I’ve been working out my entire life. Sometimes I fall off the wagon, but I’m quick to get back on. I’ve had trainers before, but nothing like Jacob. This man knows exactly what to do and has a unique approach. Extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to how one’s body talks to itself. He challenges you to new levels. I’m lifting more weight now than I ever have and I’m well past midlife he has an amazing sense of humor and always keeps me laughing during the workouts.
Some of my trainers have looked like they need training themselves not Jacob. This man is superfit. And far from lazy, he gets right into the workout routine with you. If you’re looking to improve your body switch things up and get the best shape of your life look no further Jacob is your man a true professional.

My review of Jacob is long overdue. I began training with Jacob in June 2022 and have continued to do so at least 5 days a week since then. I am an academic in higher education and a clinical mental health professional. I am a proponent of physical health being as critical to healing as are the psychological interventions that are employed in sessions with clients. I have trained with other trainers in my lifetime, but now at 63 years old (almost 64 in a few months), I was looking to have someone who challenged me to meet my overall fitness goals. Jacob is a gifted trainer on many levels and because of the specialized training program that he has created for me, I have gone way beyond any of my own expectations from when I started. Jacob’s expertise, patience, interest, and enthusiasm---especially when I hit specific goals---is contagious and provides me with the motivation to continue and go above the expected outcomes. Jacob creates an engaging atmosphere with amazing music (Cher, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan, Dixon Dallas, and many others), hosts his sessions in a great workspace filled with superhero posters and great equipment, and has non-stop energy which engages me immediately even after a long workday. I never thought that I would be able to do a headstand, handstand (still both works in progress) , nor even learn boxing skills during workout sessions. Because of Jacob’s personal fitness training research, skills and knowledge, I feel extremely safe of any injuries and attempt any of the new exercises that he teaches me. My posture and balance have improved, there is noticeable muscle growth which motivates me to work out harder, and my own ability to move out of my comfort zone is a result of training with Jacob. An unexpected outcome and one that I truly appreciate is that Jacob keeps me current to the newest music and entertainment and that keeps me young too😊! Jacob you’re an excellent trainer and person. Love your sense of humor and wealth of knowledge on many topics too!! I am forever grateful to you and look forward to continuing to train with you and hone those handstands, headstands and those hooks. LOOK NO FURTHER!

I've never had a trainer but for a first time experience, Jacob is knowledgeable, down to earth, sensible and a ball of positive energy when you workout with him. He takes his time to get to know you before executing a plan. I asked him to help me lose 60lbs (March) by fall of this year and I was able to achieve this goal with his help(September 2024). Aside from Jacob's upbeat attitude, his home gym is beautifully decorated with Marvel comic themed posters. There's always great music to work to and he makes an hour feel like 5 mins. I would recommend Jacob to anyone serious about maintaining a healthy body and wanting to have fun while they do it.

I've been doing workouts with Jacob for the last several months and he's not the kind of trainer who just yells at you to do 1 more rep. He takes the time to understand what your goals are and tailors the workout to meet that goal. The other thing I really like is that he keeps me accountable. I'll be honest, there were times early on where something else popped up in my life (work obligations, illness, happy hour) and I used that as an excuse to postpone the work out. Jacob didn't give me a guilt trip, didn't lecture me about commitment and all I got was a friendly, "no problem, buddy. I have free time tomorrow and we can reschedule." He keeps you on track and accountable to yourself without being condescending or preachy. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommend working with Jacob. He works with you to set up a program targeting your goals and keeps it interesting. Just about the only workout I do where I don’t find myself looking at my watch to see how much longer I have to go. And helped me get more into weightlifting, which is an important part of overall health improvement, especially as we get older.

Jacob is the best!! He really listens to you and develops a personalized plan to help you achieve your goals. Over the past few months I've grown stronger and I can already see the difference in my day-to-day fitness levels, like while doing yardwork or hiking with my dog.
