Walked up to the counter as I was walking in I was stopped by Iyana, who was the absolute rudest person I’ve ever come across in an equinox, I’ve frequented many in Los Angeles area. We explained we were looking for our friend who invited us to be his guests for the day pass. She said we couldn’t wait for him in the common area we had to wait by the elevator entrance. She told us 3 times to move in a rude abrupt way. We explained our member was on a personal training gym call could we sit and wait until he’s done she said no. The member was so embarrassed by her behaviour towards us he felt the need to treat us to the $75 gym pass each and THEN continued to be rude. Her co worker was a lot more calm and nice I didn’t ask for his name though.

I also forgot to mention when we asked if we could just buy a day pass to not bother our friends FaceTime training she told us no! Only a member could have us come in. I’m not sure if that’s true but that’s not how it works in Los Angeles…

This is also my first bad review I’ve ever written in my life. I don’t do this. That’s how rude Iyana was.

Review for Equinox Hudson Yards

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience at this location. A gym is supposed to be a place where you go to take care of your health and feel relaxed, not to be treated rudely and made more stressed.

I asked the cleaning staff if the bathroom was still open right before closing, and they told me yes — to just hurry up. I was in there for five minutes, and during that time someone banged on the door repeatedly to rush me. When I came out, the front desk staff spoke to me harshly and in a dismissive, almost humiliating way, and did so in front of other people. I even apologized and explained that I had asked for permission, but instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, they continued in a nasty tone.

As I was leaving, I spoke with another member who told me he had faced similar mistreatment here. It seems like some staff act as if this gym is indispensable, as if people would “die” if they don’t attend — forgetting that there are plenty of other gyms in the city. Yes, Hudson Yards is a nice gym, but it’s not that special, and certainly not worth being disrespected. I’d rather train somewhere else for a fraction of the price and be treated like a human being.

It’s a horrible experience with the payment. They make me lock him one year contract and told me if I freeze any months in between due to traveling they will still charge me for those months, but supposed to get the months back after one year ended. However, they never gave me the two months that I froze back to me. I called multiple times. It’s ridiculous that they charge me those months and don’t want to give it back to me. Literally robbing my money. Horrible I would never recommend anyone to Equinox. It’s such a big company, but don’t honor their terms. Don’t have any courtesy towards clients.

Absolutely insane and not in a good way. For being equinox’s flagship location this place is a MESS. Absurdly crowded packed with influencers taking professional photography shoots(see photos) the pool is so packed it’s comical.its generally a 3-4 hour wait for a lounger. Not only as a paying gym member you have to share the pool with hundreds and hundreds of visitors to the club along with those staying in the hotel. The men’s locker room does not have sauna. (The women’s does) the gym is set up with black metal hardware that is worn away and chipped the machines always have a wait time. The gym floor itself is small which is ridiculous being they own the entire building. I will be joining Lifetime when my year is up here. It is not worth the membership fees and crowds. You pay for equinox and get a planet fitness experience.

Also notice the general manager only replies to 5 star reviews. Very unprofessional and turning a blind eye to criticism

I have been a member of this tier gym for about 4 years now and this gym is not it! Lacks "A LOT" of equipment and if you are a real gym goer you always have this feeling that something is missing.

In addition, this place is always packed and during the summer is almost impossible to get into the pool. Moreover,I pay close to 400 a month and looking for another gym because I know I could be getting so much more out of my money somewhere else.

Where can I start 0 luxury, always full, not enough machines for the amount of people, kick you out the sauna at 8:30 exact when they actually close at 9, moved back to my home country and no one wanted to remove my plan. Got an email from the manager saying the steps to take, but unfortunately never answered me back. Terrible service

Unfortunately was embarrassed after coming with my spouse who wanted to try out the gym. We happened to come on a Friday and Trevor advised that no guest were allowed. Tried to pay or ask for exemption but he was strict to say no to the accommodation. This was never communicated to me and after arriving with my guest he turned us away without any flexibility even when this is not clearly stated in the app. This is not a great member or guest experience, when people can help they choose not too and it’s so much red tape about everything for this location.

