It is open for active military only. Residents, including veterans with service connected disabilities are not allowed to use the gym. Hope this changes one day.

The best military gym I've been to in years. Equipment shows it's age but the roof isn't leaking, floors are clean enough and best of all it's never packed. Crazy that this exist in nyc of all places.

Military Gym. Obviously far better than a public civilian gym. There’s less people which means more equipment is available. The gym is clean and well kept. The worst thing I can say is that they’re closed at specific times for cleaning which is for safety. Whatever you need it’s there!

No wifi. Hasn't had wifi in over 10 years very disappointed. Especially when downstairs little to no phone service so cannot stream music when working out. Wifi needs to be fix. Staff is very good no complaints there

Great gym, for the people saying this is a small gym I’m guessing they have not been to the downstairs area which is huge and has two private studios one for boxing and one for other classes. It’s hardly ever crowded so no waiting on any machines and recently was just renovated with a cross fit area upstairs.

Great gym, good for all your needs. There is absolutely zero cell phone service inside. If you want music it better be downloaded to your phone, or no tunes for your workout. Too many son servicemembers use the gym. This takes away from the reason why the gym exists.
Activities need to be better advertised for the patrons.

It is a privilege to use this gym however they could do better with providing the basic needs when using a restroom facility. If it is your first time, please don't be too shocked to see that the gym is small.

The gym is great many options for working out and nice basketball court but as far as professionalism within one person that works here which his name is Mohammad , he made my experience here worse. Today was the first time i came to this gym with my family to play basketball. so after 2 hours of playing my shirt was drenched in sweat. so i take my shirt off and i here someone screaming TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRT! So i look around but don't see anyone so after another 5 minutes i hear someone saying it again. This time i see the person very blurry mind you i couldn't see him because im nearsighted and didn't have my glasses. so i walk over with my shirt in my hand to see him. So than i put on my shirt right in front of him. He caught an attitude with me saying that its policy to have your shirt on etc. I told him im a adult too so don't treat me like a kid. i told him all he had to do was walk up to me and tell me, not scream at the top of your lungs like we in the hood. when i told him this he called the mp police on me. Mohammad even lied to the police saying that im being sarcastic and that i didn't listen to him. if i didn't listen than why was my shirt on? Mohamed also played the victim by saying "I just want to get home to my daughters" So why would you call the cops on me?, wasting everyone's time over a shirt smh. because i dropped your ego?
