I have been going to the Saw Mill Club for nearly two decades. The group exercise classes are outstanding ! The instructors are knowledgeable and motivating. I think the variety offered makes it something for everyone. Thank you to Kathleen Goldring for constantly expanding our choices! The pool and the aquatics program can use some improvement. Whitney has begun to make necessary changes and I look forward to new, experienced and motivating instructors like Genoeffa. Carolβs loss was huge and a void that will be difficult to fill. The trainers are great to work with. Tennis and pickleball are amazing.
Finally, relax at the cafe with delicious food or indulge yourself with a massage!
Genesis will make changes but hopefully not lose the family-friendly atmosphere created when the SMC was established.

Sawmill club and Saw Mill Club East are the best gyms I have experienced. The classes are varied effective, the staff is friendly, the club is maintained with extreme cleanliness. All of the teachers and trainers are outstanding. Everyone does an amazing job and are super friendly and helpful. I feel like Iβm going to a spot every day I go to work out thereβs a steam. Thereβs a sauna there a pools. The showers are available and super clean. If you wanna a great workout in a friendly clean environment, this is your place.

Genesis Health Club of Mt. Kisco is a very special place. I have been a member since 2020 and primarily use the pool, steam, and sauna rooms. I have been extremely happy with my pool experience and the quality of the water and the matinence of the facility. The lifeguard's, Paul, Randy, John, and Derrick are always so very accommodating and friendly. They really make you feel welcome!! Also I would like to mention Chris, the swim team coach, who has always taken care of me when I had any problems, which has been seldom. I use the club on an average of 3 times a week, and always look forward to my swim and experience at the club.
Also I have taken advantage of the chiropractor, Dr. Drucker who has an office at the club. He has helped me with my back pain over the past two years and is just wonderful. I always leave his office feeling so much better with much relief from my back problems.
I have and will continue to highly recommend the Genesis Health Club to my friends and anyone I know who shows interest in a health club. You will be very happy with your decision!! It is a great place to swim laps, enjoy a steam, take advantage of the many offerings, and meet some very nice people!!

Poor Customer Service, Poor billing.
Billing issues galore. After switching from the saw mill club to genesis, I heard about so many complaints, and didn't realize I would become one of them.
They will continue to charge you membership dues after you cancel, or try to cancel. Then they will lie to you about fees being refunded to you.
New York State recently made it easier to cancel gym memberships and this club is still not abiding by the law (Businesses are required to accept cancellations through its respective website, electronic mail, telephone, mail, or in person.),
Think twice about signing up for this gym. This was our second summer at this gym, because they have a great outdoor swimming pool and the kids love it, however you would think after a child almost DROWNED, they would have improved their customer service to keep their loyal customers.
We have resorted to disputing the charges with our CC company and hopefully Genesis gets its act together, because after reading more reviews, it seems like a huge problem for them.
Pros:
nice gym, adequate equipment, has tennis and swimming, locker rooms are nice.
Cons:
CUSTOMER SERVICE
INTEGRITY, OR LACK THEREOF
BILLING ISSUES
SECURITY/SAFETY

I had the pleasure of working with Doreen as my personal trainer and not only was she kind and patient but she always had a well organized and planned out workout. If you're looking for a trainer, I highly recommend working with her!

Overall a great facility but the membership price is absurd. I understand if you are using the membership for the pools, classes and racquet sports. But as someone who just wants a gym and a locker room 150+ per month is a crazy unjustifiable price. Wish there was a membership just for the gym.

If you have the money and need a gym this is the place. Very pricey but it is justified with really nice amenities albeit not quite as nice as saw mill club near spins, the only reason I canβt justify 5 stars is the absurd price.

My kids were in their swim program (Storm). Always thought that their swim team was NOT very inclusive for whatever reason.
During the course of this year (2022-23) we had a situation where one of the coaches were bullying / picking on my daughter. On multiple occasions she would burst in to tears on our drive back. We brought it to the attention of the Storm leadership and no action was taken. The coach started picking on my daughter with even more ridiculous complaints after we complained about the coach. And to make it worse the coach retaliated by not letting her go to the next level when most swimmers at her level was moved up.
The team could definitely benefit from some basic diversity and inclusion training.

Wonderful club. My older daughter is on the swim team and my younger daughter does swim lessons. The swim program is truly a gem. I enjoy the classes and my husband works out. We all enjoy the outdoor pool in the summer. We couldn't ask for a better club, and they serve alcoholic beverages at the snack bar!

