Gary Miller is awesome. I recommend meeting with him and at least having a conversation with him if you're unsure. I learned a lot about myself during my consult and have a better understanding of what I have to work on, and he's here to support me every step of the way. Looking forward to working with him. Garry is such a great trainer. Highly recommend him. After not going to the gym for almost 3 years I was ready to get back in shape and he helped me a lot. I’ve never worked out this hard before. When I was ready to give up during sessions he pushed me through. Which is what I needed. I’ve been to another gym on my own and quit many times after a week. But with him I have someone who holds me accountable and pushes me through. If you want to get in shape Gary is the man💪🏻.

Wish i could put zero stars. Went in and heard him talking about taking back are country, we should take it back like he was in the revolution. When he saw a video of minorities walking in nyc. Seemed like a lot of roid rage and pent up anger for hispanics and anyone. Would not recommend

Only great things can be said about Gary, the team, and location as a whole. Gary is a very personable trainer and puts in the effort for you(the client) to reach your goals. Throughout our sessions, Gary focused on my form and technique, providing me with detailed explanations and corrections to ensure that I was getting the most out of every exercise. He is also incredibly patient and encouraging, never pushing me beyond my limits but always challenging me to push myself harder and reach new levels of fitness.
In addition he is able to explain the science behind each exercise, and how it was benefiting my body in different ways which is important in keeping me engaged and motivated.

Gary is a very professional and knowledgeable personal trainer, he’s been my coach for two weeks. I met Gary for a consultation regarding a fitness program to lose body fat and gain muscle / strength. Gary took his time reviewing my history and goals and even does a fitness assessment using a body scan, as well as a mini workout to assess weaknesses, strengths and imbalances. I was taken back by his professionalism and interest in my personal situation as my past experiences with personal trainers have always been less than adequate. I just recently signed up for Personal Training with Gary and and already completed 2 sessions. Ive been to a couple of sessions with Gary and Can already tell he is VERY logical in his craft. Hes already showed me my weakness and explained to me how we are going to improve throughout the program. Hes done Core workouts ive never done before and explained to me what each movement is doing and which muscles its activating. Ive never been one to stretch or do post-workout recovery methods and he went through why it is so imperative to your athletic success. I came to Gary for help with back squats. I had been constantly hurting myself and I couldn't figure out why. He had me do a bunch of drills and based on my feedback from that and from watching me squat he figured out the cause of my issue and he put together a plan to fix those imbalances. He has been very supportive of my goal and takes his time to explain why he's having me do certain movements and what I should be concentrating on while I'm doing them. He's very friendly and is always open to answering any questions I have. Overall it's been a great experience.

When I made my first appointment with Gary I figured we would lift some weights and talk about my goals like every other trainer, well I quickly found out Gary isn't like every other trainer. We started out with a chat about my reasoning behind pursuing a trainer, Gary explained what he expects out of his clients. He then took my bmi, blood pressure, and weight. He ran through a few drills with me which allowed him to observe my strengths and my weakness. With all that completed Gary has set up a personalized program that will allow me not only to reach my goals but to correct imbalances in my body. I trained with Gary for a good 8 months when I was working in SI. I Have also been in the health and wellness industry for 12 years. Gary is the best strength and conditioning coach I have ever trained with. I managed huge club in Park slope BK (Harbor fitness) and trained with many of the trainers we employed, Id have to say Gary was the best of them all. Unfortunately I Moved back to Bk and had to give up my training with him. If you are looking for a great trainer with a great attitude and with great advice on dieting he is the best on the island. I have had some health issues in recent years which have thrown me into a downward spiral. I need to exercise and keep my body fat down but i have no energy or motivation to exercise. I met Gary and explained my issue. His approach to getting me back in shape was shocking. The routines he had me do would get me energized and a full workout in half the time it would usually take me on my own. His guidance and expertise are also unmatched. While training with Gary I know I am in good hands. He fixes my form, he watches me like a hawk and optimizes my movements to get most out of each set/rep. I was having a lot of back pain on a daily basis. I would excersize on my own but I never saw any progress in my training. I started to train with Gary and I was able to see the improvements within weeks! He got me on a routine excersize plan and broke down everything for me. I have been with him for over a year and I cannot be happier with the results and the strength that I have now. And oh yea that back pain...never had it again!
