I am not a member here but was a guest quit a few times.everyone so nice and great place I love the shake shop and how Carmen makes you feel welcomed and her smoothies are amazing you can she she makes them with love, I went in today just for a smoothie just to find out the shop was closed down I heard other members complaining I'm very disappointed cause Carmen was a joy to talk to, and to top it off no one can tell me if she went to another shop. I feel Carmen was and should be a part of equinox team member ,

I tried visiting to see what they have to offer on a nice Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm. They would not even let me see the place as a “sales advisor“ was not available.

The place started off strong but a couple years later, the quality of staff has gone downhill. Equinox was supposed to be upscale. The ceiling had some water stains in the women's bathroom. The towels are disgustingly stained. I found hair, lint, blood, and tan stains on the towels. There is a very offputting odor from the eucalyptus infused towels - almost like mildew. The floor of the children's area is not sanitary, yet they let children walk barefoot. That's a safety hazard. God forbid a kid drops a toy on another child's bare foot, that's a liability. If I'm going to pay a monthly fee, it better be worth it. Saturday mornings are the worst. The staff was not in their work attire. There was a new trainer that needs to be schooled on etiquette when it comes to discussing client concerns. You don't need to broadcast it to everyone where the hall echoes. None of these newbies know a thing about how to properly communicate in a professional manner. Last year, a new hire tried to poach me from my current PT. How tacky. This place has gone to trash. The new cleaning lady (who doesn't speak a word of English) will walk into the steam room and just clean the floor without regard to privacy. Prior to that, a very rude cleaning lady snipped at me for taking the coldest towel from the bottom as she was folding new ones. She got pissy. Floor mats are heavily scratched up making it look like someone left their crumbs on the floor. This establishment has turned into another NYSC. Gotta do better...

Equinox is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. The group classes and yoga sessions are excellent! The instructors really know how to motivate and guide you through an incredible workout without being aggressive.

Orlando provided great customer service to ensure that as a new client felt comfortable! The facility is beautiful and classes are amazing. Cindy was also amazing as I was a beginner in barre. She guided me through the session and checked on me throughout! I recommend this facility.

Started here 2 weeks ago and Jonathan was so kind to show me around and setup my account for me. I used to go to Equinox in the city and loved it. After a covid I decided to stop working out. I live closest to this location and absolutely love how intimate it is. I recently had a health scare and had some surgery so I decided I definitely need a personal trainer to help me figure out what to do. I typically did classes but wanted a more personal one on one feel! Mallori is my trainer and she has been absolutely amazing. I was nervous about who I would be paired with but ended up really loving her. Mallori walks me through everything and makes me feel confident I can once again get to my goal weight. I appreciate her honesty and expertise so much I bought 54 sessions! 6 first then 48! Looking forward to my training and going to a clean, peaceful gym!

I had a very pleasant experience at Equinox Scarsdale. Orlando, who I believe is a senior membership advisor, gave me a tour of the gym and clearly explained the different membership options available. I'm currently exploring local gyms and figuring out what works best for me, but I really appreciated the warm and informative welcome. Thank you, Orlando!

Avoid Equinox, at Scarsdale, at least! They have a hidden term that basically mentions you cannot cancel your membership for at least a year. I got a membership here and after registration noticed the instruments are limited and basic, and the workout area is super small. Also parking spaces are very limited. So asked them to cancel my membership they said they wouldn’t because I should have carefully read the terms! They keep charging me $215 or so each month while I have only went there two or three times total months ago. After calling them several times and each time they said they’d call me back and they didn’t, until I insisted I hold and wait until some manager could speak, they said they cancel only if I have a medical evidence. Bad business and very disrespectful! Seriously avoid this brand, it’s not worth the hassle and price at all.

TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT JOINING THIS CLUB, please be aware that some of the staff is disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional.

I visited EQX Scarsdale on Monday, March 24, 2025. I finished my workout around 9:58pm, then went to the locker room to wash my hands and change my sweaty shirt to a clean one. The front desk guy approached me in the locker room with an attitude around 10:01pm-10:02pm and told me point black to "hurry up." Keep in mind, he's telling me this as I'm putting on my sweater to leave. I laughed and made a joke about him rushing me because I thought he was playing around with me but he kept a straight face and doubled down. He repeated that I have to hurry up.

The next day I called and asked to speak to a manager so I could share my experience. I was told someone would call me in 24-48 hrs but that was a total lie. Nobody reached out to me. I sent an email to Equinox on the 26th and nobody reached out to me. They’re excellent at calling people when it’s time to sign up for the gym but when it’s time to address a member complaint they’ll flat out ignore you.

Was in NYC for a few days, and my husband and I wanted to visit this gym. When my husband asked the front desk agent (blonde hair blue eyes) if they had a day pass, she stated, “it’s $75 dollars a day…and it’s MEMBERS ONLY.” This statement was not well received. Obviously you have to be a member of any gym to use the facilities. And BTW, they do not offer any military veterans discounts. We just left.

Overcrowded small gym. Good luck finding a machine, especially when all the trainers and their own employees are busy socializing while occupying a machine.

Update: no one responded from the concierge email. 8 months later and I can again confirm the the employees and their trainers continue to use all the main machines during peak hours. Can’t wait til Lifetime opens their location nearby.

I’ve been going to this gym for a decade. It has friendly staff, clean locker room and quality equipment. It has everything you need. Unfortunately the hours are horrible. Please go back to pre-pandemic hours(like promised in a previous post) so I don’t have to cancel and go to Lifetime Fitness based on the hours.

Never crowded, always clean, machines always work, people are not loud and don’t hog machines, staff is polite and professional. Overall pleasant gym experience even when I come in during peak hours. Took off one star because the hours are not great. They close way too early (8pm on weekdays and 5/6pm on weekends).

This is a small boutique health club in Scarsdale New York. They have a nice staff and some nice amenities. It's too bad it doesn't have a pool. Their trainers are excellent and the training floor is superior. They offer lots of classes. They have a small cafe. It's not a place for young people. The locker rooms are very clean and neat but small. The fees are extremely high but worth it if you want to be pampered, I assume. There is parking out back. This club has been around for quite some time and sits at the edge of Eastchester bordering Scarsdale New York. I will admit their hiring process is kind of odd because I recommended someone to go here to get a job and it took basically forever and no one ever called that person back. I really wonder what that means in the long run. Anyway, it's a decent place with a decent staff and if you willing to pay the freight, you may enjoy it..

not sure what is going on, but in the past few months they have stopped organizing the weights. it seems much dirtier and less organized all around. i don't appreciate it when people fail to rack their weights or leave their towels out, but at a gym like Equinox you would expect the staff to keep things tidy. i have never seen another Equinox in this bad of a state.