Absolutely worst experience I've ever had trying to enroll my son for swimming lessons at SMC. After numerous back and forth emails we had a trial evaluation. I agreed to the recommendation of starting with one on one lessons after thinking it over for one night. Sent two follow up emails that went unanswered. Left a voicemail. No call back. Called and asked to speak to the GM and was sent to fitness director who responded to my voicemail that he will personally make sure the Aquatics Director gets the message and to give it 24 hours for a response. That was 7 days ago. All in 2 weeks of nothing. Found a different swim school and am very happy. I was also going to join this facility out of convenience as it is closer to home than the one I go to, but forget that. Would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Not sure how anyone could give the Saw Mill Club less than five stars. Equipment is top notch and always updated/refreshed, sauna, steam room, towel service, indoor and outdoor pools, signing privileges (like a real cc) for cashless purchase of GREAT food, basketball courts, spin area with reservations, great personal trainers with almost no turn over (says the most about working environment to me), child care available while working out, they offer flu shots during flu season, have vendors during the holidays, and have not raised their dues for many years. I have been a member for over 15 years and use the club at least 3x a week. It is unique, but like everything, you get what you pay for. Some things in life are worth the splurge. This is one of them. A++

The club facilities are good, and the staff and swim instructors are friendly and accessible. I do prefer the Saw Mill East facility more, as its clientele are younger, more racially diverse and the facility is more modern as well.

"Exceeds expectations" is how I'd sum up Saw Mill Club. Ample parking, no-wait well-maintained machines, inclusive classes, varied and pleasant work-out spaces, well-appointed locker room, welcoming staff, and a cafe with healthy creative choices have helped me decide not to put my membership on hold this summer because I'd miss coming here. My first experience with staff was the intro tour, upbeat yet low-key. I like the Saw Mill Club's relaxed-energy vibe in a top-drawer setting.

This is a great club for not only its high end looks and feels but a great place from the workout area to the staff...I joined mainly for the pools, basketball court, and itβs cycling. Itβs a beautiful club inside to the outside the staff are really friendly and nice and you donβt feel pressured...I believe that if your looking for a place with a great hospitality and nice and clean facilities this is the right place for you!

I joined Saw Mill about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. The place is immaculate, the staff is warm and friendly and it isn't overly crowded. My trainer Paul is wonderful; I love the whirlpool, pool, workout rooms and lux changing rooms. And the tennis courts are great as well. Highly recommended.

Best sports club in Westchester. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and the quality has only gotten better.
Updated Yoga studio with full-thermostat and humidity controls. Steam and sauna in lockers. Large, fluffy towels provided. State of the art gym facility, with tons of group training and personal coaching options. Not to mention the racquet sports.
A membership here gets you automatic access to Saw Mill East on the other side of the tracks.

I have been a member of the Saw Mill Club on and off throughout the years. Managements passion for health and fitness shows in the hiring and training of the best group exercise instructors in the area. I am especially fond of the yoga program. Unlike other "gym" yoga class experiences, the Saw Mill Club makes you feel as though you are in a real yoga studio by paying attention to every detail including temperature, lighting, and music. My 6 year old son has utilized both the aquatics and tennis programs and has received better and more advanced instruction than many of his peers who participate in similar programs. The staff is attentive and helpful and the club is always spotless. It is by far the superior choice in the area to reach your fitness goals.

I have been a member of Saw Mill Club for many years.
My main areas of interest are tennis and the cardio/weight training area.
First let me talk about tennis. There are 13 tennis courts and all are meticulously maintained. The courts are resurfaced on a regular basis and any wear is promptly repaired. The tennis staff is incredible. The tennis professionals are not only superb players but are also excellent teachers. They have elevated my game and continue to do so, often offering constructive advice even when I am playing on another court.
The tennis teaching proβs at Saw Mill Club have made my daughter a competitive high school varsity tennis player in just a few short years, at the same time making each lesson fun as well as instructional.
The cardio and weight training area has brand new, state of the art equipment, as well as a full complement of free weights. The fitness staff are friendly and always ready to help.
The weight machines are excellently maintained. The free weights always racked and ready. And the wide variety of cardio equipment will satisfy all cross training desires.
The Saw Mill Club staff is always friendly. This club is my home away from home and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a family friendly health and fitness club.

The club is expensive although all the equipment is top of the line. The locker rooms at "east" constantly need attention and the staff never re-racks weight for those of us that don't bench 300lbs.
Tennis courts are clean and bright however the brand new courts they just had put in there have all delaminated from the sub floor but they are still playable. The instruction there is mediocre for what you pay for, I can beat most of the pros there and i'm 55 years old!. The pros there, with a few exceptions, are just human ball machines. There are better kids programs around despite what they tell you about the "EDGE" program.
Aquatics are very bad. You pay a lot of money and they close to pool facilities constantly for swim teams or water aerobics or some other nonsense and they seem to never have the chlorine balance correct, your are either choking on chlorine gas or swimming in warm bath water. They don't even leave a 1 lap lane open for lap swimmers! Very frustrating and complaints fall on deaf ears at both east and west!
We have been a member there for 15 years because we have learned to lower our expectations and it is convenient. We have taken our children out of the tennis program to another club with a more serious concentration on tennis.

over priced like crazy. You pay a lot each month and then your not even granted access to the facilities they claim you can use like b-ball courts, pool, and racketball courts. Even worse the place discourages heavy weight lifting as it's littered with all old people.

Its such a great place! The more you do there, the more you will find!
It starts with the front desk - Maritsa, add Tennis - Carol Levine, and Training - Sal Arnold. All very welcoming, very professional, and even more important, very personable. Carol got me back into Tennis after 25 years! And Sal keeps you on the right path.
Its a no brainer investment in your health (and fun).
Credit goes to Kevin Kane for putting it all together.