Great equipment, friendly staff, clean facilities. Only downside is it can get crowded. But people are courteous about working in so it’s not a big deal. Beautiful setting.

Grateful to the staff, from the class instructors to everyone keeping the place running and clean!

Edit: wanted to shout out the instructors, from the folks we see semi regularly to the people stepping in as subs. You’re always so motivating, so positive. You make Equinox great!

The pool area at this gym at a glance is nice looking but between the careless hotel guest and honestly most the the gym members and the trainers who treat the gym like it’s there home, it is one of the least sanitary places I’ve ever seen, I’ve watch members go straight for a workout class into the cold plunge and jacuzzi, with no shower in between, and the “lifeguard” just sits there with phone in hand and not a obligation in the world and never have I seen them once suggest the the expected hygiene guidelines to the hotel guest that jump in, in their briefs or boxers or the ladies in there work out gear. Really disgusting stuff

And forget about finding any space by the pool outside in the summer, it’s a zoo by 9am every single day. Membership canceled

I don't think this "gym" is about working out. It's about socializing, so it's not good for me at all. The number of vapid conversations within earshot is mindblowing......even among the staff, who also seem to be there to scroll and socialize. NOT work.

Source: Google

C

★ 2

This is the TikTok gym, the people who come here will do everything EXCEPT work out. When they do finally decide to use one machine, they'll sit on it for 30 minutes scrolling on their phone.

Also, the men's locker room is very, very sus. There are definitely certain types of... activities... going on in the showers that I don't want to get into. It's just not the place for that, and in general, so overly crowded to the point that you don't have any personal space when getting changed.

If you're paying for this location, I'd recommend dropping it and going to EQX Sports Club on the UWS or even EQX Printing House. Both are much less crowded and have members who are more focused on health and working out properly than social media.

I got a pass from other branch and the advisor tell me that you can go anywhere from the list all equinox in NY. And I went there. The barcode doesn’t let me in. The staff called Bella. She is ridiculous. She is not really helpful at all. She ask me to contact your advisor. Because we are not the same company?? I said hello.. this is equinox right. How it’s possible not the same company. And she doesn’t let me in at last. And she doing nothing aswell. And say the operation hour in ur branch closed now. And she is silent. OMG. This is 5star gym in newyork. How they have like a services like that. Unbelievable. !!! Definitely the worst service I’ve got in my whole life

It's gone downhill by a lot. Everything is way overcrowded feeling more like a Planet Fitness than a premium health club. Overselling memberships means they sadly struggle with basic maintenance issues like cleanliness. The WiFi, for example is patchy, and reaches only parts of the building but sometimes you are able to catch a weak signal from a nearby starbucks if you hold your phone in the right position. The Hot tub is not hot nor are the ice baths cold and they often go down.

I don’t know why there’s so many 1 star reviews for this location, there’s nothing wrong with this location. It’s clean (except the weights, they literally left black residue on my new shorts), the staff is attentive, the patrons are friendly and open.
It’s not packed and is open later than most other locations.

I’m very disappointed with the way I was treated today by the pool staff. I had been on the chair waitlist for two hours, and when my name was finally called, I was told I had five minutes to claim the chair. I showed up just two minutes later, but was told I’d have to go back on the list—resulting in another three-hour wait.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that I was sitting just five feet away from the staff the entire time. I never left the pool area, and it was clear that I was waiting. I would completely understand if I had stepped away or gone to train, but that wasn’t the case at all.

To make matters worse, my elderly mother was with me, kindly asking if they could at least provide one chair for her to sit on—and even that was refused. It was upsetting to see how dismissive the staff were.

As a longtime member, I’ve always respected the club’s rules, but today’s experience felt extremely unfair and lacking in basic courtesy and empathy. I hope this will be addressed.

