your routine to workouts that require less space would be better. If the class is too booked it’s uncomfortable and you can’t really do the exercises well because theres no room to move.

I know the positive outcome working out has on the body, mind and soul. But I could never get the mental strength to go to a gym, I tried many times, join a membership to only say I have a gym membership. When I started following Drip Sweat on Instgram I noticed a diverse community all colors, shapes and ages, I decided to join using my classpass and since then I have become a fan. Granted, I try to attend at least once a week although ideally I want to attend 3 times a week. But the skills and discipline I am receiving from only attending once has contributed to my well being, my mental stability, the strength that I need to tackle the everyday stress, confidence and self love. Although you are in a group setting you get a personable experience. I absolutely love the boxing classes🥊. The space is clean and well kept. . Do your mind, body and vitality a favor - Take 1 on 1 Kickboxing Training classes. Roc has been my instructor during these classes—WORDS cannot describe.. The rush, gaining endurance, detailed instruction to body movement- all well worth the beating I feel afterwards :)
Roc studies your movement, has precise demonstrations while perfecting your craft. Roc has great forbearance, mastery and directive. You get an 60 minute Total session. A wonderful gym with HIIT and kick boxing classes in Washington Heights. Think the likes of Barry’s Bootcamp, Orange Theory, and CrossFit. It’s one-of-a-kind in upper Manhattan and the only legit option up here. My fave coaches are Max, CJ, and Roc. Definitely give it a try. AND there’s a full juice bar too!

Very clean gym with a great vibe! I was greeted by the owner Janice who was super personable and welcoming. The lighting on the workout floor was perfect, and the sound system and music were spot on. Our instructor Gina was great! She offered a challenging total body workout suitable for both beginners and more advanced members. We all had a blast! You seriously NEED to check out this gym!

I am obsessed with this place!! As a bigger girl, it’s always intimidating to start working towards fitness goals after a long time away. SO lucky that I found Drip Sweat. Everyone is so supportive! You feel immediately welcome and included when Janice, the owner, meets you at the front desk. Facilities are super clean, and the one-room studio feels so personal - I immediately felt a sense of community! The facilities are super clean, and the instructors have been amazing; they lead really tough classes, but also have so much patience and offer modifications when I need! The lights are dim so I never feel too self-conscious to go for it. LOVE Roc, Milton, Nicole and Raul, and can’t wait to try out some more classes.

This place definitely lives up to its name! I definitely had fun. Upon entering, you would discover their juice bar (Extremely helpful and beneficial for the local community!), And the lockers. During our class session, because the weather see fit, we jogged around the block three times. Although I was the slowest one, I did do my best and finished 💪🏻 I'm a first timer so I'm unsure if the class I went to was the original fare, but it involved: yoga mats, 2 different weight sets, and a board to step on. There were slow stretches in the beginning, warm up, followed by the workouts. They varied in sets, and were repetitive. The instructor, unfortunately, didn't introduce herself in the beginning of class, but she was super kind. The gym class area itself was dark. I would recommend going here, but I won't be back, sorry! I had to take 3 trains and walk 28 minutes to get here, while going up a long flight of stairs next to a highway 😅

I had an amazing experience Today at Drip Sweat. Their gym not only provides a wide variety of different exercises and work out, theirs also a Healthy Juice bar inside the gym, with many different options to choose from. The owner Janice (An amazing Lady in the making) Helped me with the juice I wanted and told me to try out this Apple, Mango, Pineapple, Ginger, and Honey drink that boost energy. When I tell you I woke up from having a long day of being tired, the drink was so good I had to go back in and buy another one with the option of adding Sea moss, and chia Seeds. The drink was even better from before. This is my new spot to come to for health Juices starting from today on.

I came across DripSweat and decided to try it out and since the first class I took, I can honestly say that I love this fitness center. I feel motivated by all the trainers and the workouts are exactly what I was looking for; something challenging, fun and that I leave feeling accomplished. I lived in the area for two years before I entered this place- I kinda always felt the outside wasn't very inviting. Once inside- super nice staff, great juices and awesome workouts! This review is long overdue! DripSweat is amazing!! The classes are so much fun! They offer a variety of classes, and everyone goes at their own pace.. I started out going just once a week and now I’m there five times a week! The vibe is very positive and uplifting! Janice the Owner is always there to greet you and make the most amazing smoothies/juices! My fave is the Slimfast & Power House! CJ is one of the instructors and he is incredible! Really sets the vibe with his amazing playlists and gets you pumpin! The works outs are designed to target all areas of the body, you will always walk out dripping! Highly recommended!!!!

Great new fitness studio in Washington Heights! As someone who has lived in the area my entire life, I usually find myself seeking places like this on the UWS and downtown Manhattan. It's very exciting to see a place like this uptown and walking distance from home :). It had been over a year since I took an in-person class due to covid but I felt good and safe here. Everyone had their mask on and social distancing was practiced.

The staff are super friendly, the facility is very clean and has a chill vibe. There are lockers, restrooms, and a really cool juice bar. I took the 4:00 p.m. kickboxing class with Roc, literally it kicked me in the behind, hadn't had a workout like that in a while, it was really fun. Great workout, knowledgeable and attentive trainer, and fun people taking the class. Everyone made me feel very welcome on my first visit. I definitely will be back again for another kickboxing class and to definitely try some others! I'd recommend Drip Sweat!

When I first walked in, I was extremely impressed with how stylish, professional and CLEAN both the lobby and studio was. I just took my first Box and strength class with Jenna and it was actually the perfect balance of boxing and high intensity cardio. Her energy was high and her full involvement as well as her demonstrations of form, technique and movements were much appreciated for someone who hasn't boxed in a year.
