Sam is very professional, knowledgeable and motivational personal trainer.

Out of all the personal trainers I've tried through the years, Sam has been the most adept. The knowledge and training he gave me has helped me with my fitness goals and decreased the physical pain I've had. Being down a few pants sizes makes me think I should get him a beer soon.

Iβve been training with Sam Gomes for a year at this point. I am relatively new to going to the gym, I started going in August of 2020. Working with Sam completely removed everything I found intimidating about going to the gym. He makes going to the gym a welcoming experience.
Sam encouraged me every step of the way. I say this with zero hyperbole: I am in the best shape Iβve been in since high school since working with Sam.
Sam helped build consistent habits. Going to the gym is part of my routine now, and I truly believe itβs because of my work with Sam. His words of encouragement, his advice, and his genuine interest in my life were paramount in my experience. I cannot recommend Sam strongly enough-- especially if you are a person who is hesitant about going to the gym.

As someone with chronic back pain due to an injury during a military deployment to Iraq, it is very difficult for me to work out effectively without causing pain during certain routines. Sam was very professional and understanding about the situation and has immense experience with these kinds of workouts and ways to achieve an excellent session without stressing my weak points. As a total beginner I've struggled with consistency and motivation for exercise. After some bad experiences with trainers that I felt had pushed me too hard too early, I thought this stuff wasn't for me.
Despite that, Sam was able to meet me where I was at and built a fundamental understanding of fitness I'd been missing. He is as knowledgeable as he is down to Earth. Never did I feel intimidated or discouraged during our sessions. I still have a ways to go, but after only a month I now actually look forward to getting in the gym and can already feel the difference it's made.
If you're anything like me and you're unsure personal training is for you, I can't recommend talking with Sam enough. Since working one on one, my perspective has completely changed for the better.