Equinox feels like a 7-star retreat: gorgeous architecture, immaculate facilities, and every detail screaming sophistication. Then you interact with the staff—and it’s like someone hit the brakes. Eye-rolls, dismissive tone, and a general vibe that says “you’re lucky we’re here.”

It’s almost impressive how much effort went into the building… and how little went into training the people running it.

I was staying at the hotel, so I had access to the gym—and honestly, it’s going to be tough going back to my regular gym at home. This place was exceptional. Even during peak hours, it never felt overcrowded. The facilities were spotless, with a wide range of machines and plenty of free weights. There’s even a work/study area. But the real standout? The pool deck! With stunning views of the river, it’s easily the highlight. If I lived in NYC, I’d spend a lot of time up there. World class gym.

Having been a member for a few years, and I must say that Equinox Hudson Yards has some of the most prompt, professional, and considerate Equinox I’ve ever come across for any high end gym in the world, it’s easy to see that they set the standards for excellence across the world.

The facilities are not only very clean and promptly taken care of after use, but they go above and beyond when there’s an issue or concern that’s been escalated. Great and unbeatable location for both general workout atmosphere, epic sweeping views of the Hudson Yards/Vessel, and the pool is breathtaking every time.

Additionally, I was recently helped by management to retrieve some items — and management systematically and professionally helped execute certain steps which, ultimately, led to a timely and very swift location of said items in record time.

Very impressed with the courteousness and kindness of management; 5* and beyond. Emma and Trevor are amazingly efficient and reliable professionals; I’m thankful that such consummate professionals are at the helm of Equinox Hudson Yards.

Machines are often broken
The sauna is always dirty. Place is filled of wanna be actors and people lying about who they are. This place is more based off image then anything else. Most the people here are fake. The personal trainers are terrible all they care about is their image. They spend more time walking around with microphones clipped on their chest and setting their phones up to record than anything else. Two of the personal trainers here tried to make advances on my wife. Overall would give 0 stars if possible. If you want to be trained by wanna be influencers who barely have over 1k followers this is the place for you.

Once synonymous with luxury fitness, Equinox has steadily declined since I joined in 2018. The Hudson Yards location particularly disappoints given its steep monthly fee.

Persistent overcrowding makes equipment access challenging, and despite being relatively new, the weight facilities scarce. Wellness amenities consistently underdeliver—the men's steam room rarely reaches proper temperature, the sauna seats only eight for ENTIRE gym, and the indoor pool is now closing for 3 weeks

I have no idea how the clientele shifted so noticeably. They must be allowing friends to hangout or giving out trials because the crowd is filled with people you don’t find at any other “luxury” gyms. They are clearly visitors because they are a bit lost - bumping into people in the crowded locker rooms leaving stuff all over the floors and benches. I’ve even had my running shoes stolen from the locker room while I was showering!

Today I walked in to two guys in basketball shorts and wet socks playing music in the steam room …it might as well be a 24hr fitness

The courteous front desk staff is the sole bright spot in what has become a completely unjustifiable expense.

Disappointing experience at Equinox Hudson Yards. They advertised a referral fee that they ultimately refused to honor, and it took three emails to finally receive the reward, with the agent initially claiming it didn’t exist. To make matters worse, expensive personal items were stolen from the locker room, and despite bringing this to management’s attention, no action was taken. Additionally, the cancellation process is unnecessarily complicated, seemingly designed to keep your money. I cannot recommend this location.

I had a surprisingly disappointing experience at the spa. I treated a close friend to a spa day to celebrate something important in her life. We each had facials and a massage. Three of our four treatments were wonderful, and the fourth was quite bad. When we checked out, we were asked how our treatments were, and we shared details about the one bad experience. The associate who helped us agreed to have the spa director contact us to discuss this further, but never did. Unfortunately, they sent the receipt for our services to my friend instead of me, which was awkward because I paid for the day as a gift. The bill was over $1600. I expect stronger customer service from Equinox, and certainly at this price point. I won't make the mistake of going here again.

