Evolve Buffalo is a gym in the heart of Buffalo's Elmwood Village offering private and semi-private personal training, group classes, as well as open gym memberships - this way, you can choose whichever route is right for you on your fitness journey.
Evolve strives to be a place of inclusivity and empowerment for all. Regardless of who you are, what you look like, or what level of fitness you're at, you will never leave Evolve feeling as if you don't belong.

I’ve been going to Evolve since fall ‘22. I’ve done personal training, monthly memberships, class passes, pop up events, and open gym.
Evolve is incredibly flexible and supportive at its core. I never felt pressured to stick with personal training or judged for taking time away to bike and play volleyball. In fact, class instructors connected me with others who bike and incorporated exercises specific for volleyball into trainings.
Evolve truly lives out its values of well rounded health. Instructors don’t bring up calories or “earning” your food or how to snatch your waistline. I’ve felt incredibly supported as a larger bodied person in all the classes and interactions I’ve had. Especially when modifications are given without implicit judgment.
Liz and now Melissa have developed an insanely supportive culture that I keep going back to. It’s a really nice environment.

I attended my first class at Evolve on 07/31/2025, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The workout was challenging and energizing, and I walked out feeling both accomplished and motivated. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming—staff and members alike are friendly and supportive, making it easy to feel right at home. If you’re looking to better yourself and make real progress on your fitness journey, I highly recommend giving Evolve a try.

Evolve offers the best variety of group classes in Buffalo. Melissa has done such a great job creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone no matter what level training you are at. I have been attending evolve workout classes , person training and open gym for 4 years now and I couldn’t love it more! I love what Melissa has done for evolve , it’s more than just a gym it’s a community for all! I always feel so comfortable working out there and that is huge for me! Melissa has helped me with my strength and mobility and I couldn’t be more thankful! I started my workout journey here towards the end of Covid and I plan on staying forever !

I joined this gym six months ago after moving to Buffalo, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The trainers here are incredibly accommodating and inclusive, making sure that everyone—regardless of experience or fitness level—feels welcome and supported. Love this gym! It’s small but has everything you need, and the classes are awesome. The instructors actually care and make sure you’re doing things right, which makes a huge difference. The vibe is super welcoming, and it never feels overcrowded.
If you’re looking for a place where you actually enjoy working out and feel part of a community, this is it. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough!

I’ve been going to Evolve for a little under a year now and I cannot rave about it enough!!! It’s such a small little gym but has everything you could need. It’s a mostly free weight gym, but you can do everything you need to still! Every staff member makes you feel welcome as you walk through the doors - they all learn and remember your name and greet you with positivity and a smile as soon as you walk through the doors. They’re also all super flexible when it comes to personal training sessions and have classes at all different hours of the day to fit your schedule!

I love evolve! I started off with personal training with Melissa. She is absolutely wonderful and tailors your work outs to your specific needs. She also helped me with plans to stay accountable because I was struggling with creating a routine. She really cares about her clients and it shows. She helped me feel confident in my form and abilities, so I recently transitioned to the group class membership and they are so much fun!

Liz and her team are just amazing. She is super knowledgeable, always able to work around old injuries or figure out different ways to get at a particular muscle group. Liz is the best cheerleader and still the most chill personal trainer you could ask for.

I started off going to Evolve because a friend of mine suggested it. Since then, I have become a little bit obsessed. It’s incredibly accessible for anyone’s schedule, eliminating the excuse of no time. BUT THEN I went to the Evolve Sweat and Sustenance class and it was so fun that now I want to do every special event they host. The Wednesday morning Power Hour classes with Angelina are recommended if you’re into that sort of thing! 🤣 … 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely in love with the gym and Liz! I do a combination of her Full Body 40 classes and personal training sessions. Classes are always fun and challenging. Every station has different options of weights and modifications for every fitness level. Personal training sessions are even better, I feel stronger and healthier - Liz is incredibly motivating and always pushes me to do “just one more” and hit some PRs. Super grateful for LCPT and can’t recommend it enough!!!!

Working out with Liz was life changing. I had goals to become a stronger, healthier person and she gave me the tools, supported and challenged me, and our appointments kept me accountable all week long. I made huge personal gains with her and learned how to apply and modify what she was doing so I could workout in my own home, too.
Beyond unlocking the world of fitness, she is also an incredible person who I truly looked forward to spending time with. I always felt supported; I never felt judged.
I have since moved out of state, and I doubt I’ll ever find someone as kind, educated, and motivating to train me. She removed a lifelong barrier to physical fitness and cheered me on at every level of my “journey”. Thanks Liz!!! I miss you!!!
