My 2 kids started going to GoForIt in summer. It's like a switch was turned on and suddenly they're more accountable, more thoughtful and disciplined, they're also feeling more confident and strong and it reflects in their school routine and sports. I have been attending this school for about 10-11 years and i’m extremely grateful for doing so. Its taught me a lot of things about myself, life skills, helped me through a bunch of stuff and more importantly it helped me improve tremendously as both a person and s student. I have grown WAY more confident in myself, physically and mentally and i’ve lost weight in the process. This place has seriously helped me grow as a person and taught me to not only appreciate everything that i have but also to appreciate everything and take any and every opportunity or mishap that comes your way. They’ve taught me numerous things but most importantly to love the process, because the rode to success isn’t easy but as long as you love every step you take no matter what you’ll go extremely far. I love this place and it will forever hold a place in my heart. I enrolled my son just over a month ago, and I’m so happy with our decision. The lessons being taught - respect, focus, and believing in yourself are exactly what we teach at home. It’s nice seeing it being reinforced in a different environment. Every class, I can see how much he’s enjoying himself. I’ve also noticed a boost in his confidence. What truly sets this place apart is the instructor Joshu( not sure if that’s how it spell ). He has a unique ability to connect with each child, bringing out their best while maintaining a fun, respectful, and encouraging environment.

Love this school!! My son started here early February, probably one of the best decisions I’ve made. One thing I love is the fact that joshu is extremely amazing with kids however stern at the same time. Kevin is very caring and direct. My son is 5 years old and after 2 months, I’ve seen a Change in him as far as listening more as well as being more attentive and taking more initiative. We tried a few different sports and martial arts programs for our 6 year old this summer to see what he would like to do this school year and within 2 classes, we were sold on Go4It Karate. Our kiddo loved how fun the classes are and we loved that both Joshu and Sensei had the perfect level of compassion but tough love towards all the kiddos which is something we felt was missing with other sports and programs. About two months after our first baby enrolled, our middle kid (who was adamantly against Karate) used the reward of Karate as a reason to not only potty train but enroll too since he saw how much fun the kids were having. Since my husband and I were already (very slowly) starting our fitness journey, we jumped at the opportunity to try Karate when the school offered it to us. We now train when our kids are in their class thanks to the very generous sempai and sensai who train us ad hoc given the time restrictions we have with our family. We always have our last baby/5 month old with us for every class and he has started to get fussy when the rest of the family is now training. The generosity Sensei and the team show by taking care of him (rocking his car seat, giving him new toys) is beyond appreciated and a big reason we feel like we made the right call in schools. They understand how hard it is for parents of young kids and still bend over backwards for us so we can focus on our own health as well which was admittedly not in the best shape in recent years. While my husband has a ton of experience with other martial arts, he had to stop due to some life long injuries and the Sensei here respects the boundaries set by these injuries and never pushes too hard. I'm one that hasn't worked out in almost 13 years yet I look forward to our sessions and have already seen results in a very short timeframe. Our boys are motivated by seeing rewards for their hardwork in the form of stripes and belts with the added bonus of having the whole family (minus baby) partake in an activity we all now enjoy. We're beyond thrilled we found our perfect fit for the family and would highly, highly recommend Go4It for anyone remotely interested in Karate.

Joshu Matthew has been training Our son for over a year now . His dedication professionalism, commitment, and leadership to teach my son
all the karate skills and also on the spur of the moment the technique that he uses to engage my son has been so remarkable and outstanding that even we are amazed each time we see our son perform he does something different every time Joshua is very engaged involved and committed to the teaching in every Session

Highly recommended! This is my first experience my kids and I have taking Karate and we are having such a great time. We started in August and we look forward coming back every time. I love how the school teaches the students not only karate but all the qualities needed to progress and succeed for the future. They also care very deeply for the education of the students. Both of my kids (5yo & 3yo) have been attending karate classes at Go Fot It Martial Arts for about 8months now. My son started couple months before my daughter, she was only 2. Seeing her big brother and all that he was learning, my daughter decided to potty train herself just so she can join!!!
In 2 short weeks (with very minimal effort from me) she was completely out of diapers and ready to start her classes! I enrolled my 8 year old son in GoForIt Martial Arts in July 2023. It has been almost 4 months and I've seen a vast improvement in his behavior at home. He's more disciplined, listens and does that are things asked of him the first time. He has gained confidence, self-control and is better focused since starting the program. I don’t even know where to begin. I can’t say enough great things about Go for it. Your child is known as an individual with their strengths and abilities as well as what needs to be worked on, they will not get lost in the crowd. Instructors expect a lot from your children and will push them to be their best, but will also give a lot as well. If your child needs extra help to catch onto a difficult routine, everyone on staff is willing to help when/as needed.
I have noticed an immense change in drive from my son in the year we have been at Go for it. He balances a lot of sports but karate is his priority for him. I firmly believe that is due to how he is treated once he walks in the doors.
The facility is also extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of seating for parents to stay and watch.
If you want your child to excel in life and be the absolute best version of themselves, it will happen at Go for it.