Nice clean gym, but doesn’t justify the cost. It’s nowhere near as good as the “Sports Clubs” Equinox location on UWS, which is actually substantially cheaper now. They stopped the heating outdoor pool, and keep saying its a thermostat issue, but hasn’t been fixed in months. Men’s locker room is microscopic and many members seem to do all their grooming in there, so you can’t even walk without bumping into people. They won’t put a 2nd leg lift machine in, despite current one being used 98% of the time, even off peak. Lastly, they promised me I could pause my membership, still get billed, but get a time credit after the contract was over for the duration of the pause. I did this for 4 months, and then they said they stopped doing that and wouldn’t honor it

I think I need to start reviewing massages across the globe until I find the “just right” one. So my massage therapist was definitely very nice and delicate. However I am finding it so difficult to find an excellent DEEP tissue massage. I came to this location as a native NYer because it was listed as one of the best in NYC. For $550 it is not. There is only a small box of a sauna. No steam room. No plunge pool. No jacuzzi. The lounge area simply has lemon water. No snacks or anything. I think due to the price I was expecting a lot. It was a relaxing rub with oil is how I’d put it. Not deep tissue. Not a sports massage. Definitely still have a very tight back and neck. However due to the delicate nature of her massage I’d say the glutes and hamstrings were the best part bc she didn’t hurt me at all those areas. Overall I’d say 2-3 stars on massage but shocked that for that price there aren’t any sort of amenities other than a tiny dry sauna.

Suddenly remember my terrible experience here that left me shocked and disgusted for years. The cleaning lady forbade me from using showers she cleaned but only that one shower that had been used and was dirty&gross. 🤮I complied despite the unhygienic conditions🤢. However what followed was even worse. While I was still naked, the cleaning lady yelled🗣️ at me in Spanish, demanding I return to the dirty shower and pick up a used razor someone had left behind.🥴

This level of humiliation and disrespect is beyond belief.Members are not paying membership fees to be degraded and forced to clean a disgusting, dirty shower while naked.😭 In my entire life, even my parents and my managing directors have never treated me like this. It’s outrageous that Equinox allows its members to be insulted and forced into unsanitary situations like this.😭

If you value your dignity, privacy, and hygiene, beware of the treatment you might receive here. No one should have to endure such gross and demeaning behavior at a supposedly premium gym.

I am very disappointed at this location. I’ve had things stolen from the locker room but it was my fault for leaving things out. Last Saturday I left my gym clothes in a locker and left the gym and forgot to pick up my stuff. I went on Tuesday to pick up my stuff and lost and found didn’t have them. They said they open all lockers at the end of the day and take everything out. It’s one thing to leave things out and have them stolen and another to actually have the staff mishandle my stuff and somehow it disappeared. I’ll just have to be more careful next time

Business insider reported Equinox owned Blink Fitness filed for bankruptcy. Will Equinox be next? They are very unprofessional 😤 My assigned trainer was unprepared, unfocused, and arrogant. He spent 70% of my session bragging about his life and demeaning others. I don’t care if he thinks he’s better than another trainer, how he knew more than a chiropractor during his recent seminar, or he despised half of the members. His attitude was unpleasant, narcissistic, arrogant and filled with paranoia/jealousy. I had enough after he demeaned a member he said works in the fashion industry. Elevators were extremely slow and time consuming. 2 elevators designated for the gym and another 2 elevators for the hotel and gym. I was able to walk directly into the gym without signing in during peak hours and weekends. Large lounge area with sofas, chairs and tables. Workout floor is quite small with limited equipment. There are floor to ceiling glass windows that overlook the Hudson River. There is 1 group studio and 1 cycling studio on the main floor. Men’s locker room is small. It has a large steam room. No dry sauna.

An extremely wet and slippery staircase leads to the 5th floor where you will find a yoga studio, pilates studio, indoor swimming pool, cold plunge, hot tub, and a dining area. There is an outdoor swimming pool and cabanas but access was extremely difficult and limited.

Personal trainers are highly questionable at Hudson Yards. HY Tier X trainers and master trainers are awful. Lifetime Penn has better personal trainers! If you’re serious about weight training, hire Brian at Crossfit Flatiron.

