Great gym with an awesome atmosphere. The entire place is always clean and well‑maintained, which makes working out so much more enjoyable. The trainers and staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming — they’re always ready to help or answer questions. The equipment is in great condition and there’s plenty of variety for any workout. I was never informed of any policy stating that the freeze would automatically lift after two billing cycles. When I froze my membership, I spoke to a male staff member who clearly told me, “Just call us back when you’re ready to unfreeze.” Now you’re claiming I spoke to a woman and implying I’m mistaken or lying—rather than taking accountability for what sounds like miscommunication from your staff.

I’ve been a loyal member for over two years, and not once was I made aware of any changes to the freeze or cancellation policy. The way this situation was handled has been extremely unprofessional. This isn’t about the money—it’s about the lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility.

Instead of addressing the issue honestly, it seems your priority is to manage appearances in public reviews. A business should be accountable, especially when its own team fails to give consistent or accurate information. Members deserve better.

I froze my membership in April and was told it would remain frozen until I called to unfreeze it. No one mentioned it would automatically reactivate after two months, and I received no notice before being charged. In June, I was billed three times — even though billing is normally twice a month — and the gym refused to issue a refund. I was also told I’d be charged again in July due to a cancellation policy I was never informed of. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and poor customer service.

Great place for a party. They offer a birthday party package which was truly amazing. You get to choose 3 of several different sports options and everything is included, including pizza (except the cake and balloons). I bought sandwiches for the adults to eat separately. You even get part hosts which organize the kids, play with them, make sure everything is going smoothly. I was a little nervous because I booked sight unseen but it honestly turned out to be the best party I've had for my kids. The parents got involved in the games and I had several of them say that this was the best kids party they'd been to. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s an actual gym that you can go to and feel incredibly comfortable working out at! The staff, environment, and other members as well all have respect for each other. There is no BS in the gym. You show up and put the work in that you need to! It’s my main gym I go to 5 days outta the week and I wouldn’t choose any other

We had our son’s 10th birthday a few weeks ago here. It was fantastic. John the owner was very accommodating and easy to work with leading up to the party. My wife and I were very impressed with how our son was greeted and treated. They had 4 staff/coaches assigned to the party coordinating all the games and playing with the kids and having so much fun. My son said it was the best party he ever had and the feedback from his friends was the same. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a gym in the Newburgh NY area Fitt4Life Pro Gym is the place to go! The atmosphere is very professional and welcoming. This gym is clean and has all new equipment. It also offers batting cages and a basketball court. It’s a great place for young athletes which I love. I look forward to being a part of the community here and seeing what else it brings.

Fit for life gym is a great gym for a fitness journey the staff is very helpful and the weight lifting machines are great, as well as the yoga room, basketball courts, and batting cages. I love getting my workouts in here!

New member here! So excited about this gym. This neighborhood needed exactly this! I was looking for a gym that’s professional, clean, great equipment, and great customer service and Fit4lifePro checked all the boxes! The staff is fantastic and super helpful which is a plus. One of the old time members told me how much it’s changed within the last couple months, and I’m so happy I joined. Looking forward to building a gym community family here!

What a mess. They had my 15 year old sign a membership contract. The kids going there stopped going because it changed so drastically. We asked them to cancel the membership and we're told it has to be paid until December. In November they double charged my kid. We called several times asking for a manager or owner but no one is ever available. So we went in person. Disaster! On the phone and in person, no one knows what the hell is going on. We left with the agreement that the account was closed and because of the double payment we would not be charged for December. THEY JUST CHARGE MY KID'S CARD AGAIN!!! Called them twice since this happened and no manager available. Someone called me back an hour later saying it was a bank mistake! Called the bank... It was not a mistake they charged us. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CROOKS! Taking advantage of a kid who shouldn't be signing a contract to begin with. If the card is charged in Jan, there will be legal action taken.

In response to your response; if the membership was signed with the previous owners, why are we obligated to pay out the 6 months? Wouldn't the contract be null and void with the exchange of ownership? Why don't we have a copy of what was signed? Your inability to accept your part in this is unbelievable. There was NOT a charge back fee. Just please make sure we are cancelled. I do not want to see another charge for this.

Extremely pleased with Fitt4Life ProGym!! The new owner has gone above and beyond in making this gym the best place to work out ! He has transformed this gym in just 5 months. The new equipment is an amazing upgrade. I also need to touch on the fact, that I have never seen this gym so clean. Also, there are now group class options which I am looking forward to trying!
