Joining this gym was one of my best decisions. The trainers are welcoming, encouraging, and incredibly supportive, always going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. My 14 year old son has been going to Empowered training for the past year and loves it! His confidence and self esteem have improved and he has gained so much strength. When he started he was using 5 lb weights and was only able to do 10 sit-ups. A year later he is using 15 lb weights and is able to do over a hundred sit-ups. Thanks to the persistent, supportive trainers at Empowered Training, my son was able to pass his physical fitness test for his Taekwondo Black Belt! Highly recommend!

Great location. Clean equipment. Easy to schedule clases as they have both early morning and late afternoon offering. The trainers, Jonathan and Terrance are awesome. They help you modify your workout if you need to and provide clear explanations and demonstrations of the different exercises. Workouts vast so you are never board. Highly recommend!

I’m so grateful to Jonathan, Caroline, Chris and the whole team here! I started taking the classes in August ‘23 and in November I found out I was pregnant. Caroline especially made me feel completely comfortable that I could continue working out throughout my pregnancy and I have! She is so knowledgeable on prenatal exercise, made sure to keep an eye on my form and weights and would help me modify as needed. I’m now in my 8th month and instead of 3 days a week, I’ve been coming 4 days a week.. I feel THAT comfortable with these workouts and this team. I also feel like I’m in better shape pregnant than I have been in at least 10 years. I really credit this all to this team! My baby shower recently was the first time in a long time where I felt comfortable wearing something sleeveless without some kind of cover on my arms. Thank you to the whole Empowered Training team!! Im excited to keep going until the baby is here and I look forward to coming back once he arrives :)

I’ve attended HIIT classes for about 3 years and I can honestly say this program changed my life. Not only does Empowered provide rigorous and challenging workouts, but it also includes a phenomenal supportive environment. Jon, the owner is very approachable and caring of the individual needs of everyone in class. The trainers are friendly and helpful. Even the other attendees in class are nice and supportive! I've been training here for 5-6 months now and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I decided to join to keep myself busy throughout the winter when it's more difficult to skateboard.

Jonathan gave me my first week free to see what package I wanted to get. My first session or two I was getting a lot of attention from Jonathan/Chris to make sure I was doing the work outs correctly, which was vital for the position I was in. To be new to an environment and receive so much support from the community is so encouraging to return to the space.

Jonathan, Chris and Caroline are all amazing trainers, they are attentive and won't hesitate to correct your form or add on more weight if they are confident in you. I never thought I'd train in a gym but glad I decided to give it a shot. Not only is my general quality of life better but I enjoy skateboarding even more because I'm not getting injured as easily and progressing my tricks faster.

I have nothing to compare this gym to as this is my first experience but I feel confident in saying that this is probably one of the S tier gyms you can join.

Been using the hybrid program for over a year and Jonathan does a wonderful job making sure you understand how your doing your workouts correctly with good form. He provided a personalized monthly workout plan that was always fun and unique, teaching me new ways and educating me how workout out with weight training. I noticed a tremendous difference in my body and strength. He is very knowledgeable and passionate in fitness and knew how to even accommodate to my workouts due to my past injury from a motorcycle accident. Would definitely recommend Empowered Training to anyone who really wants to see a difference in their strength as well as be educated in proper fitness.

One of the best decisions I've ever made was coming to this gym. I rated this gym five stars because it truly is a amazing place. The trainers are so welcoming and encouraging and so amazing. I’ve been doing the small group personal training classes for close to two years and I have to say it’s one of the key things that has kept both me and my fiancée focused on our health and fitness goals.

The workouts consist of high intensity interval training, which seems to really help with losing weight and getting stronger.

The workouts adapt to whatever your fitness level is. And as soon as something starts to feel easy, Jonathan makes some adjustments to make it a little bit harder 😬😂💪.

I’ve been working out most of my life and never thought I would take a class because I knew how to work out. Some of the minor tweaks to my form have helped me make some amazing gains.

Aside from that the people in class are really great and it’s become a community for us. I highly recommend you try Empowered Training for reaching your health and fitness goals.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Empowered Training program and its founder Jonathan Sorto.

In the winter of 2014, I was looking to start a personal training program because SOMETHING had to give! I've always been active (played sports, went on jogs, did Zumba and kickboxing classes), but I had never strength trained. I came across a program that did personal training exercises in a group class setting and knew that's what I wanted to try.

I met Coach John in that program, and quickly discovered that he is no ordinary trainer. He has an authentic passion for fitness and a genuine interest in improving the health and well-being of his clients. During my time spent with trainer Jonathan Sorto, I lost over 20 pounds and re-discovered a love for working out.

I learned you don't have to kill yourself on the treadmill for two hours to lose weight. Empowered Training is developed to give you a full-body, muscle-targeted workout in under an hour. The best part is: you get to engage with a professional, yet light-hearted trainer and others like you on their fitness journey. The encouragement and community felt in one of John's Empowered
Training classes cannot be compared, and it's all because of the type of trainer he is. He makes it feel like a family.