Theft remains rampant at this location. And it’s not even those you perceive to be stealing because of how they dress or look. Leave your expensive electronics and jewelries at home. Take your wallet with you and never store it in the locker. Dress down to lower your risks of being a target.

I personally avoid employees and especially personal trainers with a history of drug addiction and ongoing mental health issues. You don’t need that drama in your life!

CRAZY LOUD DEAFENING MUSIC IN GROUP CLASSES! What is going on?? We can peaceful, strengthening music in the group classes, not something that leaves us deaf and raises our cortisol levels. Some instructors don’t know their limit. There should really be a limit set by management. This is not right and very disturbing!!

Also, no band aids in the bathrooms ?? Really you guys? Even the gyms similar to blink fitness has free band aids and their memberships are around $15/ month. There should definitely be band aids in the bathroom amenities area.

AND YOU GOT RID OF KHIELS??? Why!!

At least ask your members first, the ones paying … didn’t even ask us first, just switched it out

Stop unnecessarily raising your prices. You have nothing to offer your members anymore

I've been to New York many times, but had not travelled there ever since the pandemic. I landed on 4th of July at LGA, checked into my hotel at Hudson Yards and walked into the Equinox there for the very first time! I was pleasantly surprised that the location was open 'til 11 p.m. as I was under the notion that it would close at 7 p.m. Anyway, there was a fireworks viewing party at the pool area (I found out when I arrived that you have to preregister). The annual Macy's fireworks show could be seen from the gym floor so I had zero qualms about that. We had the arguably the best seats. I made a ton of new friends, everybody is so nice there! The instructors, the pool area people, the Shop workers, and the gym members :) I had only seen photos of the pool via Instagram. It exceeded my expectations. From all of the Equinox locations I've ever been to, this was crème de la crème. The gym was pristine and so clean from the machines, to the floor, to the bathrooms, showers, Eucalyptus towels, indoor and outdoor pool area. I wish I could be here all the time!! But I'm native to Southern California so anyways New Yorkers have it so good! I wish the gyms in California were as pristine =) Anyway I'm a Happy Camper :D can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Manhattan.

Best lap pool in the city. No sauna in the men’s locker room, only steam room, but they put out barrel saunas in the winter. Great respite from the chaos of the city.

This equinox is clean with helpful staff. Michael is a super nice manager. I have had good experience with Yoga and Pilates. Mardi and ali are amazing. I just didn’t enjoy the class with Richel Ruiz who was the sub for True Barre. He was rude pointing out i’m not having my legs all the way up multiple times!!! Well it was my first Barre class ever (which i told him at beginning of class) and i was on my period! The fact that i showed up early in the morning was for staying consistent with coming to the gym and having fun. I dont wanna push my limits during my period and being judged and called out in front of everybody.

The staff at the pool deck exhibit rude and irresponsible behavior. They handle personal belongings without permission. For example, Mira accidentally dropped my phone, causing the screen to crack, and my bottle of water went missing without explanation. No one has offered an apology for these incidents. I do not recommend becoming a member here, as the manager is unresponsive and ignores complaints. Be cautious, as staff members may handle your belongings without asking, potentially leading to loss or damage. Additionally, they redirect complaints to the front desk downstairs, which has proven to be unhelpful. Do not leave your belongings on the pool deck chairs, as they may be stolen.

As a founding member of the gym, HY gets worse and worse every year. The pool (the amenity justifying the club’s status as Destination PLUS) is just plainly not usable: the staff will look you right in the eye at 11am and tell you “the waitlist to sit by the pool is now full for the rest of the day until closing at 8pm” after you trekked all the way to eleventh avenue in person to even get a chance to inquire. This is despite the fact that pool is filthy with a constant film of debris and oils floating along the surface and bodies lined up edge to edge around the perimeter. The locker rooms are so full you cannot even access your stuff without being bumped in the face by multiple men’s bare bellies. The workout equipment is just normal, but completely unusable during rush hours from 4pm to 8pm. The clientele is also quite unpleasant and poorly mannered. All of this for $4800 a year.

