Just wanted to share the most wonderful experience we had here today while attending a birthday party. My son was super nervous, and extremely shy (he had a bad birthday party experience yesterday, and was afraid to come to the party today). Mr. Matt saw how nervous and afraid my son was, he came right over and offered him a sticker. He got right to my son’s level (he’s 3), and went out of his way to make him feel comfortable. He got my son to slowly engage with the rest of the party and the obstacle course, he made him feel comfortable and his kindness was second to none. By the end of the party my son was having a great time, and kept looking for Matt, as if they were forever friends. The entire staff was fantastic and they truly care, and love what they do. Thank you so much to Matt, and your entire staff for making my little guy feel so special and get over his fear. The party was excellent, and we would come back in a minute.

They have the nerve to charge $20 for lunch bunch to extend the camp day by an hour and lunch isn’t even included. They don’t even communicate that lunch isn’t included in the registration confirmation email. Robin, the office manager, is rude. We will be going to Long Island Core Gymnastics going forward.

This review is for the office management and customer service - incredibly disappointing, profit driven, and lack compassion. Even after incredibly challenging extenuating circumstances, office refused to negotiate an essential refund request.. You will not be met with flexibility or understanding in this way.

An absolutely wonderful gymnastics center for my little ones! My now 3.5yo started in Bronze Babies (ages 2-3 with parent) and recently moved up to Silver Stars (ages 3-5 no parent). Her growth has been amazing to witness and we attribute this to all the wonderful coaches! My daughter can be hesitant and the coaches go at her pace until the “unlock” moment when she is fully participating. As a mom, I can trust the coaches to deal with her directly without having to intervene and I’ve seen such maturity and independence emerge from my girl!

The best part for us about this center is they offer mini camps throughout the year during all the school breaks (one day or up to one week!). The camps typically run 3 hours in the mornings (times do vary and may include the option to add an hour for some camps/roughly 9:30a-12:30p). Our kids have fun doing something physical and they usually do art and other games. I can’t recommend these programs enough!

Modified rating after a bad experience requesting reimbursement for an auto charge for the second session of summer classes that my daughter cannot attend due to another obligation… We used to love Gold Medal Smithtown! My daughter had been attending here for years, went to summer camp and she even had her birthday party here. Not a great way to treat a customer for years. I have spent thousands of dollars here through the years all they needed was to refund me for 4 classes. Not cool.

What an amazing facility and staff. Our daughter had self confidence and doing cartwheels within a week. We are planing to sign up our son for ninja group. They accommodate you if you miss sessions with make up dates. By far the best gymnastic place on Long Island.

Absolutely love GMGC! My daughter started with mommy and me classes shy as ever. Now she looks forward to every class each week and every camp that comes up. My daughter has been coming for about 6 years- started with recreational classes, then moved up to the team level. Ive always felt that she was safe and well cared for and the coaches are very capable, professional and good at communicating. She now has Coach Diana and Antoine- who are excellent- they’re very attentive and caring, but also encourage my daughter as things get more and more difficult. There are several gyms in the area, but I know she is in the best place for her right now. Overall, my daughter loves coming to GMGC!

We’ve been coming here for 4 year now, and I can’t recommend this location and these coaches enough! My girls love coming here and it truly feels like a family. The coaches are great, they love the kids, they take their time, and they truly want the best and get excited when your child masters a new skill. The gym is beautiful and always clean! My son went for a week of summer camp and truly loved it! He wants to go back and have his birthday there. I had some issues though. First he got pink eye two days after it ended. Anyone else have this happen? I also did not like the pick up/drop off. It was our first time ever entering the gym and noone was telling us anything. I had to ask anyone who would look at me what was happening. No one introduced themselves to us. Also, my mom picked him up one day and I had to go out of my way to make this known. Honestly, anyone could picked him up. So although my son loved it and I got used to it by the end of the week, I just think they need to be more organized.

Worst experience ever! The coaches don’t introduce themselves. They aren’t very energetic-something I expect from a gymnastic facility working with children. They left my daughter sitting in the gym for about 10 minutes before they realized she was there for a class. Then they ended her class early. I would not recommend bringing your children to Gold Metal Smithtown.

We have been at Gold Medal Smithtown for 2 years now. My daughter absolutely loves it and has progressed so much within such a short period of time. The staff is beyond professional and friendly. Anytime I needed help, they were so accommodating and worked with me and my hectic schedule. The teachers are consistent and always show up prepared and on time, the classes are carefully planned and thought out, the gym is very clean and operates smoothly. We had her 5th birthday party here and it was PERFECT. I live in commack and commuting here once school started became a little difficult because she got off the bus so late this year. I decided to try out Artistic and It was the worst experience I ever had, it may be 1 minute from my house, but absolutely not worth it!! I called up Gold Medal and they were able figure out a way to make it work in a different class and time. Molly and Sam are so incredible. Not only are they excellent teachers but they actually care about my daughter. She got pneumonia and was out sick for 3 weeks. She asked me everyday if she could go because she missed Molly and Sam. When we finally returned both teachers ran over to her and hugged her and asked how she was doing that they missed her. I couldn’t be happier with this place. Great Job Gold Medal!

My daughter at age 12 had no experience, and we made sure that was known, but the teenage employees were to busy chatting to teach my daughter, and asking her to do all sorts of things she's never done before! They spotted her twice in an hour and a half lesson. My daughter came out embarrassing and hurt STAY AWAY

and I am very happy with the results! She has learned more then any other gym we have been to! She has gained confidence, motivation and she loves her coaches. Money well spent if you ask me! I would highly recommend Gold Medal :)