After doing some research and speaking to the gentleman at the establishment about all the covid guidelines; my husband and I felt comfortable enough to finally let our kids out the house and sign them up. They painted the perfect picture. After going to the one on one class, on our second class, it was deff a different environment. The amount of parents and children was overwhelming. In the small space where people walk in was over crowded, not everyone was being temperature checked, no social distancing. That was on a Thursday. That Friday we got Notified someone tested positive for covid. They shut down, and a few days later we tested positive. After thinking about it all I called and wanted to cancel my membership, a few days later they called and the one thing that stood out throughout the conversation was that the gentleman asked if the kids didn't get it from school, my kids are remote student, they do not go to school! No empathy! Very disappointing experience.

I have been training for 10 years now and there are no words to describe the feeling I get when I walk into the school.The instructors are so passionate about what they do and they are always willing to help me with new skills and difficult techniques. I have been studying the Martial Arts for 20 years, just not at your school. When my son (he’s 7) was diagnosed with ADHA and tendencies toward autism, I was very concerned. You see, he has a heart of gold and his social issues would make him susceptible to ridicule and being taken advantage of by his peers. We all know how cruel kids can be. I knew that martial arts training would be a means (among other modalities) for him to overcome his issues. As well as, if need arises, to discourage the ridicule. Alas, the school where I train would not take a student at his young age. I had seen a number of the local martial arts academy’s that had “Tiny Tigers” and “Little Dragons” type programs and we enrolled him in them. It seems that these programs can be a great deal more like tumbling programs and a lot less like Karate. So we went through a couple of schools in a short time.
We have always lived in the neighborhood and one of his friends had a birthday party at Martial Arts America. He loved it. My wife told me how nice the Kyo were and she knew that I wasn’t happy with what he was “learning” where he was so we, reluctantly, decided to sign him up for classes. He is working on his focus; he enjoys the classes there so much. At the last graduation when he earned his belt we could tell that he had a great sense of accomplishment. It helps him with his self-esteem and it is blatantly obvious that the instructors and staff are there out of Love and truly care about the health and well-being of the students. As I get to know the Sensei’s, Kyo and other instructors it reinforces that my son is in the right place. They are people of honor, integrity and respect. This is the example that they set for my son, then he is certain to be a quality individual. I am so happy that we found Martial Arts America and my son will be training there for years to come.

My son, 9 years old receives PT in school and always had issues with his leg strength, running , and walking like typical kids his age. i was always looking for activities that would strengthen him physically but still be fun for him. We tried numerous sports including basketball and soccer but the problem was that it lowered his self esteem because they were team sports and he could not keep up with the other kids. I tried a karate school located in my neighborhood but all they were concerned with was winning and fighting so I was not happy about that place and took my son out of there. About a year and half ago, I cam across a flyer for Martial Arts America through my son's school and I thought there was no harm in trying for a trial period. I have to tell you it was the best decision I made for my son. A year later , my son's walking and running as well as leg strength has improved dramatically. Better than that, so has his confidence! Martial Arts America is not just about physical strength but also the emotional aspect of a child or adult has they learn , forms ,and sparring techniques. I love how the dedicated instructors Sa Bum Mike , Kyo Jason, and Kyo Victoria as well as the others instill good habits, respect, courtesy, responsibility , good study habits and over all good behavior for home and school in all their lessons. In their eyes everyone who joins Martial Arts America has the potential to be a black-belt . Four years ago I was looking to start training in a martial art. It was daunting because it is not easy to break into physical training when you are 27! I shopped around at quite a few schools and Martial Arts America immediately impressed me with their organization and moreover, their respect. Other places had seen I was an adult woman and offered me little more than a cardio kickboxing class; Martial Arts America treated me with the respect they would have offered a first-level black belt, and better yet, promised me a belt program I have definitely learned from!