Had to downgrade bc Equinox Hudson Yards became too far for me. Had to pay $250 in fees. They’re making me pay more to pay less. Amazing business that one.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - I made an appointment for today with less than 24 hours, I made the reservation the day before and called today to request a transfer to another time, and without even saying that I would cancel my appointment, they charged both my gift card and the same amount from my credit card! not to mention how rude and uneducated the spa employees are in dealing with situations! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

This one is the best Equinox in New York City! The facilities are top-notch, and the staff is always helpful.

However, I have noticed recently that the cleanliness of the pool and cold plunge area has been compromised.

Despite this, I still think this Equinox location stands out from the rest. The equipment is always well-maintained, and the classes are top-notch. I just hope they can get the pool and cold plunge area back to their usual high standards of cleanliness.

Not worth price. Elevator consistently broken to get into gym. When you get there, gym is always packed with most people on their phones (typical gym). The main issue is the lockerroom, maintenance staff always cleaning the small things at peak times which can wait for slower hours. Additionally, the energy from members in the group fitness studio is sub-par. Instructors are great but the members are low low energy. Lastly, the coat check is inconveniently placed nowhere near the entrance.
The one lasting quality (giving this review 2 stars) is the manager on duty Joey. He is professional, kind, and puts members first even though many of them are rude. He’s always a pleasure to see and makes the experience enjoyable.
Also, these Grown Alchemist products??? Let’s see.

The day that I finally got to cancel my membership, I felt free! $400 a month for a year straight (cannot cancel your membership until a year). Was it worth it? Clearly not. The pool always dirty, the gym super crowded all the time… you have to WAIT a long time to go on machines. Don’t get me started on waiting for the stair master. Classes all packed with hotel visitors. People constantly on their phone in the girls locker room taking videos and pictures (HELLO! I am nude here!). The cold plunge in the summer PACKED. The outdoor pool PACKED and dirty! The showers DIRTY (I guess too many people it’s hard to keep up!! AGAIN THIS GYM IS OVER CROWDED!)

You guys keep selling memberships left and right, and letting the hotel guests in. It has ruined the luxury and beauty of equinox.
Felt robbed of my money for a year straight. Thank god I’m free and took my money elsewhere! When I complained (sent an email and everything) about all of this and how it is not WORTH my money and I would finally like to cancel— all I got was okay we will process your cancellation. How about do better and sell the experience you claim to.

Find another gym, you will regret being here.

Equinox at Hudson Yards has clearly has sold too many memberships, besides increasing the rates even to its older members. But worse lately it is totally packed with hotel guests who ruin group classes by arrive late, even 20 min into the class, not knowing what to do,. They stop constantly to take movies of the class or selfies while the class is going on!!!.. thus disrupting the flow and atmosphere. They place themselves between stations and instructors cannot stop to correct them so the others have to. In the spa and pools there are similar issues.. while once upon a time members we poised polite and expert goers, now people open the doors constantly, take photos or use their phones where they are not allowed, and are loud and crass worse of all. Cleansiness has really fallen off as well, today the yoga class floor was covere in har, and the cleaning staff shouts and laughs loudly in the halls and lockers, contributing to a thorrible spa experience. So while the membership fees keep going up and the few guest passes don't even grant access to classes, the hotel guests reap all the benefits and spoil the gym for the rest of us. It is clearly no longer worth it to become a member here, as the appearance is all this gym has to offer over other locations, just like its guests ::(

Equinox at Hudson Yards used to be gym heaven and haven, until very recently that is. Now the place is overcrowded,, clearly has sold too many memberships. But not only that, it is particularly packed with hotel guests who ruin the classes and spa experience constantly. Not only they arrive late to class, but they don't know where to go nor what to do, take selfies while exercising, and place themselves between stations. The spa and pools have similar problems, overrun with people who open the doors constantly, take photos or use their phones, and are loud and crass worse of all. The staff no longer cleans well, perhaps because they can't keep up, and they shout and chat loudly in the halls and lockers, contributing to a totally ruined spa experience. So while the membership fees keep going up and the few guest passes don't grant access to classes, the hotel guests reap all the benefits and spoil the gym for the rest of us. It is clearly so much better now to become a member elsewhere, as the appearance is all this gym has to offer over other locations, just like its guests ::(

Just sterile and unfriendly. The gym itself is an urban, modern oasis of sorts with a narrow but lengthy (probably 25 yards) swimming pool that has restrictions for use as a non-member. It's a gym that is frequented by business executives, fitness influences, hotel guests, and pretentious members. Expensive, exclusive. Straight gyms/exercise clubs are losing their attractions as the public flocks to a more community exercise engagement theme. Even Peloton has lost some popularity and now may be consumed by Apple, Inc. As the cost of living rises in NYC, more denizens will curtail their personal amenities to those that are affordable and common-sensical. Budgeting and cost-savings is a real entity in this city now, for everyone. Find one gym you love, assure it's affordable and convenient. This particular Equinox is a gym for those with high-pay grades and business professional types. The hotel is equally expensive as it is in the Hudson Yards neighborhood. Recommend with reservation.

I went there November 15, 2023 which is 2 months ago for 90mins massage (been here 3times). Get there like 45mins early so I can use the sauna. Everything seems to be okay. The receptionist took me to the locker room so I change my clothes and I told her I’m gonna take pictures first at tea room before I use the sauna, she didn’t said anything, didn’t even tell me that I have to be on time or I have limited time at the sauna. So I wasn’t rush because I still have plenty of time before my appointment. 10-15mins later, she saw me while she’s taking other clients in to the room and said oh you’re still here, I said yes , why?. She said you have 15mins left to use the sauna, I said you didn’t tell me that. No worries, I went in to the sauna but only like 8mins in there, the lady( looks Indian or Spanish) came and said my time is up. I got a little upset at this point. So I told her that this is not impressive and give her a little complain. I went back in to the locker room and sit there waiting for my massage appointment. The same lady came in and apologized me for what happened. She offered me to use the dome (small sauna dome which is 2 time sweater than normal sauna) for 30mins for free and she said she is finishing her work now. I accept that and went into the dome for 30mins. Once I came out and went back to the locker room, I couldn’t use my passcode to open my locker. So I went out and get the lady to help me. Once she opens my locker, I saw my Cartier love ring with diamond is missing. I got panicked but the. I realize that my Rolex is still there. Now I’m curious why someone took the cheaper ring instead of a Rolex with diamonds? So I talked to the manager, but they keep asking me to double check. I told them I put the ring in the middle of the watch, there’s no way I will drop it because I know I put my jewelry separately from the clothes. They didn’t help you for anything. Just trying to play stupid and blame me. I asked them if it’s possible to check your staffs because the two ladies are the only ones who saw me taking the jewelry off and put in the locker. Until now nothing happened. No apology nor trying to take any responsibility towards their client.

Would get a 5 from me if they'd take my feedback about adding hooks or nooks inside the swimming pool area. They love a sleek interior. I am paying for elegance. Hooks or nooks are far less unsightly than the status quo: people flop and pile and drape and screw around with their clothes, towels and cups. There are 6 small chairs for sometimes a dozen people. It's not workable. Fix!

Plenty of natural light. Very well maintained and stylish flagship facilities offer everything you need compared to other locations. Most machines and racks are accessible as long as you avoid weekend mornings and weekdays from 6-7:30 PM (not sure about the AM rush). Despite being located in a high-tourist zone, location is relatively easy to access and the regulars are chill. HY feels spacious and cared for enough to justify the spend. Love the frigid outdoor cold plunge in warmer months; indoor version doesn’t hit the same. The outdoor barrel saunas are often overrun and effectiveness is dubious during busier times. All in all, happy to call this my primary gym.
